and all his sons and all his daughters rise to comfort him, and he refuses to comfort himself, and says, “For I go down to my son mourning, to Sheol,” and his father weeps for him. (Sheol )
Toe Jakob mah, Ka capa hae na caeh haih mak ai; amya duek boeh moe, anih loe angmabueng ah ni oh boeh, loklam ah kasae tongh moeng nahaeloe, palungset loiah ka lu ih sampok hoi nawnto ah ni taprong thungah nang caeh o sak tih boeh, tiah a naa. (Sheol )
and he says, “My son does not go down with you, for his brother [is] dead, and he by himself is left; when harm has met him in the way in which you go, then you have brought down my grey hairs in sorrow to Sheol.” (Sheol )

when you have taken also this from my presence, and harm has met him, then you have brought down my grey hairs with evil to Sheol. (Sheol )
nawkta to khet hawk moe, kaicae hoi nawnto nawkta angzo ai, tiah panoek nahaeloe, anih loe dueh roep tih boeh; na tamnanawk mah palungset loiah anih lu nui ih sampok to taprong thungah ka laem o sak moeng tih. (Sheol )
then it has come to pass, when he sees that the youth is not, that he has died, and your servants have brought down the grey hairs of your servant our father with sorrow to Sheol; (Sheol )
Toe Angraeng mah hmuen kangtha to sah moe, long to akah rak pacoengah, hae kaminawk hoi nihcae ih ampuinawk to paaeh moe, kahing ah tangqom thungah caeh o nahaeloe, hae kaminawk mah Angraeng to khet patoek o, tito na panoek o tih, tiah a naa. (Sheol )
but if YHWH does a strange thing, and the ground has opened her mouth and swallowed them and all that they have, and they have gone down alive to Sheol, then you have known that these men have despised YHWH.” (Sheol )
To kaminawk, nihcae hoi angkom kaminawk loe, kahing ah long thungah caeh o tathuk; long mah nihcae to pakuep hmoek; to tiah nihcae loe acaeng kaminawk thung hoiah anghmat angtaa o. (Sheol )
and they go down—they and all that they have—alive to Sheol, and the earth closes over them, and they perish from the midst of the assembly; (Sheol )
Kai loe hmai baktiah palungphui amngaeh pongah, kahnaem koek hell thung khoek to kangh tih; long hoi thingthainawk boih hmai ka kanghsak han, mae angdoethaih ahmuen khoek to hmai mah kangh tih. (Sheol )
For a fire has been kindled in My anger, And it burns to the lowest [part] of Sheol, And consumes earth and its increase, And sets on fire [the] foundations of mountains. (Sheol )
Angraeng nang loe kami to paduek thaih moe hinghaih doeh paek thaih, taprong thungah caehsak thaih moe, pathawk thaih. (Sheol )
YHWH puts to death, and keeps alive, He brings down to Sheol, and brings up. (Sheol )
Hell qui mah angzaeng caeng moe, duekhaih thaang mah ang pakaa khoep. (Sheol )
The cords of Sheol have surrounded me, The snares of death have been before me. (Sheol )
Na tawnh ih palunghahaih baktih toengah a nuiah sah ah; sampok anih ih lu to amding rue ah taprong thungah caeh tathuk hmah nasoe. (Sheol )
and you have done according to your wisdom, and do not let his old age go down in peace to Sheol. (Sheol )
Anih loe vaihi zaehaih tawn ai boeh, tiah poek hmah; nang loe palungha kami ah na oh; anih nuiah kawbawngmaw sak han, tiah na panoek; sampok anih ih lu to athii hoi nawnto taprong thungah caehsak hmaek ah, tiah a naa. (Sheol )
and now, do not acquit him, for you [are] a wise man, and you have known that which you do to him, and have brought down his old age with blood to Sheol.” (Sheol )

A cloud has been consumed, and it goes, So he who is going down to Sheol does not come up. (Sheol )
Vannawk pongah kasang, timaw na sah thai tih? Hell pongah kathuk kue, timaw na panoek thai tih? (Sheol )
Heights of the heavens—what [can] you do? Deeper than Sheol—what [can] you know? (Sheol )
Aw taprong thungah na hawk ah, palung na phuihaih dip ai karoek to, tamquta hoi na hawk ah! Kai pahnet han ai ah, ka oh han ih atue to na khaek pae ah. (Sheol )
O that You would conceal me in Sheol, Hide me until the turning of Your anger, Set a limit for me, and remember me. (Sheol )
Taprong loe kai ih im ni, tiah ka zing; vinghaih thungah iihhaih kahni to ka baih. (Sheol )
If I wait—Sheol [is] my house, In darkness I have spread out my bed. (Sheol )
Nihcae loe kai hoi nawnto maiphu thungah anghak hanah, taprong khongkha thungah caeh o tathuk tih, tiah a naa. (Sheol )
You go down [to] the parts of Sheol, If we may rest together on the dust.” (Sheol )

