1 Asaph ih Saam laa. Aw Sithaw, angam duem hmah; aw Sithaw, om sut hmah loe, om duem hmah.
A Song, — A Psalm of Asaph. O God, let there be no silence to Thee, Be not silent, nor be quiet, O God.
2 Na misanawk loe savaih o; nang hnuma kaminawk kawbangmaw lu to padoengh o tahang, tito khen ah.
For, lo, Thine enemies do roar, And those hating Thee have lifted up the head,
3 Nihcae loe nang ih kaminawk aling hanah thuih o moe, na buepsak ih kaminawk naeh hanah lok aram o.
Against Thy people they take crafty counsel, And consult against Thy hidden ones.
4 Nihcae mah, Angzo oh, nihcae to acaeng ah ohhaih thung hoiah anghmasak ving si; Israel ahmin to mi mah doeh panoek mak ai boeh, tiah thuih o.
They have said, 'Come, And we cut them off from [being] a nation, And the name of Israel is not remembered any more.'
5 Palung maeto amhonghaih hoiah lok a thuih o; na lok to aek hanah maeto ah angcuu o:
For they consulted in heart together, Against Thee a covenant they make,
6 Edom ih kahni imnawk hoi Ishmael ih caanawk, Moab kaminawk hoi Hagar ih kaminawk;
Tents of Edom, and Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagarenes,
7 Gebal kaminawk, Ammon kaminawk hoi Amelek kaminawk, Philistia kaminawk hoi Tura vangpui kaminawk;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with inhabitants of Tyre,
8 Assyria kaminawk doeh nihcae khaeah athum o; nihcae mah Lot ih caanawk to abomh.
Asshur also is joined with them, They have been an arm to sons of Lot. (Selah)
9 Midian kaminawk nuiah na sak ih baktih, Sisera kaminawk hoi Kishon tava ah Jabin kaminawk khaeah na sak ih baktih toengah, nihcae nuiah sah toeng ah,
Do to them as [to] Midian, As [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the stream Kishon.
10 nihcae loe En Dor ah amro o boih moe, long nuiah panuet thok ah ni oh o boih boeh.
They were destroyed at Endor, They were dung for the ground!
11 Nihcae ih kalen kaminawk to Oreb hoi Zeeb baktiah sah ah; ue, angmacae angraeng ih caanawk to Zebah hoi Zalmunna baktiah omsak ah,
Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb, And as Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes,
12 nihcae mah, Sithaw ih imnawk to aimacae hanah la si, tiah a thuih o.
Who have said, 'Let us occupy for ourselves The comely places of God.'
13 Aw ka Sithaw, nihcae to takhi mah pahae ih anghnoeng baktiah omsak ah loe, takhi mah hmuh ih tavai baktiah angcoengsak ah.
O my God, make them as a rolling thing, As stubble before wind.
14 Hmai mah kangh ih thing baktih, hmai mah maenawk kangh naah kangqong hmaipalai baktiah omsak ah,
As a fire doth burn a forest, And as a flame setteth hills on fire,
15 takhi sae hoiah nihcae to patom ah loe, nangmah ih takhipui hoiah nihcae to pazih ah.
So dost Thou pursue them with Thy whirlwind, And with Thy hurricane troublest them.
16 Aw Angraeng, nihcae mah na hmin pakrong o thai hanah, nihcae ih mikhmainawk to azathaih hoiah koisak ah.
Fill their faces [with] shame, And they seek Thy name, O Jehovah.
17 Nihcae azat o nasoe loe, raihaih tong o poe nasoe; ue, nihcae loe azat o nasoe loe, anghma o poe nasoe.
They are ashamed and troubled for ever, Yea, they are confounded and lost.
18 JEHOVAH, tiah ahmin maeto khue kaom Nang loe long nui boih ah na Sang koek, tiah kaminawk mah panoek o nasoe.
And they know that Thou — (Thy name [is] Jehovah — by Thyself, ) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!
