গীতসংহিতা 85
1 সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। কোরহ বংশের সন্তানদের একটি গীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি তোমার দেশের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দেখিয়েছ; তুমি যাকোবের বংশের সমৃদ্ধি ফিরিয়ে এনেছ।
To the Chief Musician. For the Sons of Korah. A Melody. Thou hast accepted, O Yahweh, thy land, Thou hast brought back the captives of Jacob;
2 তুমি তোমার প্রজাদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করেছ এবং তাদের সব পাপ আবৃত করেছ।
Thou hast taken away, the iniquity of thy people, Thou hast covered, all their sin. (Selah)
3 তুমি তোমার সব ক্রোধ দূরে সরিয়ে রেখেছ এবং তোমার প্রচণ্ড রাগ থেকে ফিরেছ।
Thou hast withdrawn all thine indignation, Thou hast ceased from the glow of thine anger.
4 হে ঈশ্বর, আমাদের পরিত্রাতা, আমাদের পুনরুদ্ধার করো এবং আমাদের প্রতি তোমার অসন্তোষ দূরে সরিয়ে রাখো।
Restore us, O God of our salvation, And take away thy vexation towards us.
5 তুমি কি চিরদিন আমাদের প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ থাকবে? তুমি কি যুগে যুগে তোমার রাগ স্থায়ী করবে?
To times age-abiding, wilt thou be angry with us? Wilt thou prolong thine anger, from generation to generation?
6 তুমি কি আবার আমাদের সঞ্জীবিত করবে না, যেন তোমার প্রজারা তোমাতে আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়?
Wilt not, thou thyself, again give us life, That, thy people, may rejoice in thee.
7 হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার অবিচল প্রেম আমাদের দেখাও, এবং তোমার পরিত্রাণ আমাদের প্রদান করো।
Show us, O Yahweh, thy lovingkindness, And, thy salvation, wilt thou grant us.
8 ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু যা বলেন আমি তা শুনব; তিনি তাঁর প্রজাদের, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত দাসদের, শান্তির অঙ্গীকার করেন; কিন্তু তারা তাদের মূর্খতার পথে ফিরে না যাক।
I will hear, what GOD—Yahweh—will speak, —For he will bespeak prosperity to his people, And to his men of lovingkindness, And to them who return with their heart unto him.
9 নিশ্চয়, যারা তাঁকে সম্ভ্রম করে তাঁর পরিত্রাণ তাদের নিকটবর্তী, যেন তাঁর মহিমা আমাদের দেশে বাস করে।
Surely, near unto them who revere him, is his salvation, That the Glory, may settle down, in our land.
10 প্রেম ও বিশ্বস্ততা একত্রে মিলিত হয়, ধার্মিকতা ও শান্তি পরস্পরকে চুম্বন করে।
Lovingkindness and faithfulness, have met together, Righteousness and prosperity, have kissed each other;
11 বিশ্বস্ততা পৃথিবী থেকে উত্থাপিত হয় এবং ধার্মিকতা স্বর্গ থেকে দৃষ্টিপাত করে।
Faithfulness, out of the earth, doth spring forth, And, righteousness, out of the heavens, hath looked down.
12 সদাপ্রভু যা উত্তম তা অবশ্যই দান করবেন, এবং আমাদের দেশ শস্য উৎপাদন করবে।
Yahweh himself too, will give us the blessing, And, our land, shall yield her increase.
13 ন্যায়পরায়ণতা তাঁর অগ্রগামী হয় এবং তাঁর চলার পথ প্রস্তুত করে।
Righteousness, before him, shall march long, —That he may make, into a way, the steps of its feet.
