A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
غَضَبُ ٱلْجَاهِلِ يُعْرَفُ فِي يَوْمِهِ، أَمَّا سَاتِرُ ٱلْهَوَانِ فَهُوَ ذَكِيٌّ.
يُبْدِي الأَحْمَقُ غَيْظَهُ فِي لَحْظَةٍ، أَمَّا الْعَاقِلُ فَيَتَجَاهَلُ الإِهَانَةَ.
