1 Kathutkung: Panuekhoeh, tami tangawn ni Ezra a ti awh BAWIPA lawk dawk khosaknae BAWIPA e a lamthung ka phen hoeh niteh, a lawk dawk ka dawn e tami teh a yawhawi.
Alleluia. Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Bawipa e lawkpanuesaknae ka hringkhai niteh, Bawipa hah a lungthin abuemlahoi ka tawng e teh a yawhawi.
Blessed are they that search out his testimonies: they will diligently seek him with the whole heart.
3 Ahnimouh teh payonnae sak awh hoeh. Ahnie lamthung dawk a dawn awh.
For they that work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Maimouh ni tarawi awh hanelah, Nang ni kâlawknaw hah na cangkhai awh toe.
Thou hast commanded [us] diligently to keep thy precepts.
5 Bawipa e phunglawknaw dawk ka dawn thai nahanlah, ka lamthungnaw teh lan naseh.
O that my ways were directed to keep thine ordinances.
6 Kai ni Bawipa e kâpoelawknaw ka tarawi navah kayak mahoeh.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
7 Nange kalan lah lawkcengnae ka kamtu navah, kalan e lungthin hoi nang teh, na pholen han.
I will give thee thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learnt the judgments of thy righteousness.
8 Nange phunglawknaw hah ka tarawi han. Kai hah khoeroe na hnoun hanh loe. Lawk
I will keep thine ordinances: O forsake me not greatly.
9 Nawsai ni amae lamthung hah bangtelamaw a thoungsak han tet pawiteh, Bawipa e a lawk patetlah a tarawi han.
Wherewith shall a young man direct his way? by keeping thy words.
10 Kai ni nang teh, ka lungthin abuemlahoi na tawng. Bawipa nange kâpoelawknaw dawk hoi kai na phensak hanh.
With my whole heart have I diligently sought thee: cast me not away from thy commandments.
11 Bawipa koe ka yon hoeh nahanlah, ka lung thung a lawknaw hah ka hmouk toe.
I have hidden thine oracles in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Oe BAWIPA, nang teh yawhawi lah na o. Nange phunglawknaw hah na cangkhai haw.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thine ordinances.
13 Nang ni pahni hoi lawkcengnae pueng hah ka pahni hoi ka pâpho han.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 Hnopai tawnta e dawk ka lunghawi e patetlah, nange panuesaknae lawk dawk ka konawm han.
I have delighted in the way of thy testimonies, [as much] as in all riches.
15 Nange phunglawk hah luepluep pouk laihoi, na lamthungnaw hah ka bari han.
I will meditate on thy commandments, and consider thy ways.
16 Nange phunglamnaw dawk kho ka sak han. Na lawk hah ka pahnim mahoeh. Panuesaknae
I will meditate on thine ordinances: I will not forget thy words.
17 Na san ni kahring vaiteh, na lawk ka tarawi thai nahanlah na pahren haw.
Render a recompense to thy servant: [so] shall I live, and keep thy words.
18 Nange na kâlawknaw dawk hoi kângairu hno ka hmu thai nahan ka mit ang sak haw.
Unveil thou mine eyes, and I shall perceive wondrous things of thy law.
19 Kai teh het talai van vah imyin lah ka o. Kâpoelawknaw hah hrawk hanh loe.
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Nange lawkcengnae naw hah pou ka doun e lahoi ka lung a tangpo.
My soul has longed exceedingly for thy judgments at all times.
21 Nange kâpoelawknaw dawk hoi ka phen awh niteh, ka kâoupnaw hoi thoebo lah kaawm e naw hah yue haw.
Thou has rebuked the proud: cursed are they that turn aside from thy commandments.
22 Kai teh, nange panuesaknae hah ka tarawi dawkvah, pathoenae hoi banglah noutnahoehnae dawk hoi na hlout sak haw.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have sought out thy testimonies.
23 Kacuenaw ni a tahung awh teh, kai hah na ka taran awh nakunghai, nange na san teh, na phunglamnaw hah luepluep ka pouk han.
For princes sat and spoke against me: but thy servant was meditating on thine ordinances.
