1 Nangmouh ni talai dawk na hring nathung na coe awh nahanelah, na mintoenaw ni a bawk awh e BAWIPA Cathut ni na poe e ram dawk na tarawi awh hane phunglawknaw hoi lawkcengnae hateh,
And these [are] the ordinances and the judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives you for an inheritance, all the days which ye live upon the land.
2 nangmouh ni na uk awh e miphunnaw ni, bawknae monnaw, monruinaw dawk e thingkungnaw rahim kaawm e cathutnaw hai thoseh, bawknae hmuen puenghai thoseh koung na raphoe pouh awh han.
Ye shall utterly destroy all the places in which they served their gods, whose [land] ye inherit, on the high mountains and on the hills, and under the thick tree.
3 Ahnimae thuengnae khoungroenaw hai na raphoe pouh han. Meikaphawknaw hai na raphoe pouh han. Asherimnaw hai hmai hoi na sawi pouh han. Ahnimae cathut kutsaknaw hah na tâtueng awh han. Hote hmuen dawk hote cathut min na raphoe awh han.
And ye shall destroy their altars, and break in pieces their pillars, and ye shall cut down their groves, and ye shall burn with fire the graven images of their gods, and ye shall abolish their name out of that place.
4 Hot patet lae hnonaw hno lahoi BAWIPA Cathut na bawk awh mahoeh.
Ye shall not do so to the Lord your God.
5 Hateiteh, BAWIPA Cathut ni na miphun thung hoi a min ao nahanelah, a rawi e hmuen hah na tawng awh vaiteh hote hmuen koe na cei awh han.
But in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose in one of your cities to name his name there, and to be called upon, ye shall even seek [him] out and go thither.
6 Hote hmuen koe nangmouh ni hmaisawi thuengnae naw hoi pung hra pung touh thueng e hno, kahek e hno lawkkamnae hoi kâkuen e thueng e hno, mahmawk sak e thueng e hno hoi maito, hmaloe ka khe e tunaw hah na thokhai awh han.
And ye shall carry thither your whole-burnt-offerings, and your sacrifices, and your first-fruits, and your vowed-offerings, and your freewill-offerings, and your offerings of thanksgiving, the first-born of your herds, and of your flocks.
7 Hote hmuen koe nangmae BAWIPA Cathut hmalah na ca awh han. Na sak nah tangkuem dawk nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni yawhawi na poe dawkvah, nangmouh teh, nama hoi na imthungnaw, na kut hoi na tawk e naw pueng dawkvah na lunghawi han.
And ye shall eat there before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all the things on which ye shall lay your hand, ye and your houses, as the Lord your God has blessed you.
8 Atu e tueng, hete hmuen koe na sak e patetlah hote hmuen koe tami pueng ma pouknae rumram hoi na sak awh mahoeh.
Ye shall not do altogether as we do here to-day, every man that which is pleasing in his own sight.
9 Bangkongtetpawiteh, nangmouh teh, kâhatnae ram dawk thoseh, nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni râw lah na poe e ram dawk thoseh, na kâen awh hoeh rah.
For hitherto ye have not arrived at the rest and the inheritance, which the Lord our God gives you.
10 Nangmouh teh Jordan palang na raka awh toteh, na coe awh hane nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni râw lah na poe e ram dawk na o awh vaiteh, tarannaw e kut dawk hoi nangmouh na rungngang teh karoumcalah na o awh han.
And ye shall go over Jordan, and shall dwell in the land, which the Lord our God takes as an inheritance for you; and he shall give you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye shall dwell safely.
11 A min ao nahanelah, nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni a rawi e hmuen haw vah ao han. Hote hmuen koe kai ni lawk na thui e patetlah nangmae hmaisawi thuengnae, satheinaw, pung hra pung touh, na kut hoi na sak e hnonaw, BAWIPA koe lawk na kam e patetlah lawkkam e naw pueng hah na thokhai awh han.
