Aefeso 1
1 Paulo, mtumwi wa Khristu Yesu mwachifuniro cha Mulungu. Kulembera oyera mtima a ku Efeso, okhulupirika mwa Khristu Yesu:
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through God’s will, unto the saints who are [in Ephesus] and faithful in Christ Jesus, —
2 Chisomo ndi mtendere kwa inu zochokera kwa Mulungu Atate athu ndi Ambuye Yesu Khristu.
Favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Tiyamike Mulungu, Atate a Ambuye athu Yesu Khristu, amene anatipatsa madalitso onse a uzimu kumwamba mwa Khristu.
Blessed, be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing, in the heavenlies, in Christ,
4 Dziko lapansi lisanalengedwe, Mulungu anatisankhiratu mwa Khristu kuti tikhale oyera mtima ndi wopanda cholakwa pamaso pake. Mwa chikondi chake,
According as he made choice of us, in him, before the founding of a world, that we might be holy and blameless in his presence; in love,
5 Iye anakonzeratu kuti ife titengedwe ngati ana mwa Yesu Khristu, molingana ndi kukonda kwake ndi chifuniro chake.
marking us out beforehand unto sonship, through Jesus Christ, for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 Anachita zimenezi kuti tiziyamika ulemerero wa chisomo chake, umene watipatsa kwaulere mwa Khristu amene amamukonda.
Unto the praise of the glory of his favour wherewith he favoured us in the Beloved One, —
7 Mwa Yesu Khristu, chifukwa cha magazi ake, ife tinawomboledwa ndi kukhululukidwa machimo athu molingana ndi kuchuluka kwa chisomo cha Mulungu
In whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of our offences, according to the riches of his favour,
8 chimene anatipatsa mosawumira. Mwa nzeru zonse ndi chidziwitso,
which he made to superabound towards us; in all wisdom and prudence,
9 Iye watiwululira chifuniro chake chimene chinali chobisika, chimene anachikonzeratu mwa Khristu, molingana ndi kukoma mtima kwake.
making known to us the sacred secret of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him, —
10 Chimene anakonza kuti chichitike nʼchakuti, ikakwana nthawi yake asonkhanitsa pamodzi mwa Khristu zinthu zonse za kumwamba ndi pa dziko lapansi.
For an administration of the fulness of the seasons, to reunite for himself (under one head) the all things in the Christ, the things upon the heavens, and the things upon the earth, in him:
11 Iye anatisankhiratu mwa Khristu, atatikonzeratu molingana ndi machitidwe a Iye amene amachititsa zinthu zonse kuti zikwaniritse cholinga cha chifuniro chake,
In whom also we were taken as an inheritance, according to the purpose of him who energiseth all things according to the counsel of his will,
12 nʼcholinga chakuti, ife amene tinali oyamba kukhala ndi chiyembekezo mwa Khristu, tiyamike ulemerero wake.
That we should be for the praise of his glory—we who had hoped beforehand in the Christ, —
13 Ndipo inunso pamene munamva mawu a choonadi, Uthenga Wabwino wa chipulumutso chanu, munayikidwanso mwa Khristu. Mutakhulupirira, anakusindikizani chizindikiro pokupatsani Mzimu Woyera amene Iye analonjeza.
In whom, ye also—hearing the word of the truth, the glad-message of your salvation, —in whom also believing, —were sealed with the Spirit of the promise, the Holy [Spirit],
14 Mzimu Woyerayo ndi chikole chotsimikizira kuti tidzalandira madalitso athu, ndipo kuti Mulungu anatiwombola kuti tikhale anthu ake. Iye anachita zimenezi kuti timuyamike ndi kumulemekeza.
Which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of the acquisition; —unto his glorious praise.
15 Choncho, kuyambira pamene ndinamva za chikhulupiriro chanu mwa Ambuye Yesu ndi za chikondi chanu pa oyera mtima onse,
For this cause, I also, —having heard of the faith on your part in the Lord Jesus, and that towards all the saints,
16 ine sindilekeza kuyamika Mulungu chifukwa cha inu. Ndimakukumbukirani mʼmapemphero anga.
Cease not giving thanks in your behalf, making mention in my prayers,
17 Ndimapemphera kuti Mulungu wa Ambuye athu Yesu Khristu, Atate a ulemerero akupatseni mzimu wa nzeru ndi wa vumbulutso, kuti mumudziwe kwenikweni.
That, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you a Spirit of wisdom and understanding in gaining a personal knowledge of him, —
18 Ndimapempheranso kuti maso a mitima yanu atsekuke ndi cholinga choti mudziwe chiyembekezo chimene Iye anakuyitanirani, chuma cha ulemerero chomwe chili mwa anthu oyera mtima.
The eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that ye may know—what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 Ndiponso ndikufuna kuti mudziwe mphamvu zake zazikulu koposa zimene zili mwa ife amene timakhulupirira. Mphamvuyi ndi yofanana ndi mphamvu yoposa ija
And what the surpassing greatness of his power unto us who believe, —according to the energy of the grasp of his might
20 imene inagwira ntchito pamene Mulungu anaukitsa Khristu kwa akufa, namukhazika Iye ku dzanja lake lamanja mʼdziko la kumwamba.
which he energised in the Christ, when he raised him from among the dead, and seated him at his right hand in the heavenlies,
21 Anamukhazika pamwamba pa ulamuliro onse ndi mafumu, mphamvu ndi ufumu, ndiponso pamwamba pa dzina lililonse limene angalitchule, osati nthawi ino yokha komanso imene ikubwerayo. (aiōn g165)
Over-above all principality, authority, and power, and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one, (aiōn g165)
22 Ndipo Mulungu anayika zinthu zonse pansi pa mapazi ake ndi kumusankha Iyeyo kukhala mutu pa chilichonse chifukwa cha mpingo,
And did put, all things, in subjection beneath his feet. And gave him to be head over all things unto the assembly,
23 umene ndi thupi lake, chidzalo cha Iye amene adzaza chilichonse mu njira iliyonse.
Which, indeed, is his body, the fulness of him who, the all things in all, is for himself filling up.