24 Nange lawkpanuesaknae teh, ka khosaknae hoi kâpankhaikung lah ao. Ukpadi
For thy testimonies are my (meditation) and thine ordinances are my counsellors.
25 Ka muitha teh vaiphu dawk rep a kâbet. Na lawk dawk na hring sak haw.
My soul has cleaved to the ground; quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 Ka lamthung ka pâpho toteh nang ni na thai pouh. Na phunglamnaw hah na cangkhai haw.
I declared my ways, and thou didst hear me: teach me thine ordinances.
27 Na phunglawk hah na panueksak haw, na sak e kângairu hno hah ka pouk han.
Instruct me in the way of thine ordinances; and I will meditate on thy wondrous works.
28 ka lungmathoe lahoi ka lungthin teh a kamyawt toe. Na lawk patetlah tha na awm sak haw.
My soul has slumbered for sorrow; strengthen thou me with thy words.
29 Payonnae lamthung ka roun thai nahan na pahren nateh, kâlawknaw hah na poe haw.
Remove from me the way of iniquity; and be merciful to me by thy law.
30 Lam kalan teh ka rawi toe. na lawkcengnae naw teh kahma lah ka hruek toe.
I have chosen the way of truth; and have not forgotten thy judgments.
31 Oe BAWIPA, na lawkpanuesaknae hah ka kuet. Na kayak sak hanh.
I have cleaved to thy testimonies, O Lord; put me not to shame.
32 Ka lungthin na kaw sak toteh, na poe e kâpoelawknaw dawk tarawi laihoi ka yawng han. Phunglawk panue nahane
I ran the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart.
33 Oe BAWIPA, na phunglam hah na cangkhai haw. Apout totouh ka tarawi han.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of thine ordinances, and I will seek it out continually.
34 Thaipanueknae hah na poe haw, na kâlawknaw teh ka tarawi han, oe ka lungthin abuemlahoi ka tarawi han.
Instruct me, and I will search out thy law, and will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Na poe e kâpoelawknaw hah na dawn sak haw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, hothateh, ka lunghawinae doeh.
Guide me in the path of thy commandments; for I have delighted in it.
36 Ka lungthin hah hounlounnae koe laipalah, na lawkpanuesaknae koe lah pahei haw.
Incline mine heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Ahrawnghrang koe lah ka khet hoeh nahanlah, ka mit heh alouklah kangvawi sak haw. Na lamthung dawkvah, na hring sak haw.
Turn away mine eyes that I may not behold vanity: quicken thou me in thy way.
38 Na san koevah, na lawk hah caksak haw. Nang takinae hoi a hring nahanlah.
Confirm thine oracle to thy servant, that he may fear thee.
39 Tamthoe takinae koehoi na kamlang sak haw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na lawkcengnae teh ahawi.
Take away my reproach which I have feared: for thy judgments are good.
40 Khenhaw! Na phunglawknaw teh ka rabui, na lannae hoi na roung sak haw. Kâlawk
Behold, I have desired thy commandments: quicken me in thy righteousness.
41 Oe BAWIPA na lawkkam e patetlah na lungmanae hoi na rungngangnae teh kai koe phat lawiseh.
And let thy mercy come upon me, O Lord; [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 Hottelah hoiyah, kai min mathoe ka dei e naw hah ka pathung thai han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nange lawkkatang doeh ka kâuep.
And [so] I shall render an answer to them that reproach me: for I have trusted in thy words.
43 Nange lawkcengnae hah ka ngaihawi dawkvah, lawkkatang lawk hah ka pahni dawk hoi na takhoe pouh hanh loe.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. So shall I keep thy law continually, for ever and ever.
44 Kai teh nange kâlawknaw hah a yungyoe hoi a yungyoe totouh ka tarawi han.
45 Nange phunglawknaw hah ka tawng toung dawkvah, hloutnae dawkvah ka cei han toe.
I walked also at large: for I sought out thy commandments.
46 Kai teh nange panuesaknae naw hah siangpahrangnaw hmalah ka pâpho han. Kayakkhai mahoeh.
And I spoke of thy testimonies before kings, and was not ashamed.
