Vì Ðức Chúa Jêsus đương truyền cho tà ma phải ra khỏi người đó mà nó đã ám từ lâu; dầu họ giữ người, xiềng và còng chơn lại, người cứ bẻ xiềng tháo còng, và bị quỉ dữ đem vào nơi đồng vắng.
Trước kia quỷ thường điều khiển anh, dù anh bị còng tay xiềng chân, quỷ cũng xúi anh bẻ còng bứt xiềng, chạy vào hoang mạc.
