The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel.
طَرِيقُ ٱلْجَاهِلِ مُسْتَقِيمٌ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ، أَمَّا سَامِعُ ٱلْمَشُورَةِ فَهُوَ حَكِيمٌ.
يَبْدُو سَبِيلُ الأَحْمَقِ صَالِحاً فِي عَيْنَيْهِ، أَمَّا الْحَكِيمُ فَيَسْتَمِعُ إِلَى الْمَشُورَةِ.
অজ্ঞানীৰ পথ তেওঁৰ নিজৰ দৃষ্টিত শুদ্ধ; কিন্তু জ্ঞানীজনে পৰামৰ্শ শুনে।

मूर्ख को अपनी ही चाल सीधी जान पड़ती है, परन्तु जो सम्मति मानता, वह बुद्धिमान है।
मूर्ख की दृष्टि में उसकी अपनी कार्यशैली योग्य लगती है, किंतु ज्ञानवान परामर्श की विवेचना करता है.