47 Kai ni ka lungpataw e nange kâpoelawknaw dawkvah, kai teh ka lunghawikhai han.
And I meditated on thy commandments, which I loved exceedingly.
48 Ka lungpataw e nange kâpoelawknaw hanlah, ka kut ka dâw vaiteh, nange phunglamnaw hah luepluep ka pouk han. Phunglawk
And I lifted up my hands to thy commandments which I loved; and I meditated in thine ordinances.
49 Na san koe e lawk hah pahnim hanh. Hote ni doeh ngaihawinae na tawn sak.
Remember thy words to thy servant, wherein thou hast made me hope.
50 Hethateh, runae kâhmo navah, ka lungmawngnae doeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na lawk ni hringnae na poe.
This has comforted me in mine affliction: for thine oracle has quickened me.
51 Ka kâoupnaw niteh, lung na paroum nah awh. Hatei, nange kâlawk teh ka phen takhai mahoeh.
The proud have transgressed exceedingly; but I swerved not from thy law.
52 Oe BAWIPA, yampa e na lawkcengnae teh ka pahnim hoeh Hothateh, ka lungmawngnae doeh.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and was comforted.
53 Nange kâlawk kapahnawtnaw kecu dawkvah, ka lung a ro.
Despair took hold upon me, because of the sinners who forsake thy law.
54 Kahlawng ka ceinae im dawkvah, na phunglawk teh kaie la lah doeh ao.
Thine ordinances were my songs in the place of my sojourning.
55 Oe BAWIPA, karum hai na min teh ka pahnim hoeh. Na kâlawk teh ka tarawi.
I remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and kept thy law.
56 Na phunglawknaw teh ka tarawi dawkvah, kaie lah a coung awh. Bawipa e kâlawk kâuepnae
This I had, because I diligently sought thine ordinances.
57 Oe BAWIPA, nang teh kai kaham doeh. Nange na lawk hah ka tarawi han telah ka dei toe.
Thou art my portion, O Lord: I said that I would keep thy law.
58 Ka lungthin abuemlahoi na minhmai teh ka tawng. Na lawk patetlah kai na pahren haw.
I besought thy favour with my whole heart: have mercy upon me according to thy word.
59 Ka lamthungnaw hah ka pouk teh, ka khoktakannaw teh na panuesaknae koelah ka kamlang sak.
I thought on thy ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
60 Kâpoelawknaw tarawi hanelah, hnawngcawn laipalah, karanglah ka kâroe.
I prepared myself, (and was not terrified, ) to keep thy commandments.
61 Tamikaponaw e tangron ni na katek ei nakunghai, nange kâlawk teh ka pahnim hoeh.
The snares of sinners entangled me: but I forgot not thy law.
62 Nang ni kalan lah na lawkcengnae dawkvah, karumsaning nang koe lunghawilawk dei hanelah ka thaw han.
At midnight I arose, to give thanks to thee for the judgments of thy righteousness.
63 Nang na ka taket e pueng hoi nange phunglawk katarawinaw e hui lah doeh ka o.
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy commandments.
64 Oe BAWIPA, talai hah na lungmanae hoi akawi teh, na phunglam hah na cangkhai haw. Bawipa e kâlawk ahawinae
O Lord, the earth is full of thy mercy: teach me thine ordinances.
65 Oe BAWIPA, na lawk patetlah na san kai koe na hawi toe.
Thou hast wrought kindly with thy servant, o Lord, according to thy word.
66 Kai teh, na lawkcengnae kahawi hoi, panuethainae hah na cangkhai haw. Nange kâpoelawknaw hah ka yuem.
Teach me kindness, and instruction, and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Kai teh runae kâhmo hoehnahlan vah lam ka payon. Atuteh nange na lawk heh ka tarawi toe.
Before I was afflicted, I transgressed; therefore have I kept thy word.
68 Nang teh na hawi, hawinae hai na sak. Na phunglam hah na cangkhai haw.
Good art thou, O Lord; therefore in thy goodness teach me thine ordinances.
69 Tami kâoupnaw niteh, kai hah laithoe hoi na ka taran nakunghai, kai teh nange phunglawknaw hah ka lungthin abuemlahoi ka tarawi.