They wear out their days in good, And in a moment go down [to] Sheol. (Sheol )
Ni kabae hoi khokhaahaih mah dantui amkawsak baktih toengah, taprong mah kazae kaminawk to amrosak. (Sheol )
Drought—also heat—consume snow-waters, Sheol—[those who] have sinned. (Sheol )
Hell loe Sithaw hmaa ah bangkrai ah ni oh, amrohaih loe kraenghaih akhuem om ai. (Sheol )
Sheol [is] naked before Him, And there is no covering to destruction. (Sheol )
Tipongah tih nahaeloe duek pacoengah loe nang poekhaih to om mak ai boeh: mi mah maw taprong thung hoiah nang khaeah kawnhaih lok thui tih? (Sheol )
For in death there is no memorial of You, In Sheol, who gives thanks to You? (Sheol )
Sithaw pahnet prae kaminawk hoi kasae kaminawk loe, hell thungah caeh o tih. (Sheol )
The wicked turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God. (Sheol )
Ka muithla hae hell thungah na caeh taak mak ai; Ciimcai nangmah ih kami doeh na qongsak mak ai. (Sheol )
For You do not leave my soul to Sheol, Nor give your Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol )

O YHWH, do not let me be ashamed, For I have called You, let the wicked be ashamed, Let them become silent to Sheol. (Sheol )

They have set themselves as sheep for Sheol, Death afflicts them, And the upright rule over them in the morning, And their form [is] for consumption. Sheol [is] a dwelling for him. (Sheol )

Desolations [are] on them, They go down [to] Sheol—alive, For wickedness [is] in their dwelling, in their midst. (Sheol )

For Your kindness [is] great toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol )

For my soul has been full of evils, And my life has come to Sheol. (Sheol )

Who [is] the man that lives, and does not see death? He delivers his soul from the hand of Sheol. (Selah) (Sheol )

Cords of death have surrounded me, And straits of Sheol have found me, I find distress and sorrow. (Sheol )

If I ascend the heavens—You [are] there, And spread out a bed in Sheol, behold, You! (Sheol )

As one tilling and ripping up in the land, Have our bones been scattered at the command of Saul. (Sheol )

And he has not known that Rephaim [are] there, Her invited ones in deep places of Sheol! (Sheol )
Hell hoi amrohaih mataeng doeh Angraeng hmaa ah amtueng phaeng nahaeloe, kaminawk ih palung cae loe kawkruk maw amtueng aep tih? (Sheol )
Sheol and destruction [are] before YHWH, Surely also the hearts of the sons of men. (Sheol )
Hell thung hoi loih hanah, palungha kami loe hinghaih loklam bangah caeh tahang. (Sheol )
A path of life [is] on high for the wise, To turn aside from Sheol beneath. (Sheol )
Hell thung hoiah anih to pahlong hanah, cung hoiah bop ah. (Sheol )
You strike him with a rod, And you deliver his soul from Sheol. (Sheol )
Hell hoi duekhaih loe natuek naah doeh koi thai ai; to baktih toengah kami mik mah hnukhaih to boep thai ai. (Sheol )
Sheol and destruction are not satisfied, And the eyes of man are not satisfied. (Sheol )

Sheol, and a restrained womb, Earth—it [is] not satisfied [with] water, And fire—it has not said, “Sufficiency,” (Sheol )
Na ban hoi sak han koi hmuennawk boih to tha pathok ah loe sah ah; na caehhaih ahmuen, taprong ah loe toksakhaih doeh, khopoekhaih doeh, to tih ai boeh loe panoekhaih hoi palunghahaih doeh om ai boeh. (Sheol )
All that your hand finds to do, with your power do, for there is no work, and plan, and knowledge, and wisdom in Sheol to where you are going. (Sheol )

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm, For strong as death is love, Sharp as Sheol is jealousy, Its burnings [are] burnings of fire, a flame of YAH! (Sheol )

Therefore Sheol has enlarged herself, And has opened her mouth without limit. And its honor has gone down, and its multitude, And its noise, and its exulting one—into her. (Sheol )

Sheol beneath has been troubled at you, To meet your coming in, It is waking up Rephaim for you, All chief ones of earth, It has raised up from their thrones All kings of nations. (Sheol )
Na lensawkhaih hoi na kruek ih katoengnawk loe taprong thungah laemh o tathuk boih boeh; langkawknawk loe nang tlim ah pung o moe, sadong mah nang to khuk khoep boeh. (Sheol )
Your excellence has been brought down to Sheol, The noise of your stringed instruments, The worm has been spread out under you, Indeed, the worm is covering you. (Sheol )

