1 ১ যিহোৱা মোৰ দীপ্তি, মোৰ পৰিত্ৰাণ; মই কাক ভয় কৰিম? যিহোৱা মোৰ জীৱন ৰক্ষক কোঁঠ, মই কাৰ বাবে ত্ৰাসযুক্ত হম?

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 ২ দুষ্টবোৰে যেতিয়া মোৰ মাংস খাবলৈ ওচৰলৈ আহে, তেতিয়া মোৰ সেই শত্রু আৰু বিৰোধীবোৰ উজুতি খাই পৰে।

When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, even mine adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.

3 ৩ সৈন্যৰ দলেও যদি মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ছাউনি পাতে, মোৰ হৃদয়ে ভয় নকৰিব; মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যদি যুদ্ধও আৰম্ভ হয়, তেতিয়াও মই সাহসেৰে থাকিম।

Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise up against me, even then will I be confident.

4 ৪ যিহোৱাৰ ওচৰত মই এটা বিষয় যাচনা কৰিছোঁ, মই তাকেই অন্বেষণ কৰিম: মই যেন যিহোৱাৰ সৌন্দর্য দেখা পাবলৈ, আৰু তেওঁৰ মন্দিৰত ধ্যান কৰিবলৈ মোৰ গোটেই জীৱন কাল যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত বাস কৰিব পাৰোঁ।

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the graciousness of the LORD, and to visit early in His temple.

5 ৫ আপদৰ কালত তেওঁ মোক নিজ আশ্রয়ত গুপুতে ৰাখিব, নিজৰ তম্বুত মোক লুকুৱাই ৰাখিব; তেওঁ মোক শিলৰ ওপৰত তুলি থব।

For He concealeth me in His pavilion in the day of evil; He hideth me in the covert of His tent; He lifteth me up upon a rock.

6 ৬ যি শত্রুবোৰে মোক চাৰিওফালে বেৰি ধৰিছে, তেওঁলোকতকৈ মোৰ মূৰ উন্নত হব; মই তেওঁৰ তম্বুত আনন্দ জয়ধ্বনিৰে বলি উৎসৰ্গ কৰিম। মই যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে গীত-গান কৰিম!

And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; and I will offer in His tabernacle sacrifices with trumpet-sound; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

7 ৭ হে যিহোৱা, মই মাতিলে, তুমি শুনা। মোক কৃপা কৰা, মোক উত্তৰ দিয়া!

Hear, O LORD, when I call with my voice, and be gracious unto me, and answer me.

8 ৮ মোৰ হৃদয়ে তোমাৰ এই কথাকে ক’লে, “আহাঁ, তোমালোকে মোৰ সাক্ষাৎ পাবলৈ বিচাৰা।” হে যিহোৱা, মই তোমাৰ সাক্ষাৎ পাবলৈ বিচাৰো।

In Thy behalf my heart hath said: 'Seek ye My face'; Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

9 ৯ তোমাৰ মুখ মোৰ পৰা লুকুৱাই নাৰাখিবা; ক্ৰোধত তুমি তোমাৰ দাসক দূৰ নকৰিবা। তুমিয়েই মোৰ সহায় হৈ আহিছা; হে মোৰ পৰিত্ৰাণৰ ঈশ্বৰ, মোক নেৰিবা, মোক পৰিত্যাগ নকৰিবা!

Hide not Thy face from me; put not Thy servant away in anger; Thou hast been my help; cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 ১০ মোৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃয়ে মোক ত্যাগ কৰিলেও, যিহোৱাই মোক তুলি লব।

For though my father and my mother have forsaken me, the LORD will take me up.

11 ১১ হে যিহোৱা, মোৰ শত্রুবোৰৰ কাৰণে, তুমি মোক তোমাৰ পথ শিকোৱা; তুমি মোক সমান পথত চলোৱা।

Teach me Thy way, O LORD; and lead me in an even path, because of them that lie in wait for me.

12 ১২ মোৰ বিৰোধীবোৰৰ ইচ্ছাত তুমি মোক সমর্পণ নকৰিবা; কিয়নো মিছা সাক্ষীবোৰ মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠিছে; তেওঁলোকৰ প্রশ্ৱাসত অত্যাচাৰ ওলাই আহে।

Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries; for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out violence.

13 ১৩ মই বিশ্বাস কৰোঁ যে, জীৱিতসকলৰ দেশত মই যিহোৱাৰ মঙ্গল দেখা পাম!

If I had not believed to look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! —

14 ১৪ তুমি যিহোৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰা; সবল হোৱা; তোমাৰ অন্তঃকৰণ সাহিয়াল হওঁক; পুনৰায় কওঁ, যিহোৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰা।

Wait on the LORD; be strong, and let thy heart take courage; yea, wait thou for the LORD.