The injustice of the proud has been multiplied against me: but I will search out thy commandments with all my heart.
70 Ahnimae lungthin teh sathaw patetlah a thâw. Kai teh, nange kâlawk doeh ka lunghawikhai.
Their heart has been curdled like milk; but I have meditated on thy law.
71 Nange phunglam ka kamtu thai nahanlah, runae ka kâhmo e naw heh kai hanelah ahawi.
[It is] good for me that thou hast afflicted me; that I might learn thine ordinances.
72 Suingun thong moikapap hlakvah, na pahni dawk hoi ka tâcawt e na lawk teh kai han lah ahawihnawn. Bawipa e kâlawk teh a lan
The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Bawipa nange kut ni kai hah na sak teh, meilam hah na poe toe. Nange kâpoelawknaw kamtu thai nahanlah, panuenae hoi na kawi sak haw.
Thy hands have made me, and fashioned me: instruct me, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Na lawk ka ngaihawinae dawkvah, Bawipa ka taketnaw ni kai na hmu awh toteh, a lunghawi awh han.
They that fear thee will see me and rejoice: for I have hoped in thy words.
75 Oe BAWIPA, na lawkcengnae teh a lan. Runae na kâhmo sak e hai yuemkamcu lahoi na kâhmo sak tie ka panue.
I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are righteousness, and [that] thou in truthfulness hast afflicted me.
76 Na san kai koe na lawk patetlah na lungmanae teh, ka lungmawngnae lah tho lawiseh telah ka ratoum.
Let, I pray thee, thy mercy be to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.
77 Na lungmanae teh ka hring nahanlah kai koe kamnuek naseh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nange kâlawk teh, ka lunghawinae lah ao.
Let thy compassions come to me, that I may live: for thy law is my (meditation)
78 Tami kâoupnaw teh, yeiraipo hoi awm awh naseh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, a khuekhaw awm laipalah, kai dawk kamsoum hoeh lah hno a sak awh. Hatei, kai teh, na phunglawknaw hah luepluep ka pouk.
Let the proud be ashamed; for they transgressed against me unjustly: but I will meditate in thy commandments.
79 Bawipa nang ka taket e nange kampangkhainaw ka panuek e naw teh, kai koe kamlang awh naseh.
Let those that fear thee, and those that know thy testimonies, turn to me.
80 Kaya hoeh nahanelah, ka lungthin teh na phunglamnaw dawk tounnae awm laipalah awm lawi naseh. Hlout nahanlah ratoumnae
Let mine heart be blameless in thine ordinances, that I may not be ashamed.
81 Ka muitha teh na rungngangnae pouk laihoi tha a tâwn toe. Hatei, na lawk doeh ka ngaihawi.
My soul faints for thy salvation: I have hoped in thy words.
82 Nâtuek maw lung na mawng sak han ti hoi ngaihawi laihoi ka mit tha abaw toe.
Mine eyes failed [in waiting] for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Bangkongtetpawiteh, tungking ka cawt e phaivuen um patetlah doeh ka o. Hatei, na phunglam teh ka pahnim hoeh.
For I am become as a bottle in the frost: [yet] I have not forgotten thine ordinances.
84 Na san ka hringnae hah nâsittouh han na maw. Na ka rektap e naw hah nâtuek maw lawk na ceng han.
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment for me on them that persecute me?
85 Tami kâoupnaw nange kâlawk katapoenaw ni kai hanelah tangkomnaw hah a tai awh toe.
Transgressors told me [idle tales]; but not according to thy law, O Lord.
86 Na kâlawknaw pueng teh, yuem a kamcu. Ahnimouh ni kamsoum hoeh lah na rektap awh, na kabawm haw.
All thy commandments are truth; they persecuted me unjustly; help thou me.
87 Ahnimouh ni kai teh, talai van meimei na pahma awh toe. Hatei, nange phunglawknaw teh ka pahmat hoeh.
They nearly made an end of me in the earth; but I forsook not thy commandments.
88 Na pahrenlungmanae hoi bout na kâhlaw sak haw. Na lawkpanuesaknae teh ka tarawi han. Bawipa e kâlawk teh yuemkamcu
Quicken me according to thy mercy; so shall I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
89 Oe BAWIPA, na lawk teh kalvan kho vah a yungyoe a cak.
Thy word, O Lord, abides in heaven for ever.