Only—you are brought down to Sheol, To the sides of the pit. (Sheol )
Duekhaih hoi lokmaihaih to ka sak o boeh, hell hoi doeh palungduehaih ka sak o boeh; tui uemhaih oh naah doeh, kaicae khaeah pha mak ai; kaicae loe amsawnlok pongah ka buep o moe, alinghaih tlim ah kang hawk o boeh, tiah na thuih o. (Sheol )
Because you have said: “We have made a covenant with death, And we have made a provision with Sheol, An overflowing scourge, when it passes over, Does not meet us, Though we have made a lie our refuge, And have been hidden in falsehood.” (Sheol )
Duekhaih hoiah na sak o ih lokmaihaih to amro tih; taprong hoiah na sak o ih palungduehaih doeh cak mak ai; tui uemhaih phak naah tui mah nangcae to pazawk tih. (Sheol )
And your covenant with death has been annulled, And your provision with Sheol does not stand, An overflowing scourge, when it passes over, Then you have been to it for a treading-place. (Sheol )

“I said in the cutting off of my days, I go to the gates of Sheol, I have numbered the remnant of my years. (Sheol )

For Sheol does not confess You, Death does not praise You, Those going down to the pit do not hope for Your truth. (Sheol )

And go joyfully to the king in ointment, And multiply your perfumes, And send your ambassadors far off, And humble yourself to Sheol. (Sheol )

Thus said Lord YHWH: I have caused mourning in the day of his going down to Sheol, I have covered the deep over him, and diminish its flowings, And many waters are restrained, And I make Lebanon black for him, And all trees of the field [have been] a covering for him. (Sheol )

Those with him have also gone down to Sheol, To the pierced of the sword, And—his arm—they dwelt in his shade in the midst of nations. (Sheol )
Thacak misatuh kaminawk mah nang hoi nang abomh kaminawk to hell thung hoiah na dawt o tih, nihcae loe long thungah caeh o tathuk boeh; nihcae loe sumsen hoi hum ih tangyat hin aat ai kaminawk hoi nawnto angsong o. (Sheol )
The gods of the mighty speak to him out of the midst of Sheol, With his helpers—they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword. (Sheol )
Nihcae loe misatukhaih maiphaw sinh hoi tangyat hin aat ai ah hell thungah kacaeh, thacak dueh kaminawk hoi nawnto angsong o mak ai; nihcae loe angmacae lu tlim ah sumsen to a suek o, toe kahing kaminawk prae thungah zit thohhaih omsak kami ah oh o pongah, nihcae zaehaih loe angmacae ahuh nuiah om tih. (Sheol )
And they do not lie with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living. (Sheol )

Will I ransom them from the hand of Sheol? Will I redeem them from death? Where [is] your plague, O death? Where your destruction, O Sheol? Comfort is hid from My eyes. (Sheol )

If they dig through into Sheol, From there My hand takes them, And if they go up [to] the heavens, From there I cause them to come down. (Sheol )

And he says: “I called, because of my distress, to YHWH, And He answers me, From the belly of Sheol I have cried, You have heard my voice. (Sheol )
ue, misurtui nae kami loe zaehaih to sak, anih loe im ah a tawnh ih hmuen hoiah zok amhah thai ai: anih koehhaih loe hell baktiah kawk moe, duekhaih baktiah palung khuek tih thai ai, angmah khaeah acaeng kaminawk to pakhueng boih moe, kaminawk to angmah hanah a suek boih. (Sheol )
And also, because the wine [is] treacherous, A man is haughty, and does not remain at home, Who has enlarged his soul as Sheol, And is as death that is not satisfied, And gathers to itself all the nations, And assembles to itself all the peoples, (Sheol )

but I say to you that everyone who is angry at his brother without cause will be in danger of the judgment, and whoever may say to his brother, Stupid, will be in danger of the Sanhedrin, and whoever may say, Moron, will be in danger of the Gehenna of fire. (Geenna )

And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast from you, for it is good to you that one of your members may perish, and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna )

And do not be afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. (Geenna )

And you, Capernaum, which were exalted to Heaven, will be brought down to Hades, because if the mighty works that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it had remained to this day; (Hadēs )

And that sown toward the thorns, this is he who is hearing the word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceitfulness of the riches, chokes the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )

and the enemy who sowed them is the Devil, and the harvest is [the] full end of the age, and the reapers are messengers. (aiōn )
