1 Hatdawkvah, nang teh na BAWIPA na Cathut lungpataw han, kâ na poe e phunglawk, lawkcengnae hoi kâpoelawknaw hah pou na tarawi han.
Therefore thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and shalt observe his appointments, and his ordinances, and his commandments, and his judgments, always.
2 Nange BAWIPA ni na toun awh e hai thoseh, a lentoenae thoseh, a thaonae kut a dâw e thoseh,
And ye shall know this day; for [I speak] not to your children, who know not and have not seen the discipline of the Lord thy God, and his wonderful works, and his strong hand, and his high arm,
3 mitnoutnae thoseh, Izip ram dawk, Izip siangpahrang, Faro siangpahrang hoi khocanaw koe a sak e hno hai thoseh,
and his miracles, and his wonders, which he wrought in the midst of Egypt on Pharao king of Egypt, and all his land;

9 Na mintoe hoi catounnaw koe poe hane BAWIPA ni lawk a kam e ramnaw dawk, moikasawlah kho na sak a thai nahan, a tu kâ na poe e kâ lawknaw pueng na tarawi a han.
that ye may live long upon the land, which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, and to their seed after them, a land flowing with milk and honey.
10 Nangmouh ni na cei awh teh na coe a hane ram laikawk patetlah cati ka hei teh khok hoi tui awi e ram nangmouh na tâconae Izip ram hoi kâ van hoeh.
For the land into which thou goest to inherit it, is not as the land of Egypt, whence ye came out, whensoever they sow the seed, and water it with their feet, as a garden of herbs:
11 Nangmouh ni na cei awh teh na coe awh hane ram teh monnaw, tanghlingnaw hoi a kawi vaiteh, kho ratui hah ka net e ram.
but the land into which thou goest to inherit it, is a land of mountains and plains; it shall drink water of the rain of heaven.
12 BAWIPA cathut ni a khetyawt e kum touh thung a khetyawt e ram doeh.
A land which the Lord thy God surveys continually, the eyes of the Lord thy God are upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
13 Nangmae BAWIPA Cathut hah na lungthin abuemlahoi, na hringnae abuem lahoi lungpataw awh. A thaw na tawk awh nahanelah, sahnin kai ni kâ na poe e naw kâpoelawknaw hah na tarawi awh pawiteh,
Now if ye will indeed hearken to all the commands which I charge thee this day, to love the Lord thy God, and to serve him with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
14 nangmouh teh cakang, misurtui, satuinaw hah na pâkhueng sak nahanelah, ratui kho, a hnukteng e kho hah nangmae ram ka rak sak han.
then he shall give to thy land the early and latter rain in its season, and thou shalt bring in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
15 Kaboumcalah na ca nahan, na saringnaw han remke dawk hram kanaw e ka sai sak han.
And he shall give food in thy fields to thy cattle; and when thou hast eaten and art full,
16 Nangmouh teh kahawihoehe koe lah na lungthin na kamlang awh vaiteh, Cathut alouknaw na bawk awh hoeh nahan namamouh kâhruetcuet awh.
take heed to thyself that thy heart be not puffed up, and ye transgress, and serve other gods, and worship them:
17 Hoehpawiteh BAWIPA a lungkhuek vaiteh, khorak laipalah talai dawk a pawhik tâcawt laipalah, kalvan hah a khan han. BAWIPA ni na poe e kahawipoung e ram dawk karangpoung lah na kahmakata awh han.
and the Lord be angry with you, and restrain the heaven; and there shall not be rain, and the earth shall not yield its fruit, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land, which the Lord has given you.
18 Hatdawkvah, kai ni ka dei e lawk hah na lung dawk pâkuem nateh, nout nahan na kut dawk nout hanelah na kawm awh vaiteh, na mit rahak e rui patetlah na kawm awh han.
And ye shall store these words in your heart and in your soul, and ye shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and it shall be fixed before your eyes.
19 Hote lawk hah nangmouh ni im dawk na tahung nah thoseh, lam na cei nahai thoseh, na i na thaw nahai thoseh na dei awh vaiteh, na canaw hai na cangkhai awh han.
And ye shall teach them to your children, so as to speak about them when thou sittest in the house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou sleepest, and when thou risest up.