90 Yuemkamcunae teh a se tangkuem a kangning. Talai heh na caksak teh a kangning.
Thy truth [endures] to all generations; thou hast founded the earth, and it abides.
91 Hnocawngca pueng teh na san lah ao awh dawkvah, sahnin ditouh a kangning awh.
The day continues by thy arrangement; for all things are thy servants.
92 Na kâlawk heh ka lunghawinae lah awm hoeh pawiteh, yampa runae ka kâhmo navah, kadout han doeh toe.
Were it not that thy law is my (meditation) then I should have perished in mine affliction.
93 Na phunglawk hah ka pahnim roeroe mahoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, hotnaw lahoi doeh hringnae teh na poe.
I will never forget thine ordinances; for with them thou hast quickened me.
94 Nange lah ka o, na rungngang haw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na phunglawk doeh ka tawng.
I am thine, save me; for I have sought out thine ordinances.
95 Tamikathoutnaw ni thei hanelah na pawp awh. Hatei, na lawkpanuesaknae hah luepluep ka pouk han.
Sinners laid wait for me to destroy me; [but] I understood thy testimonies.
96 Kuepnae pueng ni poutnae hai ka hmu toe. Hatei, kâpoelawk teh a kaw toungloung. Bawipa e kâlawk teh ka ngai
have seen an end of all perfection; [but] thy commandment is very broad.
97 Oe nange kâlawk teh ka lungpataw poung. Hothateh kanîruirui luepluep ka pouk e lah ao.
How I have loved thy law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Nange kâpoelawknaw ni ka tarannaw hlak ka lung a ang sak. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kai koe pou ao awh.
Thou hast made me wiser than mine enemies [in] thy commandment; for it is mine for ever.
99 Nange panuesaknae naw teh, luepluep ka pouk dawkvah, na kacangkhaikungnaw hlak hoe ka thaipanuek.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my medication.
100 Nange phunglawknaw hah ka tarawi dawkvah, kacuenaw hlak hai ka thaipanuek.
I understand more that the aged; because I have sought out thy commandments.
101 Na lawk ka tarawi thai nahanlah, hawihoehnae lamthungnaw pueng heh ka roun.
I have kept back my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy words.
102 Na lawkceng e naw hah ka roun hoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nama roeroe ni na cangkhai toe.
I have not declined from thy judgments; for thou hast instructed me.
103 Na lawk teh kai hanlah ka dangka dawk banghloimaw a radip. Kai hanlah ka pahni dawk khoitui hlak hai a radip.
How sweet are thine oracles to my throat! more so than honey to my mouth!
104 Na phunglawknaw lahoi, thaipanueknae ka tawn toe. Hatdawkvah, lampaiheinaw teh ka hmuhma toe. Bawipa e kâlawk teh angnae
I gain understanding by thy commandments: therefore I have hated every way of unrighteousness.
105 Na lawk teh ka khok hanlah hmaiim lah ao teh, ka lamthung hanlah angnae lah ao.
Thy law is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
106 Na lawkcengnae kalan teh ka tarawi han telah lawk ka kam toe.
I have sworn and determined to keep the judgments of thy righteousness.
107 Oe BAWIPA, kai teh puenghoi rektapnae ka kâhmo. Na lawk patetlah na hring sak haw.
I have been very greatly afflicted, O Lord: quicken me, according to thy word.
108 Oe BAWIPA, lungthocalah hoi ka pahni hoi thuengnae hah na dâw pouh haw telah ka ratoum. Na lawkcengnae hah na cangkhai haw.
Accept, I pray thee, O Lord, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, and teach me thy judgments.
109 Ka hringnae heh ka kut dawk pou ao. Hatei, na lawk teh ka pahnim hoeh.
My soul is continually in thine hands; and I have not forgotten thy law.
110 Tamikaponaw ni kai hanlah karap teh a patûng awh. Hatei, na phunglawk hah ka phen takhai mahoeh.
Sinners spread a snare for me; but I erred not from thy commandments.
