Deuteronomio 9

1 Paminaw, Israel; hapit ka na motabok ngadto sa Jordan karong adlawa, aron sa pagkuha sa mga nasod nga mas dako ug mas kusgan sa imong kaugalingon, ug ang mga siyudad nga dagko ug lig-on ngadto sa langit,

Here thou, Israel; thou schalt passe Jordan to dai, that thou welde mooste naciouns, and strengere than thou; grete citees, and wallid `til to heuene;

2 mga tawo nga dagko ug taas, mga anak nga lalaki ni Anakim, nga imong nailhan, ug imong nadunggan nga gihisgotan sa mga tawo, 'Kinsa man ang makabarog sa atubangan sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Anak?'

a greet puple, and hiy; the sones of Enachym, whiche thi silf `siest, and herdist, whiche no man may ayenstonde in the contrarie part.

3 Busa karong adlawa hibaloi nga si Yahweh nga imong Dios maoy mouna kanimo sama sa molamoy nga kalayo; iya silang pagalaglagon, ug pagapildihon niya sila sa imong atubangan; busa papahawaa sila ug ipakalaggiw sila dayon, sama sa giingon ni Yahweh nganha kanimo.

Therfor thou schalt wite to dai, that thi Lord God hym silf schal passe bifor thee; he is a fier deuourynge and wastynge, that schal al to breke hem, and schal do awei, and destrie bifor thi face swiftli, as he spak to thee.

4 Ayaw pagsulti sa imong kasingkasing, human sila isalikway ni Yahweh nga imong Dios gikan sa imong atubangan, 'Tungod kini sa akong pagkamatarong nga gidala ako ni Yahweh aron panag-iyahon kining yutaa,' kay tungod kini sa pagkadaotan niining kanasoran nga gipagawas sila ni Yahweh gikan sa imong atubangan.

Seie thou not in thin herte, whanne thi Lord God hath do hem awey in thi siyt, For my riytfulnesse the Lord brouyte me yn, that Y schulde welde this lond; sithen these naciouns ben doon awey for her wickidnessis.

5 Dili kini tungod sa pagkamatarong ug pagkamatul-id sa imong kasingkasing nga mapanag-iyahan nimo ang ilang yuta, apan tungod kini sa pagkadaotan niining kanasoran nga ang imong Dios nagpagawas kanila gikan sa imong atubangan, ug aron matuman niya ang pulong nga iyang gisaad ngadto sa imong mga katigulangan, ngadto kang Abraham, kang Isaac, ug kang Jacob.

For not for thi riytfulnessis, and equyte of thin herte thou schalt entre that thou welde the lond `of hem; but for thei diden wickidli, thei weren doon awey, whanne thou entridist, and that the Lord schulde fille his word which he bihiyte vndur an ooth to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

6 Busa hibaloi, nga si Yahweh nga imong Dios wala maghatag kanimo niining maayong yuta aron imong panag-iyahon tungod sa imong pagkamatarong, kay ikaw nga tawo gahig ulo.

Therfor wite thou that not for thi riytfulnesses thi Lord God yaf to thee this beste lond in to possessioun, sithen thou art a puple of hardeste nol.

7 Hinumdomi ug ayaw kalimti kung giunsa nimo paghagit si Yahweh nga imong Dios aron masuko ngadto sa kamingawan; gikan sa adlaw nga mibiya ka sa yuta sa Ehipto hangtod sa pag-abot nimo niining dapita, masinupakon ka batok kang Yahweh.

Haue thou mynde, and foryete not, hou in the wildirnesse thou terridist thi Lord God to greet wraththe; fro that dai in which thou yedist out of Egipt `til to this place, thou striuedist euere ayens the Lord.

8 Didto usab sa Horeb gihagit nimo si Yahweh sa kasuko, ug suko na kaayo si Yahweh kanimo nga mahimo ka na niya nga laglagon.

