Притчи 15
1 Мек отговор отклонява ярост, А оскърбителната дума възбужда гняв.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
2 Езикът на мъдрите изказва знание, А устата на безумните изригват глупост.
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
3 Очите Господни са на всяко място И наблюдава злите и добрите.
The eyes of the LORD [are] in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
4 Благият език е дърво на живот, А извратеността в него съкрушава духа.
A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness in it [is] a breach in the spirit.
5 Безумният презира поуката на баща си, Но който внимава в изобличението, е благоразумен.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
6 В дома на праведния има голямо изобилие, А в доходите на нечестивия има загриженост.
In the house of the righteous [is] much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
7 Устните на мъдрите разсяват знание, А сърцето на безумните не прави така.
The lips of the wise diffuse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish [doeth] not so.
8 Жертвата на нечестивите е мерзост Господу, А молитвата на праведните е приятна Нему.
The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright [is] his delight.
9 Пътят на нечестивия е мерзост Господу, Но Той обича този, който следва правдата.
The way of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD; but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
10 Има тежко наказание за ония, които се отбиват от пътя; И който мрази изобличение ще умре.
Correction [is] grievous to him that forsaketh the way: [and] he that hateth reproof shall die.
11 Адът и погибелта са открити пред Господа, - Колко повече сърцата на човешките чада! (Sheol h7585)
Hell and destruction [are] before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? (Sheol h7585)
12 Присмивателят не обича изобличителя си, Нито ще отива при мъдрите.
A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go to the wise.
13 Весело сърце прави засмяно лице, А от скръбта на сърцето духът се съкрушава.
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
14 Сърцето на разумния търси знание А устата на безумните се хранят с глупост.
The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
15 За наскърбения всичките дни са зли А оня, който е с весело сърце, има всегдашно пируване.
All the days of the afflicted [are] evil: but he that is of a merry heart [hath] a continual feast.
16 По-добро е малкото със страх от Господа, Нежели много съкровища с безпокойствие.
Better [is] little with the fear of the LORD, than great treasure and trouble with it.
17 По-добра е гощавката от зеле с любов, Нежели хранено говедо с омраза.
Better [is] a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred with it.
18 Яростният човек подига препирни, А който скоро не се гневи усмирява крамоли.
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but [he that is] slow to anger appeaseth strife.
19 Пътят на ленивия е като трънен плет, А пътят на праведните е като друм.
The way of the slothful [man is] as a hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous [is] made plain.
20 Мъдър син радва баща си, А безумен човек презира майка си.
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
21 На безумния глупостта е радост, А разумен човек ходи по прав път.
Folly [is] joy to [him that is] destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.
22 Дето няма съвещание намеренията се осуетяват, А в множеството на съветниците те се утвърждават.
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.
23 От отговора на устата си човек изпитва радост, И дума на време казана, колко е добра!
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word [spoken] in due season, how good [it is]!
The way of life [is] above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. (Sheol h7585)
25 Господ съсипва дома на горделивите, А утвърдява предела на вдовицата.
The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.
26 Лошите замисли са мерзост Господу! А чистите думи Му са угодни.
The thoughts of the wicked [are] an abomination to the LORD: but [the words] of the pure [are] pleasant words.
27 Користолюбивият смущава своя си дом, А който мрази даровете ще живее.
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
28 Сърцето на праведния обмисля що да отговаря, А устата на нечестивите изригват зло.
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
29 Господ е далеч от нечестивите, А слуша молитвата на праведните.
The LORD [is] far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
30 Светъл поглед весели сърцето, И добри вести угояват костите.
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart; [and] a good report maketh the bones fat.
31 Ухо, което слуша животворното изобличение, Ще пребивава между мъдрите.
The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
32 Който отхвърля поуката презира своята си душа, А който слуша изобличението придобива разум.
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
33 Страхът от Господа е възпитание в мъдрост, И смирението предшествува славата.
The fear of the LORD [is] the instruction of wisdom: and before honor is humility.