111 Na lawkpanuesaknae teh a yungyoe râw lah ka la toe. Bangkongtetpawiteh, lung kahawisakkung doeh.
I have inherited thy testimonies for ever; for they are the joy of my heart.
112 Na phunglamnaw tarawi hanelah, ka lungthin hah pou ka hroecoe toe. Bawipa e kâlawk teh kâhatnae
I have inclined my heart to perform thine ordinances for ever, in return [for thy mercies].
113 Ayawmyin e taminaw teh ka hmuhma, hatei nange kâlawk teh ka lungpataw.
I have hated transgressors; but I have loved thy law.
114 Nang teh, ka kânguenae hoi bahling lah na o teh, na lawk teh ka ngaihawinae lah ao.
Thou art my helper and my supporter; I have hoped in thy words.
115 Nangmouh hawihoehnae kasaknaw kai koehoi kâkhoe awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka Cathut e kâpoelawknaw dueng doeh ka pâkuem han.
Depart from me, ye evil-doers; for I will search out the commandments of my God.
116 Ka hring nahanlah na lawk patetlah na kangdout sak haw. Ka hawinae hah yeirai lah coungsak hanh.
Uphold me according to thy word, and quicken me; and make me not ashamed of my expectation.
117 Na kuen haw, ka hlout han. Na phunglam hah pou ka tarawi han.
Help me, and I shall be saved; and I will meditate in thine ordinances continually.
118 Na phunglam dawk hoi ka phen e pueng heh koung na pahnawt. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ahnimae dumyennae teh laithoe doeh.
Thou hast brought to nought all that depart from thine ordinances; for their inward thought is unrighteous.
119 Talai tamikaponaw pueng teh, ei patetlah na tâkhawng. Hatdawkvah, nange lawkpanuesaknae teh ka lungpataw han.
I have reckoned all the sinners of the earth as transgressors; therefore have I loved thy testimonies.
120 Nang taki lawi ka takthai a pâyaw teh, na lawkcengnae hah ka bari. Bawipa e kâlawk teh tarawi hane
Penetrate my flesh with thy fear; for I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Kai teh lawkcengnae hoi lannae hah katawksak toe. Rep kacuengroenaw koe na cettakhai hanh.
I have done judgment and justice; deliver me not up to them that injure me.
122 Na san kai hanlah kacakpounge kabawmkung lah awm nateh, ka kâoupnaw ni repcoungroe e lah na awm sak hanh.
Receive thy servant for good: let not the proud accuse me falsely.
123 Na rungngangnae hoi lannae lawk ka radoungnae koe ka mit teh tha abaw toe.
Mine eyes have failed for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
124 Na san hanelah na lungmanae kamnuek sak nateh, na phunglam hah na cangkhai haw.
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thine ordinances.
125 Kai teh nange san doeh. Na lawkpanuesaknae hah ka panue thai nahanlah thaipanueknae na poe haw.
I am thy servant; instruct me, and I shall know thy testimonies.
126 Oe BAWIPA, na tawk nahane tueng a pha toe. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na kâlawk teh banghai bang hoeh lah a coungsak awh.
[It is] time for the Lord to work: they have utterly broken thy law.
127 Hatdawkvah, nange kâpoelawknaw teh sui hlak hai ka lungpataw teh, suituici hlak hai ka lung hoe ka pataw.
Therefore have I loved thy commandments more than gold, or the topaz.
128 Hatdawkvah, bangpueng hlak hai na phunglawknaw hah a thuem telah ka pouk. Lampaihei teh ka hmuhma. BAWIPA e kâlawk teh tarawi ka ngai
Therefore I directed myself [according] to all thy commandments: I have hated every unjust way.
129 Na lawkpanuesaknae teh kângai lah a ru. Hatdawkvah, ka hringnae ni a pâkuem.
Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul has sought them out.
130 Na lawk caisaknae ni angnae a poe teh, kamawngramnaw hah thaipanueknae a poe.
The manifestation of thy words will enlighten, and instruct the simple.
131 Ka kâko ka ang teh puenghoi ka kâha. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nange kâpoelawknaw hah ka rabui poung.