20 Im takhang dawk hai thoseh, longkha dawk hai thoseh na thut awh han.
And ye shall write them on the lintels of your houses, and on your gates;
21 Hottelah na sak awh pawiteh, na mintoenaw ka poe hanelah lawk ka kam e ram dawk nangmae hringnae, na canaw hringnae, kalvan hring sawnae patetlah talai van a hring a saw awh han.
that your days may be long, and the days of your children, upon the land which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22 Nangmouh teh namamae BAWIPA Cathut hah lungpatawnae hoi a lamthung dawk na dawn awh vaiteh, BAWIPA dawk na kâhnai thai nahan kai ni lawk na poe e hete kâpoelawk pueng hah tawksak hanlah kâhruetcuet lahoi na tarawi awh pawiteh,
And it shall come to pass that if ye will indeed hearken to all these commands, which I charge thee to observe this day, to love the Lord our God, and to walk in all his ways, and to cleave close to him;
23 BAWIPA ni miphunnaw pueng hah nangmae hmalah hoi be pâlei vaiteh, nangmouh hlak athakaawme kapappoung e miphunnaw hah na uk awh han.
then the Lord shall cast out all these nations before you, and ye shall inherit great nations and stronger than yourselves.
24 Nangmouh ni na khok hoi na coungroe e pueng namamouh hanlah na la awh vaiteh, kahrawng hoi kamtawng vaiteh, Lebanon mon totouh Euphrates tuipui hoi kamtawng teh, talîpui totouh thoseh, pou kâbet e talai hah nangmae ram lah ao han.
Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be your; from the wilderness and Antilibanus, and from the great river, the river Euphrates, even as far as the west sea shall be your coasts.
25 Nangmae hmalah apihai kangdout thai mahoeh. Nangmouh ni na coungroe e hmuen dawk kaawm e naw teh, nangmanaw hah na taki awh vaiteh, nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni, lawk a kam e patetlah a sak han.
No one shall stand before you; and the Lord your God will put the fear of you and the dread of you on the face of all the land, on which ye shall tread, as he told you.
26 Khenhaw! Sahnin vah nangmae hmalah yawhawinae hoi thoebonae ka hruek.
Behold, I set before you this day the blessing and the curse;
27 Sahnin ka dei e nangmae BAWIPA Cathut e kâpoelawknaw hah na tarawi awh pawiteh, Yawhawi poenae,
the blessing, if ye hearken to the commands of the Lord your God, all that I command you this day;
28 nangmae BAWIPA Cathut e kâpoelawknaw na tarawi laipalah, sahnin lawk na thui e lamthung dawk hoi na phen awh teh, na panue boihoeh e alouke cathut hah na bawk awh pawiteh, thoebo lah na o awh han.
and the curse, if ye do not hearken to the commands of the Lord our God, as many as I command you this day, and ye wander from the way which I have commanded you, having gone to serve other gods, which ye know not.
29 Nangmouh ni na cei awh teh, na coe awh hane ram BAWIPA Cathut ni na kâenkhai awh toteh, yawhawinae teh Gerizim mon dawk na hruek awh vaiteh, thoebonae teh Ebal vah na hruek awh han.
And it shall come to pass when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land into which thou goest over to inherit it, then thou shalt put blessing on mount Garizin, and the curse upon mount Gaebal.
30 Hote monnaw teh, Jordan tuipui kanîloumlah, Kanaannaw a onae Moreh kathenkungnaw, Gilgal khopui, hoi kâkuen e na ram dawk ao awh nahoehmaw.
Lo! are not these beyond Jordan, behind, westward in the land of Chanaan, which lies westward near Golgol, by the high oak?
31 Nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni na poe awh e ram hah na coe awh hanlah, Jordan tuipui namran lah na raka awh vaiteh, hote ram hah na coe awh vaiteh, na o awh han.
For ye are passing over Jordan, to go in and inherit the land, which the Lord our God gives you to inherit always, and ye shall dwell in it.
32 Sahnin nangmae hmalah ka hruek e phunglawk hoi lawkcengnae pueng na hringkhai awh han han.
And ye shall take heed to do all his ordinances, and these judgments, as many as I set before you to-day.
