المَزامِير 101

١ 1 مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ سَأُشِيدُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَعَدْلِكَ يَا رَبُّ، وَلَكَ أُرَنِّمُ.

A Psalme of David. I will sing mercie and iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

٢ 2 أَسْلُكُ بِتَعَقُّلٍ فِي طَرِيقِ الْكَمَالِ. مَتَى تَأْتِي يَا رَبُّ لِمَعُونَتِي؟ أَسْلُكُ فِي وَسَطِ بَيْتِي بِاسْتِقَامَةِ قَلْبِي.

I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

٣ 3 لَنْ أَضَعَ نُصْبَ عَيْنَيَّ أَمْراً بَاطِلاً، فَإِنِّي أُبْغِضُ عَمَلَ الضَّالِّينَ لِئَلّا يَلْتَصِقَ بِي.

I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

٤ 4 لِيُفَارِقْنِي الْقَلْبُ الْمُنْحَرِفُ فَلَا أَرْتَكِبَ شَرّاً.

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will knowe none euill.

٥ 5 أُبِيدُ كُلَّ مَنْ يَغْتَابُ قَرِيبَهُ سِرّاً؛ وَذُو الْعَيْنِ الْمُتَشَامِخَةِ وَالْقَلْبِ الْمُتَكَبِّرِ لَا أَحْتَمِلُهُ.

Him that priuily slandereth his neighbour, wil I destroy: him that hath a proude looke and hie heart, I cannot suffer.

٦ 6 تَرْعَى عَيْنَايَ الأُمَنَاءَ فِي الأَرْضِ لِيَسْكُنُوا مَعِي. وَخُدَّامِي هُمُ السَّالِكُونَ فِي طَرِيقِ الكَمَالِ.

Mine eyes shalbe vnto the faithfull of the lande, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfite way, he shall serue me.

٧ 7 لَا يُقِيمُ دَاخِلَ بَيْتِي الْغَشَّاشُونَ، وَالْكَذَبَةُ لَا يَمْثُلُونَ أَمَامِي.

There shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.

٨ 8 أَقْضِي فِي كُلِّ صَبَاحٍ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الأَشْرَارِ فِي أَرْضِنَا، حَتَّى أَسْتَأْصِلَ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ الرَّبِّ كُلَّ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ.

Betimes will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquitie from the Citie of the Lord.