And there shall be a place which the Lord thy God shall choose for his name to be called there, thither shall ye bring all things that I order you to-day; your whole-burnt-offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the first-fruits of your hands, and every choice gift of yours, whatsoever ye shall vow to the Lord your God.
12 Namamouh hoi nangmae capanaw, canunaw, sanpanaw, sannunaw, râw pang hane ao hoeh dawkvah, nangmae longkha thung kaawm e Levihnaw hoi cungtalah nangmae BAWIPA Cathut hmalah na lunghawi awh han.
And ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God, ye and your sons, and your daughters, and your men-servants and your maid-servants, and the Levite that is at your gates; because he has no portion or inheritance with you.
13 Nangmouh teh, na hmu awh e hmuen pueng dawk hmaisawi thuengnae na sak awh hoeh nahanelah, na kâhruetcuet awh han.
Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy whole-burnt-offerings in any place which thou shalt see;
14 Hatei, nange miphun thung dawk hoi phun touh koe kaawm e BAWIPA ni a rawi e hmuen dawkvah hmaisawi thuengnae hah na sak han. Hote hmuen koevah, kai ni lawk na thui e naw pueng hah na sak awh han.
save in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, in one of thy tribes, there shall ye offer your whole-burnt-offerings, and there shalt thou do all things whatsoever I charge thee this day.
15 Hatnavah, BAWIPA Cathut ni yawhawi na poe e patetlah na onae kho tangkuem kaawm e na ca ngai e pueng na thei vaiteh longkha ca thainae kâ na tawn awh. Kathounge hoi kathounghoehe ni hai sayuk sakhi patetlah hote moi hah a ca thai.
But thou shalt kill according to all thy desire, and shalt eat flesh according to the blessing of the Lord thy God, which he has given thee in every city; the unclean that is within thee and the clean shall eat it on equal terms, as the doe or the stag.
16 Hatnavah, a thi na cat awh mahoeh. Tui rabawk e patetlah talai dawk na rabawk awh han.
Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it out on the ground as water.
17 Na kho thung kaawm e nange cakang, nange misurtui, nange satui, nange maito, nange tu camin, lawk na kam e nange lawkkam abuemlah, na mahmawk na poe hno, na kut hoi na sak e hno pung hra pung touh hah na cat mahoeh.
Thou shalt not be able to eat in thy cities the tithe of thy corn, and of thy wine, and of thine oil, the first-born of thine herd and of thy flock, and all [your] vows as many as ye shall have vowed, and your thank-offerings, and the first-fruits of thine hands.
18 Hatei, nama hoi cungtalah, nange capa, nange canu, nange sanpa, nange sannu, nange longkha thung kaawm e Levihnaw ni nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ma ni a rawi e hmuen koe nangmae BAWIPA Cathut e hmalah na ca awh han.
But before the Lord thy God thou shalt eat it, in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose for himself, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the stranger that is within thy gates; and thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, on whatsoever thou shalt lay thine hand.
19 Na ram thung na o awh roukrak, Levih miphunnaw na pahnim awh hoeh nahanelah kâhruetcuet awh.
Take heed to thyself that thou do not desert the Levite all the time that thou livest upon the earth.
20 Nange BAWIPA Cathut ni nang hanelah lawkkam e patetlah na ram ramri a kaw sak toteh, nang ni moi ka cat haw nei telah na ti vaiteh, na lungthin ni moi ca hane a ngai dawkvah, nang ni na lungngai e patetlah moi na ca han.
And if the Lord thy God shall enlarge thy borders, as he said to thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh; if thy soul should desire to eat flesh, thou shalt eat flesh according to all the desire of thy soul.
21 Nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni a min ao nahanelah na rawi pouh e hmuen teh, nang hoi hlatpoung pawiteh, nang koe ka dei e patetlah BAWIPA ni na poe e maito hoi tu hah na thei vaiteh, na longkha thungvah na lungngai patetlah na ca thai.
And if the place be far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose for himself, that his name be called upon it, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock which God shall have given thee, even as I commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy cities according to the desire of thy soul.
