I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

وَأَعْرِفُ كَيْفَ أَعِيشُ فِي الْعَوَزِ، وَكَيْفَ أَعِيشُ فِي الْوَفْرَةِ. فَإِنِّي، فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَفِي جَمِيعِ الأَحْوَالِ، مُتَدَرِّبٌ عَلَى الشَّبَعِ وَعَلَى الْجُوعِ، وَعَلَى الْعَيْشِ فِي الْوَفْرَةِ أَوْ فِي الْعَوَزِ.

Թէ՛ գիտեմ նուաստանալ, թէ՛ ալ գիտեմ առատութեան մէջ ըլլալ: Ամէն բանի մէջ՝ ամէն կերպով վարժուած եմ թէ՛ կշտանալ, թէ՛ ալ անօթենալ, թէ՛ առատութեան եւ թէ կարօտութեան մէջ ըլլալ:
