1 Kathutkung: Panuekhoeh, tami tangawn ni Hezekiah a ti awh BAWIPA ka kâuep e naw teh, kâhuen hoeh niteh, a yungyoe kangning e Zion mon patetlah ao han.

A Song of Degrees. They that trust in the Lord [shall be] as mount Sion: he that dwells in Jerusalem shall never be moved.

2 Monnaw ni Jerusalem a kalup e patetlah, BAWIPA ni a miphunnaw hah atuhoi pout laipalah a kalup.

The mountains are round about her, and [so] the Lord is round about his people, from henceforth and even for ever.

3 Tami kalannaw ni amamae kut hoi, kahawihoehe hno a sak awh hoeh nahanelah, tamikaponaw e sonron teh, tami kalannaw e râw talai dawk awm hanh naseh.

For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners to be upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous should stretch forth their hands to iniquity.

4 Oe BAWIPA, tami kahawinaw hoi tami kalannaw koe hawinae sak haw.

Do good, O Lord, to them [that are] good, and to them [that are] upright in heart.

5 Amamae dumyennae lam dawk ka cet e naw hateh, yonnae ka sak e naw hoi cungtalah, BAWIPA ni a pâlei han. Isarelnaw koe roumnae awm lawiseh.

But them that turn aside to crooked ways the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
