< 2 Korin 1 >
1 Khawsa kawngaihnaak amyihna Jesu Khrih a ceityih na ak awm Paul ingkaw ningnih a naa Timote ing, Korin khaw awhkaw ak awm thlangboel ingkaw, Akhaia qam khuiawh ak awm thlakciimkhqi boeih a venawh:
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
2 Ningmih a Pa Khawsa ven ingkaw Boei Jesu Khrih a ven awhkaw qeennaak ingkaw ngaihdingnaak awm seh.
Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Ningmih a Bawipa Jesu Khrih a Pa ingkaw ngaihdingnaak boeih a Pa Khawsa venawh thangleeknaak awm seh,
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Khawsa venawh kawng ni huh ngaihdingnaak ingkaw kyinaak ak hukhqi ce ngaihdingnaak awi nik kqawn peeknaak thai aham, kyinaak boeih awh amah ing ngaihdingnaak ce ni pehy.
Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 Khrih ak khuikha a huhnaak ce ningnih a hqingnaak awh ang lawng lawt amyihna, Khrih ak caming ngaihdingnaak awm lawng law lawt hy.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ.
6 Kawseet ngaihkyinaak ham ingkaw hulnaak ahamni; kaimih ka mingngaih a ding awhtaw, nangmih naming ngaih a dingnaak aham ingkaw hulnaak ahamni; ce ing ce kaimih ing ka ming yh kyinaak ce yh thainaak ni pek khqi hy.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 Nangmih aham kaimih ang ngaih-unaak ve cak hy, kaimih ak khuikhanaak nami ni qup pyi adawngawh, kaimih a ngaihdingnaak awm ni qup pyi lawt kawm uk ti.
And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.
8 Koeinaakhqi, Asia qam awh kyinaak kami huh ce a sim kaana nami awm aham am ngaih unyng. Am kami yh thai dyna, khuikhanaak ce thihhlo dyna yh unyng.
For we would not, brothers, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life:
9 Kak kawk khuiawh taw thihnaak hu hawh kawng unyng, tinawh poek unyng. Cehlai ka mimah awh ang hang kaana, thlakthi ak thawhkung Khawsa awh ka ming hangnaak thai ahamni vemyihna a awm.
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead:
10 Anih ing cemyih thihpit dyna awmnaak awhkawng ni loet sak khqi hy, haiben awh awm ni loet sak hyn bai kaw. Anih ing ni loet sak khqi bai kaw, tinawh ngaih-unaak ce ak khanawh ta unyng,
Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11 nangmih ing cykcahnaak ing ni bawm uhyk ti. Thlang khawzah ak cykcahnaak ce am qeennaak ak caming thung na a awm a dawngawh kaimih ang zyngna thlang khawzah ing zeelnaak awi kqawn kawm uh.
You also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed on us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
12 Ve ve kaimih a zoeksangnaak na awm hy: ka mimah awhkaw ak che ak leek simnaak kawlung ing Khawsa ven awhkaw ciimcaihnaak, kawlung tang ing khawmdek awh, awipui na nangmih mi tuqunaak awh ak nep na khaw sa unyng tice ni sim sak hy. Khawmdek cyihnaak ing cemyihna bi am bi unyng saw Khawsa am qeennaak ak caming ni.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
13 Ikawtih nangmih ing am nami noet thai ingkaw am naming zaksim ce am qee law nyng.
For we write none other things to you, than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you shall acknowledge even to the end;
14 Kaimih ve ak kek am tai awm nami ning zaksim hawh dawngawh, Bawipa Jesu a nyn awh nangmih awh ka zoeksang qu aham a awm amyihna, kaimih awh awm nangmih zoeksang qu kawm uk ti, tice ak soep cana zasim bit kawm uk ti tinawh ngaih-u unyng.
As also you have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
15 Ikawtih vawhkaw yp qunaak ka taak dawngawh, nangmih hih voei na nami hawihkhangnaak ham, lamma na nangmih a venawh law aham cai nyng.
And in this confidence I was minded to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit;
16 Makedonia na ka ceh awh nangmih hqip pahoei aham cai nyng, cekcoengawh Makedonia awhkawng nangmih a venna law tlaih aham cai nyng, cawhkawng Judah dyna nangmih ing ni thak uh, ti nyng.
And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia to you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.
17 Vemyihna kang cai awh, a zanghoep cana nu kang cai? Kang hqi ing, “Oeih, oeih” am awhtaw “Am, am” ka tinaak ham khawmdek phung na nu kang cai?
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yes yes, and no no?
18 Cehlai Khawsa taw a yp a awm dawngawh, kaimih ak awithang ve nangmih a venawh, “Oeih” ingkaw “Am” amni.
But as God is true, our word toward you was not yes and no.
19 Ikawtih Khawsa Capa, Jesu Khrih, nangmih a venawh kai, Sila ingkaw Timote mi ing kamik khypyi ce, “Am” ingkaw “Oeih” amni, Cehlai amah awhtaw a poepa na “Oeih” na awm hy.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yes and no, but in him was yes.
20 Ikawtih Khawsa ing iqyt awi taaknaak sai mai seiawm, Khrih awh cemyihkhqi boeih ce “Oeih” na awm hy. Anih ak caming Khawsa thangleeknaak aham ningnih ing “Amen” ni ti uhy.
For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen, to the glory of God by us.
21 Khawsa ing ni kaimih ingkaw nangmih ve Khrih awh ak cak na a ning dyih sak khqi. Anih ing situi ni syp khqi nawh,
Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God;
22 amah a koena ni awmnaak tacik ce ni deng sih khqi nawh, Ciim Myihla ce nipek khqi hy.
Who has also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Nangmih hlyn aham ka ngaih awh ni Korin khaw na am kang hlat hy, tice anik sim pyikung na Khawsa ta nyng.
Moreover I call God for a record on my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet to Corinth.
24 Nangmih ak cangnaak awh ak cak na naming dyih dawngawh, nangmih a zeelnaak ahamni nangmih mi bi ni bi haih uh hy.
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith you stand.