I opened my mouth, and drew breath: for I earnestly longed after thy commandments.
132 Na min kalungpatawnaw na pahrennae patetlah, na khen nateh, na pahren haw.,
Look upon me and have mercy upon me, after the manner of them that love thy name.
133 Ka khoktakannaw hah na lawk hoi caksak haw, ka lathueng vah payonnae ni kâ tawn sak hanh.
Order my steps according to thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Na phunglawknaw ka tarawi thai nahanlah, ayâ ni repcoungroenae hmuen koehoi na rasat haw.
Deliver me from the false accusation of men: so will I keep thy commandments.
135 Na san koevah, na minhmai ang sak nateh, na phunglam hah na cangkhai haw.
Cause thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thine ordinances.
136 Ayânaw ni nange kâlawk a tarawi awh hoeh dawkvah, ka mitphi teh palang tui patetlah a lawng. BAWIPA E kâlawk teh Lannae
Mine eyes have been bathed in streams of water, because I kept not thy law.
137 Oe BAWIPA, nang teh na lan doeh, na lawkcengnae hai a lan doeh.
Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.
138 Na poe e panuesaknae teh a lan teh, yuemkamcu e lah ao.
Thou has commanded righteousness and perfect truth, [as] thy testimonies.
139 Ka tarannaw ni na lawk a pahnim awh dawkvah, ka lungthaonae ni kai teh na rek.
Thy zeal has quite wasted me: because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
140 Na lawk teh a thoung tangngak. Hatdawkvah, na san kai ni ka ngai.
Thy word [has been] very fully tried; and thy servant loves it.
141 Kai teh tami titca, hnephnap e lah kaawm ei nakunghai, nange phunglamnaw teh ka pahnim hoeh.
I am young and despised: [yet] I have not forgotten thine ordinances.
142 Na lannae teh a yungyoe lannae lah ao teh, na kâlawk teh a thuem doeh.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.
143 Runae hoi mathoenae ni na ka tho sin nakunghai, nange kâpoelawknaw teh ka lunghawinae lah ao.
Afflictions and distresses found me: [but] thy commandments [were] my (meditation)
144 Na panuesaknae lannae teh a yungyoe a kangning, thaipanueknae na poe haw ka hring han. Hlout nahan ratoumnae
Thy testimonies [are] an everlasting righteousness: instruct me, and I shall live.
145 Ka lungthin abuemlahoi na kaw, Oe BAWIPA na thai pouh haw, na phunglam teh ka tarawi han.
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will search out thine ordinances.
146 Nang koe ka hramki, na rungngang haw. Na lawkpanuesaknae teh ka tarawi han.
I cried to thee; save me, and I will keep thy testimonies.
147 Khodai hoehnahlan ka thaw teh, kabawpnae hei laihoi ka hram. Na lawk teh ka ngaihawi.
I arose before the dawn, and cried: I hoped in thy words.
148 Na lawk lueplueppouk thai nahan, karum tuettuet ip laipalah ka hra.
Mine eyes prevented the dawn, that I might meditate on thine oracles.
149 Na lungpatawnae patetlah ka lawk hah na thai pouh haw. Oe BAWIPA na lawkcengnae patetlah na hring sak haw.
Hear my voice, O Lord, according to thy mercy; quicken me according to thy judgment.
150 Hawihoehnae kasaknaw teh hoehoe a hnai awh toe. Na kâlawk hoi ahlanae koe ao awh.
They have drawn nigh who persecuted me unlawfully; and they are far removed from thy law.
151 Oe BAWIPA, nang teh na hnai teh, nange kâpoelawknaw teh lawkkatang doeh.
Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy ways are truth.
152 Na lawkpanuesaknae a yungyoe na ta e hah ahmaloe hoi ka panue toe. Rungngang nahan ratoumnae
I have known of old concerning thy testimonies, that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Ka khang e runae hah khen nateh, na rungngang haw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nange kâpoelawk teh ka pahnim hoeh.
Look upon mine affliction, and rescue me; for I have not forgotten thy law.
154 Kai hanelah pouk nateh, na ratang haw. Na lawk patetlah na pâhlaw haw.
Plead my cause, and ransom me: quicken me because of thy word.
