A Melody of David. Give to Yahweh, ye sons of the mighty, —Give to Yahweh, [both] glory and strength:
2 BAWIPA koe a min hoi kamcu e bawilennae hah poe awh BAWIPA teh thoungnae kamthoup lahoi bawk awh.
Give to Yahweh, the glory of his Name, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness.
3 BAWIPA lawk teh tui dawk ao teh, Cathut bawilennae teh puenghoi a cai, BAWIPA teh tui moikapap dawk ao.
The voice of Yahweh, is upon the waters, —The GOD of glory, hath thundered, Yahweh, is upon mighty waters;
4 BAWIPA lawk teh bahuonae hoi a kawi. BAWIPA lawk teh taluenae hoi a kawi.
The voice of Yahweh, is with power, The voice of Yahweh, is with majesty;
5 BAWIPA lawk ni sidar thingnaw a khoe, BAWIPa ni Lebanon mon e sidar thingnaw a pâyaw sak.
The voice of Yahweh, is breaking cedars, Now hath Yahweh, broken down, the cedars of Lebanon!
6 Maitoca patetlah a cawkdawk sak teh, Lebanon hoi Sirion hah savica patetlah a cawkdawk sak.
And hath made them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion, like the bull-calf of wild-oxen;
7 BAWIPA lawk ni hmaisaan hah a kapek.
The voice of Yahweh, is cleaving out flames of fire;
8 BAWIPA lawk ni kahrawng hai a kahuet, BAWIPA ni Kadesh kahrawng hai a kahuet.
The voice of Yahweh, bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness; Yahweh bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness of Kadesh!
9 BAWIPA lawk ni sayuk ca a khe sak teh, kahrawng e thinghna pueng koung a due. A bawkim dawk tami pueng ni 'a sungren' telah ati awh.
The voice of Yahweh, causeth the gazelles to bring forth, and hath stript forests; and, in his own temple, every one there, is saying, Glory!
10 Tuikalen dawkvah bawitungkhung dawk BAWIPA teh a tahung BAWIPA teh siangpahrang patetlah pou a tahung.
Yahweh, at the Flood, was seated, And Yahweh hath taken his seat, as king, unto times age-abiding.
11 BAWIPA ni a taminaw hah a thaosak teh, BAWIPA ni a taminaw hah roumnae lahoi yawhawi a poe han.
Yahweh, will give, strength to his people, —Yahweh, will bless his people with prosperity.
