وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الرَّابِعِ قَامَ مُبَكِّراً لِلذِّهَابِ، فَقَالَ وَالِدُ الْفَتَاةِ لِصِهْرِهِ: «كُلْ لُقْمَةَ خُبْزٍ تَسْنِدُ بِها قَلْبَكَ وَمِنْ ثَمَّ تَمْضُونَ»

וַֽיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הָרְבִיעִי וַיַּשְׁכִּימוּ בַבֹּקֶר וַיָּקָם לָלֶכֶת וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִי הַֽנַּעֲרָה אֶל־חֲתָנוֹ סְעָד לִבְּךָ פַּת־לֶחֶם וְאַחַר תֵּלֵֽכוּ׃