155 Rungngangnae teh tami kahawihoehnaw koehoi ahla toungloung. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na phunglam hah tawng awh hoeh.
Salvation is far from sinners: for they have not searched out thine ordinances.
156 Oe BAWIPA ka kamcu e na lungmanae teh a len tangngak. Na lawkcengnae patetlah na pâhlaw haw.
Thy mercies, O Lord, are many: quicken me according to thy judgment.
157 Na ka pacekpahlek e hoi ka taran apap. Hatei, na panuesaknae teh ka phen hoeh.
Many are they that persecute me and oppress me: [but] I have not declined from thy testimonies.
158 Lawkkam kacakhoehnaw ka hmu nah, ka lung caca a pataw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na lawk tarawi ngai awh hoeh.
I beheld men acting foolishly, and I pined away; for they kept not thine oracles.
159 Nange phunglawknaw ka lungpatawnae heh na pouk pouh haw. Oe BAWIPA, na pahrenlungmanae patetlah na pâhlaw haw.
Behold, I have loved thy commandments, O Lord: quicken me in thy mercy.
160 Na lawk pueng teh lawkkatang doeh, kalan lah lawkcengnae teh, a yungyoe a kangning. Bawipa kâlawk tarawi han ka ngai
The beginning of thy words is truth; and all the judgments of thy righteousness [endure] for ever.
161 Bawinaw ni a khuekhaw awm laipalah na rektap awh. Hatei, ka lungthin teh kângaikaru na lawk dawkvah a kangdue.
Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of thy words.
162 Hnopai moi ka tawnta e patetlah na lawk ni ka konawm sak.
I will exult because of thine oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
163 Laithoe lawk teh ka hmuhma, ka panuet. Hatei, nange kâlawk teh ka ngai.
I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love thy law.
164 Na lawkcengnae a lan dawkvah, hnin touh dawk vaisari touh ka pholen.
Seven times in a day have I praised thee because of the judgments of thy righteousness.
165 Kâlawk ka lungpataw naw koe lungmawngnae kalen ao. Lungpout nahane awm hoeh.
Great peace have they that love thy law: and there is no stumbling-block to them.
166 BAWIPA, na rungngangnae heh ka ngaihawi. Na kâpoelawknaw hah ka tarawi.
I waited for thy salvation, O Lord, and have loved thy commandments.
167 Na panuesaknae heh ka hringnae ni a tarawi teh, ka lungpataw katang doeh.
My soul has kept thy testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
168 Na phunglawk hoi na lawkpanuesaknae teh ka tarawi. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka lamthung pueng teh na hmalah ao. TAU: Kabawp heinae ratoum
I have kept thy commandments and thy testimonies; for all my ways are before thee, O Lord.
169 Oe BAWIPA, ka hramnae lawk teh nang koe phat naseh. Na lawk patetlah thaipanueknae na poe haw.
Let my supplication come near before thee, o Lord; instruct me according to thine oracle.
170 Ka kâheinae teh nang koe phat naseh, na lawk patetlah na rungngang haw.
Let my petition come in before thee, O Lord; deliver me according to thine oracle.
171 Nange phunglawk hah na cangkhai dawkvah, ka pahni ni a pholen han.
Let my lips utter a hymn, when thou shalt have taught me thine ordinances.
172 Ka lai ni na lawk a dei han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nange kâpoelawknaw pueng teh lannae lah ao.
Let my tongue utter thine oracles; for all thy commandments are righteous.
173 Na kut teh na kabawmkung lah awm seh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na phunglawk hah ka rawi toe.
Let thine hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen thy commandments.
174 Oe BAWIPA, na rungngangnae teh ka rabui toungloung. Na kâpoelawk teh ka lunghawinae doeh.
I have longed after thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my (meditation)
175 Ka hringnae teh hring naseh. Na pholen han. Na lawkcengnae ni na ka bawm naseh.
My soul shall live, and shall praise thee; and thy judgments shall help me.
176 Tu kahmat e patetlah ka kahma. Na san heh na tawng haw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nange kâpoelawknaw teh ka pahnim hoeh.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I have not forgotten thy commandments.
