1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. Gittih baktiah sak koi Korah caanawk ih Saam laa. Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, na ohhaih kahni im loe kawkruk maw palung han oh!
To the Overseer. — 'On the Gittith By sons of Korah.' — A Psalm. How beloved Thy tabernacles, Jehovah of Hosts!
2 Ue, Angraeng ih longhmaa to dawn loiah, ka hinghaih loe zaisut boeh; ka palungthin hoi ka ngan mah kahing Sithaw to kawk.
My soul desired, yea, it hath also been consumed, For the courts of Jehovah, My heart and my flesh cry aloud unto the living God,
3 Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, ka Siangpahrang hoi ka Sithaw, ue, na hmaicam ah, paritca mah tabu sak, a caa khaek haih hanah, pungpae mah tabu to boh.
(Even a sparrow hath found a house, And a swallow a nest for herself, Where she hath placed her brood, ) Thine altars, O Jehovah of Hosts, My king and my God.
4 Na im ah kaom kaminawk loe tahamhoih o; nang to saphaw o poe tih. (Selah)
O the happiness of those inhabiting Thy house, Yet do they praise Thee. (Selah)
5 Nang ah thacakhaih tawn kaminawk loe tahamhoih o; to kaminawk loe na loklam bangah palungthin to suek o.
O the happiness of a man whose strength is in Thee, Highways [are] in their heart.
6 Nihcae Baca azawn ah caeh o naah, tuibap tui to takaeh o; khotui mah tui hoiah koisak.
Those passing through a valley of weeping, A fountain do make it, Blessings also cover the director.
7 Nihcae loe thacak o aep, Zion ih kaminawk loe Sithaw hmaa ah angphong o boih.
They go from strength unto strength, He appeareth unto God in Zion.
8 Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw, lawk ka thuihaih hae tahngai ah; aw Jakob Sithaw, tahngai rae ah.
O Jehovah, God of Hosts, hear my prayer, Give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
9 Khenah, Aw Sithaw kaicae abuephaih, nangmah na caksak kami ih mikhmai to khen ah.
Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Thine anointed,
10 Ahmuen kalah bangah saning sangto oh pongah loe, nangmah ih longhmaa ah nito oh hae hoih kue. Kasae kaminawk ih kahni im ah oh pongah loe, ka Angraeng im thungah thok toepkung ah ka oh khoek roek han.
For good [is] a day in Thy courts, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.
11 Angraeng Sithaw loe ni hoi abuephaih ah oh; Angraeng mah tahmenhaih hoi lensawkhaih to paek tih; loklam katoengah caeh kaminawk hanah loe hmuen kahoih roe paawt pae mak ai.
For a sun and a shield [is] Jehovah God, Grace and honour doth Jehovah give. He withholdeth not good To those walking in uprightness.
12 Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, nang oephaih tawn kami loe tahamhoih.
Jehovah of Hosts! O the happiness of a man trusting in Thee.