For whi also in Oreb thou terridist hym, and he was wrooth, and wolde do thee awei, whanne Y stiede in to the hil,

9 Sa dihang mitungas ako sa bukid aron sa pagdawat sa papan nga bato, ang papan sa kasabotan nga gibuhat ni Yahweh tali kanimo, mipuyo ako ngadto sa bukid sulod sa 40 ka adlaw ug 40 ka gabii; wala ako mikaon ug tinapay ni miinom ug tubig.

that Y schulde take two tablis of stoon, the tablis of couenaunt which the Lord made with you, and Y continuede in the hil fourti daies and nyytis, and Y eet not breed, and Y drank not watir.

10 Gihatag ni Yahweh kanako ang duha ka papan nga bato nga gisulat pinaagi sa iyang tudlo; ngadto kanila gisulat ang tanang mga butang sama sa tanang mga pulong nga gipahibalo ni Yahweh kanimo sa bukid sa tungatunga sa kalayo sa adlaw sa panagtigom.

And the Lord yaf to me, twey tablis of stoon, euer either wrytun with Goddis fyngur, and conteynynge alle the wordis whiche he spak to you in the hil, fro the myddis of the fier, whanne the cumpany of puple was gaderid togidere.

11 Nahitabo kini sa kataposan niadtong 40 ka adlaw ug 40 ka gabii nga gihatag ni Yahweh kanako ang duha ka papan nga bato, ang papan sa kasabotan.

And whanne fourti daies and so many nyytis hadden passid, the Lord yaf to me twei tablis of stoon, tablis of boond of pees;

12 Miingon si Yahweh kanako, 'Tindog, lugsong dayon gikan dinhi, kay ang imong katawhan, nga imong gidala gikan sa Ehipto, ilang gihugawan ang ilang mga kaugalingon. Dali lang silang nitipas sa dalan nga akong gimando kanila. Nagbuhat sila alang sa ilang mga kaugalingon ug usa ka tinunaw nga larawan.'

and he seide to me, Rise thou, and go doun for hennys soone, for thi puple, which thou leddist out of Egipt, han forsake swiftli the weie which thou schewidist to hem, and thei han maad to hem a yotun calf.

13 Dugang pa niana, nakig-istorya si Yahweh kanako ug miingon, 'Nakita ko kining mga tawhana; mga katawhan sila nga gahig ulo.

And eft the Lord seide to me, `Y se that this puple is of hard nol;

14 Pasagdi ako, aron malaglag ko sila ug wagtangon ang ilang mga ngalan ilalom sa langit, ug magbuhat ako gikan kanimo nga mas kusgan ug mas dako kay kanila.'

suffre thou me, that I alto breke hym, and do awey the name `of hym fro vndur heuene; and Y schal ordeyne thee on a folk which is grettere and strongere than this folk.

15 Busa mitalikod ako ug milugsong gikan sa bukid, ug ang bukid nagkalayo. Ang duha ka papan sa kasabotan nga anaa sa akong mga kamot.

And whanne Y cam doun fro the hil brennynge, and helde with euer either hond twei tablis of boond of pees, and Y seiy,

16 Akong gitan-aw, ug ania, nakasala ka batok kang Yahweh nga imong Dios. Naghulma ka alang sa imong kaugalingon ug usa ka baka. Dali lamang kang mitipas gikan sa dalan nga gimando ni Yahweh kanimo.

that ye hadde synned to youre Lord God, and hadden maad to you a yotun calf, and hadden forsake swiftli the weie of God which he schewide to you,

17 Akong gikuha ang duha ka papan nga bato ug gilabay gikan sa akong mga kamot. Gidugmok ko kini atubangan sa imong mga mata.

Y castide doun the tablis fro myn hondis, and brak tho tablis in youre siyt.

18 Nagyukbo ako pag-usab sa atubangan ni Yahweh sulod sa 40 ka adlaw ug 40 ka gabii; wala ako mikaon sa tinapay ni miinom ug tubig, tungod sa tanang sala nga imong nabuhat, sa pagbuhat niana diin daotan sa panan-aw ni Yahweh, nga nakahagit kaniya diha sa kasuko.

And Y felde doun bifor the Lord as `biforto, in fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y eet not breed, `and drank not watir, for alle youre synnes whiche ye diden ayens the Lord, and terriden hym to `greet wraththe;

19 Kay nahadlok ako sa kasuko ug sa wala pagkahimuot ni Yahweh batok kanimo aron laglagon ka. Apan naminaw usab si Yahweh kanako niadto nga higayon.

for Y dredde the indignacioun and yre of hym, by which he was stirid ayens you, and wolde do you awey. And the Lord herde me also in this tyme.

