المَزامِير 6

١ 1 لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ عَلَى الآلاتِ الْوَتَرِيَّةِ (الدَّرَجَةُ الثَّامِنَةُ). مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ يَا رَبُّ لَا تُوَبِّخْنِي فِي إبَّانِ غَضَبِكَ، وَلَا تُؤَدِّبْنِي فِي احْتِدَامِ سَخَطِكَ.

To him that excelleth on Neginoth upon the eith tune. A Psalme of Dauid. O lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath.

٢ 2 ارْحَمْنِي يَا رَبُّ لأَنِّي ضَعِيفٌ. اشْفِنِي يَا رَبُّ لأَنَّ عِظَامِي رَاجِفَةٌ،

Haue mercie vpon me, O Lord, for I am weake: O Lord heale me, for my bones are vexed.

٣ 3 وَنَفْسِي مُرْتَعِدَةٌ جِدّاً. وَأَنْتَ يَا رَبُّ فَإِلَى مَتَى (تَنْتَظِرُ)؟

My soule is also sore troubled: but Lord how long wilt thou delay?

٤ 4 ارْجِعْ يَا رَبُّ وَحَرِّرْ نَفْسِي، أَنْقِذْنِي بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ.

Returne, O Lord: deliuer my soule: saue me for thy mercies sake.

٥ 5 إِذْ لَيْسَ فِي عَالَمِ الْمَوْتِ مَنْ يَذْكُرُكَ، أَوْ فِي مَقَرِّ الأَمْوَاتِ مَنْ يُسَبِّحُكَ. (Sheol h7585)

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the graue who shall prayse thee? (Sheol h7585)

٦ 6 لَقَدْ أَرْهَقَنِي تَنَهُّدِي، فَأُغْرِقُ سَرِيرِي فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ بِدُمُوعِي وَأُبَلِّلُ بِها فِرَاشِي.

I fainted in my mourning: I cause my bed euery night to swimme, and water my couch with my teares.

٧ 7 وَهَنَتْ عَيْنَايَ مِنْ فَرْطِ الْغَمِّ، وَكَلَّتَا بِسَبَبِ جَمِيعِ خُصُومِي.

Mine eye is dimmed for despight, and sunke in because of all mine enemies.

٨ 8 ابْتَعِدُوا عَنِّي يَا جَمِيعَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ بُكَائِي.

Away from mee all ye workers of iniquitie: for the Lord hath heard the voyce of my weeping.

٩ 9 سَمِعَ الرَّبُّ تَضَرُّعِي. الرَّبُّ يَتَقَبَّلُ صَلاتِي.

The Lord hath heard my petition: the Lord will receiue my prayer.

١٠ 10 لِيَخْزَ جَمِيعُ أَعْدَائِي وَيَرْتَاعُوا جِدّاً، وَلْيَتَرَاجَعُوا إِذْ لَحِقَ بِهِمِ الْعَارُ فَجْأَةً.

All mine enemies shall be confounded and sore vexed: they shall be turned backe, and put to shame suddenly.
