< Rome 14 >

1 Tahsanna'a lhasam midang tahsan chanpi khat chu sanguvin, chule alunggel dih hen, dih hih jongleh kinelpi hih un.
Welcome a man of weak faith, but not for the purpose of deciding doubtful points.
2 Vetsahnan, mikhat'in ipi hijongleh nehthei ahi tin gel'in te. Hinla tahsan cha adang khat chun se le pha hetna alunggel thua anun jeh chun anche hing bou nen te.
One man has faith to eat anything; but he whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.
3 Ipi hita jongleh nehthei ahi tiho chun anelou ho chu musit dauhen, ajehchu Pathen in amaho chu alah cheh-u ahiye.
He who eats meat must not despise the man who abstains; and let not the man who abstains judge him who eats; for God has received him.
4 Nang koi nahi a midang sohho themmo nachan thei ding ham? Amaho apakai pauvin adindohna diu hihen, alhuhkamna diu hijongleh athu hintan nante. Chule Pakai panpina jal'a, amaho dingdet uva chule apachatna changdiu ahi.
Who are you just that judges the household-servant of another? To his own lord he stands or falls. And stand he will, for his Master has power to make him stand.
5 Chutima chun, mi koihamkhat chun nikho khat chu nikho dang sanga theng jon koiyintin, michom dang ho vang'in nikho jouse kibang in gelunte. Nangho khat cheh in ipi nikho hijongleh nalhen'u chu lahthei ding dol hijeng ah ahi.
There are some who esteem one day above another; there are others who esteem all days alike; let each other be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 Nikho jatchom beh khat Pakai houna a mangho chun Ama jana a achutiman'u ahi. Ipipen anneh hijongleh nea chun Pakai jabolna'a aneh ahi, ajehchu amahon aneh masanguva Pathen athangvah-u ahitai. Chule abangloi khat chun anneh anehlou loi umsah unte; ahin amaho jong chun Pakai alunglhai nomjeh uva abol'u ahin, Pathen athangvah nau ahi.
He who regards the day, regards it unto his Lord; and he who regards it not, disregards it unto his Lord. He who eats meat, eats unto his Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who abstains, abstains unto his Lord, since he, too, gives God thanks.
7 Ajehchu eiho eima ho chang dinga hinga ihi pouvin, ahilouleh eiho chang dinga thi ding ihipouve.
For not one of us lives unto himself, and not one dies unto himself.
8 Ahin, ihinuleh Pakai jabolna'a hin ding, chule ithi uva ahi jongleh Pakai jabolna a thi ding ahi. Hijeh chun eiho hingu hitin, ahilouleh thi jongleu hen, Pakaiya ihiuve.
If we live, we live unto our Lord; if we die, we die unto our Lord. So then, whether we live or die, we belong to our Lord.
9 Hijeh a chu Christa chu ahing nalaiho leh athisaho Pakai ahi theina dinga khatvei ana thia chule thoudoh kit ahi.
For this purpose Christ died and became alive again, that he might be the Lord both of the dead and of the living.
10 Hijehchun, ipi atileh nangman tahsanna neimikhat chu themmo nachan thei ham? Ipi jeh a tahsanna nei mikhat chu namusit ham? Eiho ibonchauva Pathen thutanna anga ding ding ihicheh uve tihi geldoh in.
But you the abstainer, why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you again the non-abstainer, why do you despise yours? For we shall all stand before the judgment-seat of God.
11 Ajehchu Pathen thun, “Pakaiyin kahinna a kahahsel ahi. Khup jouse Ka-angsunga hung dilsu cheh dingu, chule lei jousen Pakai aphondoh uva chule avahchoi dingu ahi,” ati.
For it is written, "As I live," says the Lord, "to me every knee shall bow, And to God shall every tongue confess."
12 Henge, eiho khatcheh in eima chung chang thu Pathen koma iphon cheh dingu ahi.
So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13 Hijeh chun khat le khat ki-oimotona neitapou hite. Hisang chun tahsan kibahpi michomkhat kipalna le lhuhna neisah pouhite.
So let us no longer pass judgment on one another; rather let this be your judgment, that no one put a stumbling-block in his brother’s way, nor any cause of falling.
14 Keiman Pakai Yeshua thuneina le hetkhenna kanei jal'in ipi hitaleh hiche neh ding dol chu neh aphatmona kaum sahpoi. Hinlah mikhat touvin hichu aphapoi ti atahsan'a ahileh ama dinga chu phamoa ahi.
I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is in itself unclean; but any food is "unclean" for one who considers it "unclean."
15 Chule sopi khat chu nangma anneh jeh a alunglhah a, hichu nangman naneh teitei leh, ngailutna neiya chon nahilou ahitai. Nathil neh jeh chun a-dinga Christa thisa khat chu sumang go hih in.
If your brother is continually pained because of your food, you are not conducting yourself any longer in love. Do not, by what you eat, persist in destroying a man for whom Christ died.
16 Chujongleh nangman pha dinga natahsan chung changa koiman nagel hoimo taponte.
Therefore do not let what is right, so far as you are concerned, be evil spoken of.
17 Ajeh chu Pathen Lenggam chu neh le don thujengbou hipontin, chusang a phatna le cham-lungmonna, chule Lhagaothenga kipana hinkho man'a joh hiding ahi.
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18 Hitia lung ngaitoa Christa lhachana toh'a, Pathen lunglhai ding, chule midangin nanatoh chu aphatna aphondoh dingu ahi.
Those who are slaving for Christ devotedly in these ways, are well pleasing to God and highly commended by man.
19 Hiti ahijeh chun, houbung sunga kilung hetthemna le khatle khat kisadohtoa umna ding lunggut uhite.
So then let is eagerly pursue the things that make for peace and the upbuilding of each other.
20 Naneh jaljeh in Pathen natoh chu suse hih-un. Geldoh un, an jouse hi nehthei cheh ahi, hinla tahsannei midang khat kipalna ding ahileh, hichu dihlou ahi.
Do not, for the sake of food, be tearing down God’s work. All food indeed is ceremonially clean, but a man is in the wrong if his food proves a stumbling-block.
21 Saneh ahilouleh judon ahilouleh imadang bol chun atahsan khat akipalsah ding'a ahileh bollou chu phajoa ahi.
The right course is not to eat meat, nor to drink wine, nor to do anything through which your brother is made to stumble.
22 Nangman ipi nabol thudol'a ima asetna aumpoi tin tahsan'innate, hinla hichu nangma tahle Pathen kikah thua koiyin. Koi hileh aphai tiagela abolna chunga ki-oimona lungthim neilouho chu anunnom ahiuve.
Have you faith? Keep it to yourself as in the presence of God. He is a happy man who does not condemn himself in that which he approves.
23 Hinlah nangman thilkhat chu nehding ham, hilou ham ti thudol'a lungsa-ihna naneiya, hichun aneh teitei a ahileh achonsea nahitai. Ajehchu nangman natahsan chu najuilou ahi tai. Hijehchun, nangman adihpoi tia nagelkhat chu nabol'a ahileh achonsea nahitai.
But he who has misgivings, and yet eats meat, is condemned already, because his action is not based on faith; and whatever is not based on faith is sin.