20 Nasuko pag-ayo si Yahweh kang Aaron aron nga laglagon na unta siya; nag-ampo usab ako alang kang Aaron sa samang higayon.

Also the Lord was wrooth greteli ayens Aaron, and wolde alto breke hym, and Y preiede in lijk maner for hym.

21 Gikuha ko ang imong sala, ang baka nga imong gibuhat, ug gisunog kini, gibunal, ug gidugmok kini pag-ayo, hangtod napino kini sama sa abog. Gilabay ko ang abog ngadto sa sapa nga midagayday gikan sa bukid.

`Forsothe Y took youre synne which ye maden, that is, the calf, and brente it in fier, and Y alto brak in gobetis, and droof outerli in to dust, and castide forth in to the stronde, that cam doun fro the hil.

22 Didto sa Tabera, didto sa Massa, ug didto sa Kibroth Hataaba, gihagit nimo si Yahweh diha sa kapungot.

Also in the brennyng, and in the temptacioun at the watris of ayenseiyng, and in the Sepulcris of Coueytise, ye terriden the Lord;

23 Sa dihang gipadala ka ni Yahweh gikan sa Kadesh Barnea ug miingon, 'Tungas ug panag-iyahi ang yuta nga akong gihatag kanimo,' unya nagmasinupakon ka batok sa gisugo ni Yahweh nga imong Dios, ug wala ka mituo o naminaw sa iyang tingog.

and whanne Y sente you fro Cades Barne, and seide, `Stye ye, and welde the lond which Y yaf to you, and ye dispisiden the comaundement of youre Lord God, and ye bileueden not to him, nether ye wolden here his vois;

24 Nagmasinupakon na kang daan batok kang Yahweh gikan pa sa adlaw nga nailhan ko ikaw.

but euere ye weren rebel, fro the day in which Y bigan to knowe you.

25 Busa mihapa ako sa atubangan ni Yahweh niadtong 40 ka adlaw ug 40 ka gabii, tungod kay miingon siya nga pagalaglagon ka niya.

And Y lay byfore the Lord fourti daies and fourti nyytis, in whiche Y bisouyte hym mekeli, that he schulde not `do awey you, as he manaasside.

26 Nag-ampo ako ngadto kang Yahweh ug miingon, 'O Yahweh nga Ginoo, ayaw laglaga ang imong mga katawhan o ang imong panulondon nga imong giluwas pinaagi sa imong pagkabantogan, diin imong gipagawas sa Ehipto inubanan sa kusgan nga kamot.

And Y preiede, and seide, Lord God, distrye not thi puple, and thin eritage, which thou `ayen bouytist in thi greetnesse, which thou leddist out of Egipt in strong hond.

27 Hinumdomi ang imong sulugoon nga si Abraham, si Isaac, ug si Jacob; ayaw tan-awa ang pagkagahig ulo niining mga tawhana, ni ang ilang pagkadaotan, ni ang ilang sala,

Haue thou mynde of thi seruauntis, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; biholde thou not the hardnesse of this puple, and the wickidnesse, and the synne therof,

28 aron ang yuta diin asa mo kami gikuha magasulti, “Tungod kay wala man sila nadala ni Yahweh ngadto sa yuta nga iyang gisaad kanila, ug tungod kay gidumtan niya sila, iya silang gidala aron patyon ngadto sa kamingawan.”

lest perauenture the dwelleris of the lond, out of which thou leddist vs, seien, The Lord myyte not bryng hem in to the lond which he bihiyte to hem, and he hatide hem; therfor he ledde hem out that he schulde sle hem in wildirnesse;

29 Sanglit katawhan mo sila ug imong panulondon, nga imong gipagawas pinaagi sa imong dakong kusog ug pinaagi sa pagpasundayag sa imong gahom.'

and thei ben thi puple and thin eritage, which thou leddist out in thi greet strengthe, and in thin arm holdun forth.
