1 David kah Koehnah Kai kah Pathen Manghai namah te kan pomsang saeh lamtah, kumhal duela na ming ni ka uem yoeyah eh.
“A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Khohnin takuem ah nang kang uem vetih na ming te kumhal duela ka thangthen yoeyah ni.
Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 BOEIPA tah len tih muep thangthen pai saeh. A lennah te khenah om pawh.
Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Cadilcahm a kah cadilcahma duela na bibi te a domyok sak vetih na thayung thamal te a thui uh ni.
One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
5 Na rhuepomnah, na thangpomnah, na mueithennah neh na ol khobaerhambae ni ka lolmang puei eh.
On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
6 Te dongah na tlungalnah rhih om te a thui uh vaengah na lennah phoeikah na lennah te ka tae eh.
And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
7 Na thennah muep poekkoepnah te a phuet uh vetih, na duengnah te a tamhoe puei uh ni.
The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
8 Lungvatnah neh thinphoei BOEIPA tah a thintoek a ueh dongah a sitlohnah khaw len.
Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
9 BOEIPA tah a cungkuem taengah then tih a haidamnah khaw a khoboe boeih soah tueng.
The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
10 Na bibi boeih loh BOEIPA namah n'uem uh vetih na hlangcim rhoek loh namah n'koeh uh ni.
All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
11 Na ram kah thangpomnah a ti uh vetih na thayung thamal te a thui uh ni.
Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
12 A thayung thamal neh a ram rhuepomnah dongkah thangpomnah hlang koca rhoek taengah ming sak ham ni.
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Na ram khaw kumhal boeih kah ram la om tih ni na khohung khaw cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma boeih duela cak.
Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
14 Aka cungku boeih te BOEIPA loh a talong tih aka duengyai boeih te a sambai.
The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
15 Mik boeih loh namah te n'lamso uh tih amah tue vaengah a caak te amih taengah na paek.
The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
16 Na kut te na hlam tih mulhing boeih taengah kolonah na cung sak.
Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 A longpuei boeih dongah BOEIPA tah dueng tih a bibi boeih dongah cim.
Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
18 Amah aka khue boeih taeng neh oltak la amah aka khue boeih taengah BOEIPA he a yoei pah.
The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
19 Amah aka rhih rhoek kah kolonah te a saii pah tih amih kah a pang te a yaak dongah amih te a khang.
The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
20 Amah aka lungnah rhoek boeih te BOEIPA loh a ngaithuen. Tedae halang rhoek boeih te tah a mitmoeng sak ni.
The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 BOEIPA koehnah ka ka loh thui saeh lamtah pumsa boeih loh a ming cim te kumhal duela yoethen pae yoeyah saeh.
The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
