Numerus 20
1 Busa ang katawhan sa Israel, ang tibuok nga katilingban, miadto didto sa kamingawan sa Sin sa unang bulan; mipuyo sila sa Cades. Didto namatay si Miriam ug gilubong.
And the sones of Israel and al the multitude camen in to the deseert of Syn, in the firste monethe. And the puple dwellide in Cades; and Marie was deed there, and biried in the same place.
2 Wala gayoy tubig alang sa katilingban, mao nga nagkatigom sila batok kang Moises ug kang Aaron.
And whanne the puple hadde nede to watir, thei yeden togidere ayens Moises and Aaron; and thei weren turned in to dissensioun,
3 Mibagulbol ang katawhan batok kang Moises. Miingon sila, “Mas maayo pa unta nga nangamatay na lamang kami sa dihang ang atong mga kaubanan nga mga Israelita nangamatay sa atubangan ni Yahweh!
and seiden, We wolden that we hadden perischid among oure britheren bifor the Lord.
4 Nganong gidala mo man ang katilingban ni Yahweh dinhi niining kamingawan aron mangamatay dinhi, kami ug ang among mga mananap?”
Whi han ye led out the chirche of the Lord in to wildirnesse, that bothe we and oure beestis die?
5 Ug nganong gipagawas mo man kami sa Ehipto aron sa pagdala kanamo niining makalilisang nga dapit? Walay binhi dinhi, mga igera, mga paras, o mga granada. Ug wala pa gayoy tubig nga mainom.”
Whi han ye maad vs to stie from Egipt, and han brouyt vs in to this werste place, which may not be sowun, which nether bryngith forth fige tre, nether vineris, nether pumgranatis, ferthermore and hath not watir to drynke?
6 Busa mibiya si Moises ug si Aaron sa atubangan niadtong nagtigom. Miadto sila sa pultahan sa tolda nga tigomanan ug miyukbo. Mitungha didto ang kahayag sa himaya ni Yahweh ngadto kanila.
And whanne the multitude was left, Moises and Aaron entriden in to the tabernacle of boond of pees, and felden lowe to erthe, and crieden to God, and seiden, Lord God, here the cry of this puple, and opene to hem thi tresour, a welle of quyk watir, that whanne thei ben fillid, the grutchyng of hem ceesse. And the glorie of the Lord apperide on hem;
7 Misulti si Yahweh kang Moises ug miingon,
and the Lord spak to Moises,
8 “Dad-a ang sungkod ug tigoma ang katilingban, ikaw, ug si Aaron nga imong igsoon. Sultihi ang bato sa atubangan nila, ug mandoi kini aron moagas ang tubig. Makahatag ka ug tubig alang kanila gikan niana nga bato, ug kinahanglan nga ihatag nimo kini ngadto sa katilingban ug sa ilang mga baka aron makainom.”
and seide, Take the yerde, and gadere the puple, thou, and Aaron thi brother; and speke ye to the stoon bifore hem, and it schal yyue watris. And whanne thou hast led watir out of the stoon, al the multitude schal drynke, and the beestis therof `schulden drynke.
9 Gikuha ni Moises ang sungkod gikan sa atubangan ni Yahweh, sumala sa gisugo ni Yahweh kaniya nga iyang buhaton.
Therfor Moises took the yerde that was in the `siyt of the Lord, as the Lord comaundide to hym,
10 Unya gitigom ni Moises ug Aaron ang nagtigom nga katawhan sa atubangan sa bato. Miingon si Moises kanila, “Paminaw, kamong mga masinupakon. Kinahanglan ba nga maghatag kami ug tubig dinhi niini nga bato alang kaninyo?”
whanne the multitude was gaderid bifor the stoon; and he seide to hem, Here ye, rebel and vnbileueful; whether we moun brynge out of this stoon watir to you?
11 Unya gibayaw ni Moises ang iyang kamot ug gibunal ang iyang sungkod sa bato sa makaduha nga higayon, ug daghan ang tubig nga miagas. Nanginom ang katilingban, ug ang ilang mga baka nanginom usab.
And whanne Moises hadde reisid the hond, and hadde smyte the flynt twies with the yerde, largeste watris yeden out, so that the puple drank, and the beestis drunken.
12 Unya miingon si Yahweh ngadto kang Moises ug kang Aaron, “Tungod kay wala man kamo misalig kanako o nagtahod kanako ingon nga balaan ngadto sa mga mata sa katawhan sa Israel, dili ninyo madala kining mga nagtigom nga mga katawhan ngadto sa yuta nga akong ihatag kanila.”
And the Lord seide to Moises and to Aaron, For ye bileueden not to me, that ye schulden halewe me bifor the sones of Israel, ye schulen not lede these puples in to the lond which Y schal yyue to hem.
13 Gitawag kini nga dapit nga katubigan sa Meriba tungod kay nakiglalis ang mga katawhan sa Israel kang Yahweh didto, ug gipakita niya ang iyang kaugalingon ngadto kanila ingon nga balaan.
This is the watir of ayenseiyng; there the sones of Israel stryueden ayens the Lord, and he was halewid in hem.
14 Nagpadala si Moises ug mga mensahero gikan sa Cades ngadto sa hari sa Edomea: Ang imong igsoon nga si Israel ang nag-ingon niini: “Nasayod ka sa tanang kalisdanan nga nahitabo kanamo.
