And Peter and John were going up at the same time to the temple, at the hour of the prayer, the ninth [hour],
2 To naah amno takoh thung hoi khokkhaem kami maeto loe tempul thung akun kaminawk khae ban patueng hanah, nithokkruek angzawn o moe, Kranghoih, tiah kawk ih tempul khongkha taengah a suek o,
and a certain man, being lame from the womb of his mother, was being carried, whom they were laying every day at the gate of the temple, called Beautiful, to ask a kindness from those entering into the temple,
3 to kami mah tempul thungah kakun tom Piter hoi Johan to hnuk naah, nihnik khaeah phoisa a hnik.
who, having seen Peter and John about to go into the temple, was begging to receive a kindness.
4 Piter hoi Johan mah anih to mikpakhrip ai ah khet hoi moe, anih khaeah, Kaihnik hae khen ah, tiah a naa.
And Peter, having looked stedfastly toward him with John, said, 'Look toward us;'
5 Anih mah hmuen maeto na paek hoi tih mue, tiah a poek pongah, oephaih hoiah nihnik to a khet.
and he was giving heed to them, looking to receive something from them;
6 Piter mah, phoisa hoi sui ka tawn ai; toe ka tawnh ih hmuen to kang paek: Nazareth Jesu Kri ih ahmin hoiah angthawk ah loe, caeh ah, tiah a naa.
and Peter said, 'Silver and gold I have none, but what I have, that I give to thee; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and be walking.'
7 Piter mah anih ih bantang ban to patawnh pae moe, pathawk tahang: to naah anih ih khok hoi khokhu ahuh to thacak pae.
And having seized him by the right hand, he raised [him] up, and presently his feet and ankles were strengthened,
8 Anih loe angthawk tahang moe, angdoet pacoengah, lam a caeh, nihnik hoi nawnto tempul thungah akunh, lam a caeh moe, amloep hoiah Sithaw to pakoeh.
and springing up, he stood, and was walking, and did enter with them into the temple, walking and springing, and praising God;
9 Anih loe lam a caeh moe, Sithaw to pakoeh, tiah kaminawk boih mah hnuk o:
and all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 to kami loe Kranghoih tempul khongkha taengah ban patueng kami ni, tiah nihcae mah panoek o: anih nuiah kaom hmuen to kaminawk mah hnuk o naah, dawnrai anghmanghaih hoiah oh o.
they were knowing him also that this it was who for a kindness was sitting at the Beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what hath happened to him.
11 Khokkhaem kahoih kami mah Piter hoi Johan ih ban to patawnh naah, kaminawk boih dawnrai o moe, Solomon ih impoem ta, tiah kawk ih ahmuen ah nihcae khaeah nawnto cawnh o.
And at the lame man who was healed holding Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch called Solomon's — greatly amazed,
12 Piter mah to kaminawk to hnuk naah, nihcae khaeah, Israel kaminawk, tikhoe hae tiah kaom hmuen nuiah dawnraihaih na tawnh o loe? Kaimah hnik sakthaihaih tha hoi sithaw kami ah ka oh hoi pongah ni hae kami hae loklam ka caeh hoi sak thaih, tiah na poek o pongah maw mikpakhrip ai ah nang khet o?
and Peter having seen, answered unto the people, 'Men, Israelites! why wonder ye at this? or on us why look ye so earnestly, as if by our own power or piety we have made him to walk?
13 Abraham Sithaw, Isak Sithaw, Jacob Sithaw, aicae ampanawk ih Sithaw mah a Capa, Jesu to lensawkhaih hoiah pakoeh boeh; anih to hum hanah nangcae mah na paek o, Pilat mah anih prawt han thuih naah, Pilat hma ah anih to nang phat o taak.
'The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, did glorify His child Jesus, whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, he having given judgment to release [him],
14 Kaciim Kami hoi Katoeng Kami to na pahnawt o moe, kami hum kami to prawt hanah na hnik o lat;
and ye the Holy and Righteous One did deny, and desired a man — a murderer — to be granted to you,

and the Prince of the life ye did kill, whom God did raise out of the dead, of which we are witnesses;

and on the faith of his name, this one whom ye see and have known, his name made strong, even the faith that [is] through him did give to him this perfect soundness before you all.
17 Nawkamyanawk, nangcae ukkungnawk mah sak o ih baktih toengah, nangcae mah doeh panoek ai ah na sak o toeng, tito vaihi ka panoek.
'And now, brethren, I have known that through ignorance ye did [it], as also your rulers;
18 Toe Kri loe patangkhang tih, tiah Sithaw mah angmah ih tahmaanawk pakha hoiah thuih ih hmuennawk boih to Anih mah akoepsak boeh.
and God, what things before He had declared through the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ should suffer, He did thus fulfil;
19 To pongah dawnpakhuem oh loe, Sithaw khaeah amlaem oh, to tiah ni na zae o haihnawk to tahmat ueloe, Angraeng khae hoiah angthahaih atue to angzo thai let tih,
reform ye, therefore, and turn back, for your sins being blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
20 to tiah ni Anih mah nangcae khaeah thuih coek ih Jesu Kri to patoeh tih,
and He may send Jesus Christ who before hath been preached to you,

whom it behoveth heaven, indeed, to receive till times of a restitution of all things, of which God spake through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age. (aiōn g165)
22 Mosi mah ampanawk khaeah, Nangcae ih Angraeng Sithaw mah, nangcae salakah kai baktih, Tahmaa maeto nangcae han tacawtsak tih: Anih mah thuih ih loknawk boih na tahngai pae o han oh.
'For Moses, indeed, unto the fathers said — A prophet to you shall the Lord your God raise up out of your brethren, like to me; him shall ye hear in all things, as many as he may speak unto you;
23 Mi kawbaktih doeh to prophet ih lok tahngai ai kami loe, angmah acaeng thung hoiah pahnawt tih, tiah thuih.
and it shall be, every soul that may not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed out of the people;
24 Ue, tahmaa Samuel hoi kamtong anih hnukah angzo tahmaanawk boih mah, thuih o ih lok baktih toengah, vaihi thuem kaom hmuen to a thuih o coek boeh.
and also all the prophets from Samuel and those following in order, as many as spake, did also foretell of these days.
25 Nangcae loe tahmaanawk hoi Sithaw mah, aicae ampanawk hoiah sak ih lokmaihaih caa ah na oh o, Abraham khaeah, Nang ih atii hoiah ni long kaminawk boih tahamhoih o tih.

26 Nangcae boih a zaehaih loklam thung hoiah amlaemsak moe, tahamhoihaih paek hanah, Sithaw mah a Capa Jesu to pathawk moe, Anih to nangcae khaeah patoeh hmaloe.
to you first, God, having raised up His child Jesus, did send him, blessing you, in the turning away of each one from your evil ways.'
