The king was much moved, and went up to the room over the gate and wept. As he went, he said, “My son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! I wish I had died instead of you, Absalom, my son, my son!”
فَٱنْزَعَجَ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَصَعِدَ إِلَى عِلِّيَّةِ ٱلْبَابِ وَكَانَ يَبْكِي وَيَقُولُ هكَذَا وَهُوَ يَتَمَشَّى: «يَا ٱبْنِي أَبْشَالُومُ، يَا ٱبْنِي، يَا ٱبْنِي أَبْشَالُومُ! يَالَيْتَنِي مُتُّ عِوَضًا عَنْكَ! يَا أَبْشَالُومُ ٱبْنِي، يَا ٱبْنِي».
فَارْتَعَشَ الْمَلِكُ وَصَعِدَ إِلَى عِلِّيَّةِ الْبَوَّابَةِ بَاكِياً يَذْرَعُ أَرْضَ الْحُجْرَةِ قَائِلاً: «يَا ابْنِي، يَا ابْنِي أَبْشَالُومُ. يَا لَيْتَنِي مُتُّ عِوَضاً عَنْكَ يَا أَبْشَالُومُ يَا ابْنِي. آهِ يَا ابْنِي».
তেতিয়া ৰজাই অধৈৰ্য হৈ নগৰৰ দুৱাৰৰ ওপৰৰ কোঁঠালিলৈ উঠি ক্ৰন্দন কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে৷ আৰু ইফাল-সিফালে ফুৰি ক’লে, “হায় মোৰ পুত্ৰ অবচালোম! হায় মোৰ পুত্ৰ! হায় মোৰ পুত্ৰ অবচালোম! তোমাৰ সলনি মই মৰা হ’লেই ভাল আছিল! হায় অবচালোম! হায় মোৰ পুত্ৰ! মোৰ পুত্ৰ!”

রাজামশাই কেঁপে উঠেছিলেন। তিনি সদর-দরজার উপরের ঘরে গিয়ে কেঁদেছিলেন। যেতে যেতে তিনি বললেন: “বাছা অবশালোম! আমার ছেলে, আমার ছেলে অবশালোম! তোমার পরিবর্তে শুধু আমি যদি মরতে পারতাম—হে অবশালোম, আমার ছেলে, আমার ছেলে!”

王就心里伤恸,上城门楼去哀哭,一面走一面说:“我儿押沙龙啊!我儿,我儿押沙龙啊!我恨不得替你死,押沙龙啊,我儿!我儿!”

The king [realized that he meant that Absalom was dead, so he] became (extremely distressed/overcome with grief), and he went up to the room above the gateway and cried. While he was going up, he kept crying out, “O, my son Absalom! My son! O, my son Absalom, I desire/wish that I had died instead of you!”
Then the king was deeply unnerved, and he went up to the room over the gate and wept. As he went he grieved, “My son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! I wish I had died instead of you, Absalom, my son, my son!”

C’est pourquoi le roi contristé monta dans la chambre au-dessus de la porte, et pleura. Et il disait en montant: Mon fils Absalom! Absalom mon fils! qui est-ce qui me donnera que je meure moi-même pour toi? Absalom mon fils! mon fils Absalom!
Alors le roi, saisi d’émotion, monta dans la chambre au-dessus de la porte et pleura. Il disait en marchant: Mon fils Absalom! Mon fils, mon fils Absalom! Que ne suis-je mort à ta place! Absalom, mon fils, mon fils!

Da ward der König traurig und ging hin auf den Saal im Tor und weinete; und im Gehen sprach er also: Mein Sohn Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn Absalom! Wollte Gott, ich müßte für dich sterben! O Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn!

Da ward der König sehr bewegt und ging hinauf ins Obergemach im Tor und weinte; und im Gehen sprach er: «Mein Sohn Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn Absalom! Ach, daß ich doch statt deiner gestorben wäre! O Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn!»
Und der König zitterte und stieg hinauf auf den Söller des Tores und weinte; und so sprach er im Gehen: Mein Sohn Absalom! Mein Sohn, mein Sohn, Absalom! O, wäre ich doch an deiner Stelle gestorben, Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn!

ତହିଁରେ ରାଜା ଅତି କମ୍ପିତ ହୋଇ ନଗରଦ୍ୱାର-ଉପରିସ୍ଥ କୋଠରିକୁ ଯାଇ ରୋଦନ କଲେ; ପୁଣି ସେ ଯାଉ ଯାଉ ଏପରି କହିଲେ, “ହାୟ ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବଶାଲୋମ! ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର, ଆମ୍ଭ ପୁତ୍ର ଅବଶାଲୋମ! ହୁଏତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଦଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମରିଥାʼନ୍ତୁ, ହାୟ ଅବଶାଲୋମ! ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର, ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର!”

तब बादशाह बहुत बेचैन हो गया और उस कोठरी की तरफ़ जो फाटक के ऊपर थी रोता हुआ चला और चलते चलते यूँ कहता जाता था, “हाय मेरे बेटे अबीसलोम! मेरे बेटे! मेरे बेटे अबीसलोम! काश मैं तेरे बदले मर जाता! ऐ अबीसलोम! मेरे बेटे! मेरे बेटे।”

Vua rất xúc động, bỏ đi lên phòng trên cổng thành, vừa đi vừa khóc than: “Áp-sa-lôm con ơi, con ta ơi! Áp-sa-lôm ơi! Ước gì ta được chết thay con. Áp-sa-lôm ơi! Con ơi! Con ta ơi!”
Ọba sì kẹ́dùn púpọ̀ ó sì gòkè lọ, sí yàrá tí ó wà lórí òkè ibodè, ó sì sọkún; báyìí ni ó sì ń wí bí ó ti ń lọ, “Ọmọ mi Absalomu! Ọmọ mi, ọmọ mí Absalomu! Á à! Ìbá ṣe pé èmi ni ó kú ní ipò rẹ̀! Absalomu ọmọ mi, ọmọ mi!”
