Will not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases that which is not his, and who enriches himself by extortion! How long?’
فَهَلَّا يَنْطِقُ هَؤُلَاءِ كُلُّهُمْ بِهَجْوٍ عَلَيْهِ وَلُغْزِ شَمَاتَةٍ بِهِ، وَيَقُولُونَ: وَيْلٌ لِلْمُكَثِّرِ مَا لَيْسَ لَهُ! إِلَى مَتَى؟ وَلِلْمُثَقِّلِ نَفْسَهُ رُهُونًا! |
وَلَكِنْ لَا يَلْبَثُ أَنْ يَسْخَرَ مِنْهُ سَبَايَاهُ قَائِلِينَ:’وَيْلٌ لِمَنْ يُكَوِّمُ لِنَفْسِهِ الأَسْلابَ، وَيَثْرَى عَلَى حِسَابِ مَا نَهَبَ. إِنَّمَا إِلَى مَتَى؟‘ |
এই লোকসকল তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে দৃষ্টান্ত স্বৰূপ আৰু তেওঁৰ সম্পৰ্কে বিদ্ৰূপজনক বাক্য নক’ব নে? তেওঁলোকে ক’ব, ‘যি নিজৰ নহয়, তেনে সন্তাপ যিজনে বৃদ্ধি কৰে! তেনেদৰে তুমি কিমান দিন প্ৰতিজ্ঞাৰ বোজাৰ ভাৰ বৃদ্ধি কৰিবা?

এই সব লোকেরা কি তার বিরুদ্ধে দৃষ্টান্ত ও তার বিষয়ে বিদ্রূপের প্রবাদ তুলবে না এবং বলবে, ‘ধিক তাকে যে অন্যের ধনে বৃদ্ধি পায়, কারণ তুমি কতকাল ধরে বন্ধকের ভার বৃদ্ধি করবে যা তুমি নিয়েছ?’

这些国的民岂不都要提起诗歌并俗语讥刺他说: 祸哉!迦勒底人,你增添不属自己的财物, 多多取人的当头,要到几时为止呢?

Shall not all these take up a derision against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him who increases that which is not his (how long?) and who loads himself with pledges!

Mitämaks, nämät kaikki pitää hänestä sananlaskun tekemän, ja puheen ja tapauksen, ja sanoman: voi sitä, joka kokoo tavaransa muiden hyvyydestä! kuinka kauvan se kestää? ja sälyttää paljon lokaa päällensä.

Est-ce que tous ceux-ci ne le prendront pas pour un sujet de parabole, et pour le mot de leurs énigmes sur lui, et ne dira-t-on pas: Malheur à celui qui multiplie des biens qui ne sont pas à lui? jusques à quand accumulera-t-il contre lui-même une boue épaisse?
Ne sera-t-il pas pour tous un sujet de sarcasme, De railleries et d’énigmes? On dira: Malheur à celui qui accumule ce qui n’est pas à lui! Jusques à quand?… Malheur à celui qui augmente le fardeau de ses dettes!
Est-ce que ceux-ci, eux tous, ne prononceront pas à son sujet des sentences, des fables et des énigmes à son adresse? On dira: Malheur à qui amasse ce qui n’est pas à lui, — jusques à quand? — à qui met sur soi un fardeau de gages!
Tous ceux-là ne feront-ils pas à son sujet des proverbes, des railleries et des énigmes? On dira: Malheur à celui qui accumule ce qui n'est pas à lui, - jusqu'à quand? - et qui entasse sur soi des gages!
Toutes ne diront-elles pas sur lui une chanson et des railleries et des sarcasmes, parlant ainsi: Malheur à qui accumulait ce qui n'était pas à lui! jusques à quand?… et à qui se chargeait d'emprunts à gages!
Mais toutes ces choses ne feront-elles pas de lui un sujet d'histoires et de récits qu'on se répétera? On dira: Malheur à l'homme qui, sans se lasser, accumule les biens d'autrui, et fait cruellement sentir le poids de son collier!
Eh bien! ceux-ci, tous ensemble, ne feront-ils pas des satires contre lui, des épigrammes et des énigmes piquantes à son adresse? On dira: "Malheur à qui accapare le bien d’autrui! (Jusques à quand?) Malheur à qui accumule sur sa tête le poids de gages usuraires!

Werden nicht diese alle über ihn einen Spruch und eine Spottrede anheben, Rätsel auf ihn? Und man wird sagen: Wehe dem, der aufhäuft, was nicht sein ist! auf wie lange? Und der Pfandlast auf sich ladet!

Was gilt's aber? Dieselbigen alle werden einen Spruch von ihm machen und eine Sage und Sprichwort und werden sagen: Wehe dem, der sein Gut mehret mit fremdem Gut! Wie lange wird's währen? und ladet nur viel Schlammes auf sich.

οὐχὶ ταῦτα πάντα παραβολὴν κατ’ αὐτοῦ λήμψονται καὶ πρόβλημα εἰς διήγησιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐροῦσιν οὐαὶ ὁ πληθύνων ἑαυτῷ τὰ οὐκ ὄντα αὐτοῦ ἕως τίνος καὶ βαρύνων τὸν κλοιὸν αὐτοῦ στιβαρῶς
શું લોકો તેની વિરુદ્ધ દ્રષ્ટાંત આપીને તથા મહેણાં મારીને એવું નહિ કહે કે, ‘જે પોતાનું નથી તેનો સંગ્રહ કરનારને અફસોસ? ક્યાં સુધી તું ગીરવે લીધેલી વસ્તુનું વજન ઊંચકાવે છે?’
