1 Pakai ka chunguva thilsoh ho hi hingeldoh temin, ven ichan geija vetset ka chan’u hitam?
Remember, O YHWH, what has befallen us, Look attentively, and see our reproach.
2 Ka goulo diu chengse hi namchom miho achang tauvin, Ka in ka lou jouseu la gamchom miho’a ahitai.
Our inheritance has been turned to strangers, Our houses to foreigners.
3 Keiho hi nunei lou panei lou kahi tauvin, kanuteu jong meithai ahi gam tauve.
Orphans we have been—without a father, our mothers [are] as widows.
4 Ka dondiu twi jeng jong kakichoh thu diuvin aumdoh tan, Ti ding thing jeng jong kakichoh thudiu ahitai.
We have drunk our water for money, Our wood comes for a price.
5 Eihin nungdelteuvin eihin phah pai dingu ahitan, Keiho ka haisam tauvin, ahinlah kingahna ding mun ka neipouve.
For our neck we have been pursued, We have labored—there has been no rest for us.
6 Neh leh chah ning lhinga kanei jouseu, Ka kihinso jou nadiuvin Egypt leh Asssyria khutna ka kipelut tauvin ahi.
[To] Egypt we have given a hand, [To] Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.
7 Kapu kapateu ana chonseuvin ahinlah amaho athi gamtauve, Hijeh chun amaho chan ding thoh gimna leh engbolna hi keiho chunga achu tan ahi.
Our fathers have sinned—they are not, We have borne their iniquities.
8 Ka sohteu chu tun keiho Pakaiyin apang gamtauvin, ahinlah koima eihuhdoh diu aum pon ahi.
Servants have ruled over us, There is no deliverer from their hand.
9 Gamsun’a pum hatin vai ahop jeh'in thiding kicha pum pumin anneh kakiholun ahi.
With our lives we bring in our bread, Because of the sword of the wilderness.
10 Kel khoh jeh'in ka vousou tapkonga changlhah kikang bangin avom gam tai.
Our skin as an oven has been burning, Because of the raging of the famine.
11 Kagal miteuvin Jerusalema numei ho Judah khosunga nungah khang dong ho kichep nan anei gamtauve.
Wives in Zion they have humbled, Virgins—in cities of Judah.
12 Ka lengteu jong akhutpiuvin akhaisangun, Ka lamkaiteu jong noise tahin ei bolpeh tauvin ahi.
Princes have been hanged by their hand, Elderly faces have not been honored.
13 Gollhang ho chu sumhei goi dingin akaimangun, chuleh pasal chapang ho chu tiding thing aputsahnauva a lonlele jeng tauvin ahi.
They have taken young men to grind, And youths have stumbled with wood.
14 Lamkai ho khopi kelkot ngahin apang tapouve. Khangthahten lam leh la sah abol tapouvin ahi.
Elderly have ceased from the gate, Young men from their song.
15 Kana lam nao chu lung khamna asohdoh tan, Ka lungsunguva kipana abeitai.
The joy of our heart has ceased, Our dancing has been turned to mourning.
16 Ka luchang uva konin ka lallukhuhu alhamang gam tai. Ka chonset jeh'un ka chung uva sapsetna achu tai.
The crown has fallen [from] our head, Woe [is] now to us, for we have sinned.
17 Hijeh hin kalungu alhalhop tan chuleh kamit uvah mitlhi adimtan ahi.
Our heart has been sick for this, Our eyes have been dim for these.
18 Ajehchu Jerusalem hi akeosehin aki jam tan, Sialten lhat nan anei tauve.
For the Mount of Zion—that is desolate, Foxes have gone up on it.
19 Ahinlah Pakai nangma abang na hi jing jeng e, nalal touna chu akhang khangin aum jing e.
You, O YHWH, remain for all time, Your throne to generation and generation.
20 Ipi dinga nei suhmil jing nahlaiyu ham? Ipi dinga donlou dai louva neikoi nahlaiyu ham?
Why do You forget us forever? You forsake us for [the] length of [our] days!
21 O Pakai neikiledohsah kitnun lang nangma komma nei puilut kittauvin! Ka kipanao masa chu neipe kittaovin!
Turn us back, O YHWH, to You, And we turn back, renew our days as of old.
22 Ahilou leh neipui doh mong mong diu hitam? Ole Ka chunguva nalung hangjing nalai ham?
For have You utterly rejected us? You have been angry against us—exceedingly?
