يُقَدِّمُهُ سَيِّدُهُ إِلَى ٱللهِ، وَيُقَرِّبُهُ إِلَى ٱلْبَابِ أَوْ إِلَى ٱلْقَائِمَةِ، وَيَثْقُبُ سَيِّدُهُ أُذْنَهُ بِٱلْمِثْقَبِ، فَيَخْدِمُهُ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. |
يَأْخُذُهُ سَيِّدُهُ إِلَى قُضَاةِ الْمَدِينَةِ، ثُمَّ يُقِيمُهُ لِصْقَ الْبَابِ أَوْ قَائِمَتِهِ، وَيَثْقُبُ أُذُنَهُ بِمِخْرَزٍ، فَيُصْبِحُ خَادِماً لَهُ مَدَى الْحَيَاةِ. |
այնուհետեւ բերի իր տան դռան սեմի մօտ, հերիւնով ծակի նրա ականջը, եւ նա նրան թող ծառայի ցմահ:

তাহলে তার প্রভু অবশ্যই তাকে ঈশ্বরের কাছে নিয়ে যাবে এবং সে তাকে দরজার কিম্বা দরজার চৌকাঠের কাছে উপস্থিত করবে, সেখানে তার প্রভু পেরেক মাধ্যমে তার কান বিদ্ধ করবে; তখন সে জীবনের বাকি দিন গুলিতে সেই প্রভুর দাস থাকবে।
তবে তার মালিক অবশ্যই তাকে ঈশ্বরের সামনে নিয়ে যাবেন। মালিক তাকে দরজার কাছে বা দরজার চৌকাঠের কাছে নিয়ে যাবেন এবং একটি কাঁটা দিয়ে তার কান বিদীর্ণ করে দেবেন। তখন সে সারা জীবনের জন্য তাঁর দাস হয়ে যাবে।

προσάξει αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸ κριτήριον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τότε προσάξει αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν ἐπὶ τὸν σταθμόν καὶ τρυπήσει αὐτοῦ ὁ κύριος τὸ οὖς τῷ ὀπητίῳ καὶ δουλεύσει αὐτῷ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
જો આવું બને તો ગુલામના માલિકે તેને ઈશ્વરના સમક્ષ લાવવો અને બારસાખ આગળ ઊભો રાખીને સોયથી તેનો કાન વીંધવો; એટલે તે કાયમને માટે તેના માલિકનો ગુલામ બની રહેશે.
