But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter. I did not know that they had devised plans against me, saying, “Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, and let’s cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.”
وَأَنَا كَخَرُوفٍ دَاجِنٍ يُسَاقُ إِلَى ٱلذَّبْحِ، وَلَمْ أَعْلَمْ أَنَّهُمْ فَكَّرُوا عَلَيَّ أَفْكَارًا، قَائِلِينَ: «لِنُهْلِكِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ بِثَمَرِهَا، وَنَقْطَعْهُ مِنْ أَرْضِ ٱلْأَحْيَاءِ، فَلَا يُذْكَرَ بَعْدُ ٱسْمُهُ». |
وَلَكِنِّي كُنْتُ كَحَمَلٍ أَلِيفٍ يُسَاقُ إِلَى الذَّبْحِ، لَمْ أُدْرِكْ أَنَّهُمْ يَتَآمَرُونَ عَلَيَّ قَائِلِينَ: «لِنُتْلِفِ الشَّجَرَةَ وَثِمَارَهَا، وَلْنَسْتَأْصِلْهُ مِنْ أَرْضِ الأَحْيَاءِ فَيَنْدَثِرَ اسْمُهُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.» |

Mənsə kəsilməyə aparılan müti quzu kimi idim, bilmirdim ki, onlar «ağacı və meyvəsini məhv edək, onu dirilər arasından yox edək ki, adı bir daha xatırlanmasın» deyərək mənə qəsd qururlar.

Но аз бях като питомно агне, водено на клане, И не знаех, че бяха скроили замисли против мене, казвайки: Нека свалим дървото с плода му, И нека го отсечем от земята на живите, За да се не помни вече името му.

我却像柔顺的羊羔被牵到宰杀之地; 我并不知道他们设计谋害我, 说:我们把树连果子都灭了吧! 将他从活人之地剪除, 使他的名不再被纪念。

Mais moi, comme un agneau, [ou comme] un bœuf qui est mené pour être égorgé, je n'ai point su qu'ils eussent fait contre moi quelque machination, [en disant]: détruisons l'arbre avec son fruit, et l'exterminons de la terre des vivants, et qu'on ne se souvienne plus de son nom.
Et moi, j’ai été comme un agneau plein de douceur que l’on porte pour en faire une victime; et je n’ai pas su qu’ils formaient contre moi des projets, disant: Mettons du bois dans son pain, rayons-le de la terre des vivants, et que son nom ne soit plus rappelé dans la mémoire.

Mais moi, comme un agneau innocent conduit au sacrifice, je ne remarquais rien. Ils avaient conçu contre moi un mauvais dessein, disant: Allons, mêlons du bois à son pain, effaçons-le de la terre des vivants, et que nul ne se souvienne de son nom.
que j’étais, moi, semblable à une brebis docile qu’on mène à l’abattoir; ce que je ne savais pas, c’est que c’était contre moi qu’ils formaient de mauvais desseins: "Allons, détruisons l’arbre dans sa sève, extirpons-le de la terre des vivants, et que son nom ne soit plus mentionné!"