In the meene tyme Moises sente messangeres fro Cades to the kyng of Edom, whiche seiden, Israel thi brother sendith these thinges. Thou knowist al the trauel that took vs,
15 Nasayod ka nga ang among mga katigulangan milugsong sa Ehipto ug mipuyo sa Ehipto sa dugay nga panahon. Gidaog-daog kami sa mga Ehiptohanon ug ang among mga katigulangan usab.
hou oure fadris yeden doun in to Egipt, and we dwelliden there myche tyme, and Egipcians turmentiden vs and oure fadris; and hou we crieden to the Lord,
16 Sa dihang mitawag kami kang Yahweh, nadungog niya ang among tingog ug nagpadala sa anghel ug nagpagawas kanamo gikan sa Ehipto. Tan-awa, ania kami sa Cades, ang siyudad nga utlanan sa imong yuta.
and he herde vs, and sente an aungel that ledde vs out of Egipt. And lo! we ben set in the citee of Cades, which is in thi laste coostis,
17 Naghangyo ako kanimo nga paagion nimo kami sa imong yuta. Dili kami moagi sa uma o sa parasan, ni moinom kami ug tubig sa imong mga atabay. Mosubay kami sa dakong dalan sa hari. Dili kami moliko sa tuong bahin o sa walang bahin hangtod nga makalatas na kami sa imong utlanan.”
and we bisechen that it be leueful to vs to passe thorou thi lond; we schulen not go bi feeldis, nether bi vyneris, nether we schulen drynke watris of thi pittis; but we schulen go in the comyn weie, and we schulen not bowe to the riyt side, nether to the left side, til we passen thi termes.
18 Apan mitubag ang hari sa Edomea kaniya, “Dili ka makaagi dinhi. Kay kung buhaton nimo kana, moadto ako nga magdala ug espada aron sa paghasmag kanimo.”
To whom Edom answeride, Ye schulen not passe bi me, ellis Y schal be armed, and come ayens thee.
19 Unya miingon ang katawhan sa Israel kaniya, “Mosubay kami sa dakong dalan. Kung makainom kami o ang among mga mananap sa inyong tubig, mobayad kami niini. Tugoti lamang kami sa paglakaw pinaagi sa tiil, nga walay laing buhaton.”
And the sones of Israel seiden, We schulen go bi the weie comynli vsid, and if we and oure beestis drynken thi watris, we schulen yyue that that is iust; noon hardnesse schal be in prijs, onely passe we swiftli.
20 Apan mitubag ang hari sa Edomea, “Dili kamo makahimong molatas. “Busa miadto ang hari sa Edomea nga nakigbatok sa Israel uban ang kusgan nga kamot ug ang daghang kasundalohan.
And he answeride, Ye schulen not passe. And anoon he yede out ayens Israel, with a multitude without noumbre, and `strong hond,
21 Mibalibad ang hari sa Edomea sa pagtugot sa Israel sa paglabang sa ilang utlanan. Tungod niini, mibiya ang Israel gikan sa yuta sa Edomea.
nether he wolde assente to Israel bisechynge, that he schulde graunte passage bi hise coostis. Wherfor Israel turnede awey fro hym.
22 Mao nga mipanaw ang katawhan gikan sa Cades. Ang katawhan sa Israel, ang tibuok katilingban, miadto sa Bukid sa Hor.
And whanne thei hadden moued tentis fro Cades, thei camen in to the hil of Hor, which is in the endis of the lond of Edom;
23 Misulti si Yahweh kang Moises ug kang Aaron ngadto sa Bukid sa Hor, sa utlanan sa Edomea. Miingon siya,
where the Lord spak to Moyses and seide, Aaron go to his puples;
24 “Kinahanglan nga paiponon si Aaron ngadto sa iyang katawhan, tungod kay dili siya makasulod sa yuta nga akong ihatag ngadto sa katawhan sa Israel. Tungod kini kay nagsupak kamong duha batok sa akong pulong didto sa katubigan sa Meriba.
for he schal not entre in to the lond which Y yaf to the sones of Israel, for he was vnbileueful to my mouth, at the watris of ayenseiyng.
25 Kuhaa si Aaron ug si Eleazar nga iyang anak, ug dad-a sila patungas ngadto sa Bukid sa Hor.
Take thou Aaron, and his sone with hym, and thou schalt lede hem in to the hil of Hor;
26 Huboa ang parianon nga bisti ni Aaron ug ipasul-ob kini ngadto kang Eleazar nga iyang anak. Kinahanglang mamatay si Aaron ug paiponon sa iyang katawhan didto.”
and whanne thou hast maad nakid the fadir of his cloth, thou schalt clothe `with it Eleazar, his sone, and Aaron schal be gederid, and schal die there.
27 Gibuhat ni Moises ang gisugo ni Yahweh. Mitungas sila sa Bukid sa Hor sa panan-aw sa tanang katilingban.
Moises dide as the Lord comaundide; and thei stieden in to the hil of Hor, bifor al the multitude.
28 Gihubo ni Moises ang parianon nga mga bisti ni Aaron ug gipasul-ob kini ngadto kang Eleazar nga iyang anak. Namatay si Aaron didto sa tumoy sa bukid. Unya milugsong si Moises ug si Eleazar.
And whanne he hadde maad nakid Aaron of hise clothis, he clothide with tho Eleazar, his sone. Sotheli whanne Aaron was deed in the `cop of the hil, Moises cam doun with Eleazar.
29 Sa dihang nakita sa mga katilingban nga patay na si Aaron, mihilak ang tibuok nasod alang kang Aaron sulod sa 30 ka adlaw.
Sotheli al the multitude siy that Aaron was deed, and wepte on hym thretti daies, bi alle her meyness.