22 Sayuk sakhi moi na ca e patetlah hote moi hah na ca thai. Kathounge hoi kathounghoehe ni hai hote moi hah reirei a ca thai.
As the doe and the stag are eaten, so shalt thou eat it; the unclean in thee and the clean shall eat it in like manner.
23 A thi na ca awh hoeh nahanelah kâhruetcuet sak awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, thi teh hringnae doeh. Hringnae hoi a moi reirei na cat mahoeh.
Take diligent heed that thou eat no blood, for blood [is] the life of it; the life shall not be eaten with the flesh.
24 Na cat awh roeroe mahoeh. Tui rabawk e patetlah talai dawk na rabawk han.
Ye shall not eat [it]; ye shall pour it out on the ground as water.
25 Nang teh BAWIPA e hmalah kalan e hno hah na sak dawkvah, nang hoi cungtalah, na catounnaw hawinae na coe awh nahan, a thi hah na cat awh mahoeh.
Thou shalt not eat it, that it may be well with thee and with thy sons after thee, if thou shalt do that which is good and pleasing before the Lord thy God.
26 Nang dawk kaawm e kathounge hnonaw hoi nange lawkkamnaw dueng hah na sin vaiteh, BAWIPA ni a rawi e hmuen koe na cet awh.
But thou shalt take thy holy things, if thou hast any, and thy vowed-offerings, and come to the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to have his name named upon it.
27 A moi hoi a thi na kalawt vaiteh, nange BAWIPA Cathut e hmaisawi thuengnae khoungroe van na thueng han. Sathei e a thi hah nange BAWIPA Cathut e thuengnae khoungroe van na awi vaiteh, a moi hah na ca han.
And thou shalt sacrifice thy whole-burnt-offerings, thou shalt offer the flesh upon the altar of the Lord thy God; but the blood of thy sacrifices thou shalt pour out at the foot of the altar of the Lord thy God, but the flesh thou shalt eat.
28 Nange BAWIPA Cathut hmalah kahawi ni teh kalan e hno na sak dawkvah, nang hoi na catounnaw hoi cungtalah, hawinae pou na coe awh nahan, nang koe kâ na poe e hete lawknaw hah na tarawi nahanelah kâhruetcuet loe.
Beware and hearken, and thou shalt do all the commands which I charge thee, that it may be well with thee and with thy sons for ever, if thou shalt do that which is pleasing and good before the Lord thy God.
29 Na cei vaiteh na coe hane ram dawk kaawm e miphunnaw hah, nange BAWIPA Cathut ni na hmalah a raphoe toteh, nang ni ahnimanaw hah na pâlei vaiteh, ahnimae ram dawk kho na sak han.
And if the Lord thy God shall utterly destroy the nations, to whom thou goest in thither to inherit their land, from before thee, and thou shalt inherit it, and dwell in their land;
30 Na hmalah ahnimouh a rawk awh hnukkhu, ahnimouh ni a sak awh e patetlah na sak awh teh na yon awh hoeh nahanelah, hete miphunnaw ni amamae cathut hah bangtelamaw a bawk awh, kai hai hottelah ka bawk van han telah dei teh, ahnimae cathut kong pacei hoeh nahanelah mahoima kâhruetcuet loe.
take heed to thyself that thou seek not to follow them after they are destroyed before thee, saying, How do these nations act towards their gods? I will do likewise.
31 Ahnimouh ni a sak awh e patetlah na BAWIPA Cathut koe na sak awh mahoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, BAWIPA Cathut ni a ngaihoeh e panuettho e hno hah amamae cathut koe a sak awh teh, amamae capanaw hoi canunaw patenghai amamae cathut hanelah hmai a sawi awh.
Thou shalt not do so to thy God; for they have sacrificed to their gods the abominations of the Lord which he hates, for they burn their sons and their daughters in fire to their gods.
32 Nang teh kai ni kâ na poe e pueng hah na sak nahanelah na kâhruetcuet han. Nang ni bout thapsin hanh, bout rayu hanh.
Every word that I command you this day, it shalt thou observe to do: thou shalt not add to it, nor diminish from it.
