Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”

Եւ աշակերտներից շատերը, երբ լսեցին, ասացին. «Խիստ է այդ խօսքը. ո՞վ կարող է այն լսել»:

ததே³த்த²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா தஸ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யாணாம் அநேகே பரஸ்பரம் அகத²யந் இத³ம்’ கா³ட⁴ம்’ வாக்யம்’ வாக்யமீத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ க​: ஸ்²ரோதும்’ ஸ²க்ருயாத்?
తదేత్థం శ్రుత్వా తస్య శిష్యాణామ్ అనేకే పరస్పరమ్ అకథయన్ ఇదం గాఢం వాక్యం వాక్యమీదృశం కః శ్రోతుం శక్రుయాత్?
ตเทตฺถํ ศฺรุตฺวา ตสฺย ศิษฺยาณามฺ อเนเก ปรสฺปรมฺ อกถยนฺ อิทํ คาฒํ วากฺยํ วากฺยมีทฺฤศํ ก: โศฺรตุํ ศกฺรุยาตฺ?
