Absalom and all the men of Israel said, “The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel.” For the LORD had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil on Absalom.
فَقَالَ أَبْشَالُومُ وَكُلُّ رِجَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: «إِنَّ مَشُورَةَ حُوشَايَ ٱلْأَرْكِيِّ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ مَشُورَةِ أَخِيتُوفَلَ». فَإِنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ أَمَرَ بِإِبْطَالِ مَشُورَةِ أَخِيتُوفَلَ ٱلصَّالِحَةِ، لِكَيْ يُنْزِلَ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلشَّرَّ بِأَبْشَالُومَ. |
فَقَالَ أَبْشَالُومُ وَسَائِرُ رِجَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: «إِنَّ رَأْيَ حُوشَايَ الأَرْكِيِّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ رَأْيِ أَخِيتُوفَلَ». لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُبْطِلَ مَشُورَةَ أَخِيتُوفَلَ الصَّائِبَةَ لِكَيْ يَحُلَّ الشَّرُّ بِأَبْشَالُومَ. |
তেতিয়া অবচালোম আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলে ক’লে, “অহীথোফলৰ পৰামৰ্শতকৈ অৰ্কীয়া হূচয়ৰ দিহাই উত্তম।” কিয়নো অবচালোমৰ ওপৰত অমঙ্গল ঘটাবৰ কাৰণে অহীথোফলৰ উত্তম পৰামৰ্শ ব্যৰ্থ কৰিবলৈ যিহোৱাই সেই বিষয়ে থিৰ কৰিছিল।

পরে অবশালোম ও ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত লোক বলল, “অহীথোফলের পরিকল্পনার থেকে অর্কীয় হূশের পরিকল্পনা ভাল৷” বাস্তুবিক সদাপ্রভু যেন অবশালোমের ওপর অমঙ্গল ঘটাতে পারেন, তার জন্য অহীথোফলের ভাল পরিকল্পনা ব্যর্থ করার জন্য সদাপ্রভু এটা স্থির করেছিলেন৷
অবশালোম ও সব ইস্রায়েলী লোকজন বলল, “অর্কীয় হূশয়ের পরামর্শটি অহীথোফলের দেওয়া পরামর্শের তুলনায় ভালো।” কারণ অবশালোমের উপর বিপর্যয় আনার জন্য সদাপ্রভুই অহীথোফলের ভালো পরামর্শটি বানচাল করে দেবেন বলে ঠিক করে রেখেছিলেন।

Absalom and all the other Israeli men [who were with him] said, “What Hushai suggests is better than what Ahithophel suggested.” The reason that happened was that Yahweh had determined that if they would accept the good advice that Ahithophel had given them, [they would have been able to defeat/kill David]. But [as a result of their doing what Hushai suggested], Yahweh would cause a disaster to happen to Absalom.
Then Absalom and the men of Israel said, “Hushai the Arkite's advice is better than Ahithophel's.” Yahweh had ordained the rejection of Ahithophel's good advice in order to bring destruction on Absalom.
And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite [is] better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.

Niin sanoi Absalom ja jokainen mies Israelista: Husain Arkilaisen neuvo on parempi kuin Ahitophelin. Mutta Herra asetti sen niin, että Ahitophelin hyvä neuvo estettiin, että Herra saattais Absalomille onnettomuuden.
Silloin sanoivat Absalom ja kaikki Israelin miehet: "Arkilaisen Huusain neuvo on parempi kuin Ahitofelin neuvo". Sillä Herra oli säätänyt sen näin, tehdäkseen tyhjäksi Ahitofelin hyvän neuvon, että Herra saattaisi Absalomin onnettomuuteen.

Et Absalom et tous les hommes d’Israël dirent: Le conseil de Hushaï, l’Arkite, est meilleur que le conseil d’Akhitophel. Et l’Éternel avait décrété d’annuler le bon conseil d’Akhitophel, pour que l’Éternel fasse venir le mal sur Absalom.
Alors Absalom et tous les hommes d'Israël dirent: Le conseil de Cusaï Arkite est meilleur que le conseil d'Achithophel; car l'Eternel avait décrété que le conseil d'Achithophel, qui était le plus utile [pour Absalom], fût dissipé, afin de faire venir le mal sur Absalom.
Alors Absalom dit et tous les hommes d’Israël: Le conseil de Chusaï, l’Arachite, est meilleur que le conseil d’Achitophel. Ainsi par la volonté du Seigneur fut dissipé le conseil utile d’Achitophel, afin que le Seigneur amenât le malheur sur Absalom.
Absalom et tous les gens d’Israël dirent: Le conseil de Huschaï, l’Arkien, vaut mieux que le conseil d’Achitophel. Or l’Éternel avait résolu d’anéantir le bon conseil d’Achitophel, afin d’amener le malheur sur Absalom.

Et Absalom et tous les hommes d'Israël dirent: Mieux vaut le conseil d'Husaï d'Erech que le conseil d'Achitophel. Or l'Éternel avait résolu de rendre inutile le conseil d'Achitophel, qui était le bon, afin d'attirer le désastre sur Absalom.
Absalon et tout Israël s'écrièrent: Le conseil de Chusaï d'Arach vaut mieux que le conseil d'Achitophel. Et le Seigneur voulut que le sage dessein d'Achitophel fût confondu, afin que le Seigneur fit tomber sur Absalon toute sorte de maux.
Absalon et tous les Israélites s’écrièrent: "Le conseil de Houchaï l’Arkéen vaut mieux que celui d’Ahitofel." (L’Eternel avait voulu déjouer ainsi le sage conseil d’Ahitofel, afin de conduire Absalon à sa perte.)

“അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തെക്കാൾ അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായിയുടെ ഉപദേശം കൊള്ളാം,” എന്ന് അബ്ശാലോമും സകല ഇസ്രായേലും പറഞ്ഞു. അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ നല്ല ആലോചന നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കാനും അങ്ങനെ അബ്ശാലോമിനു സർവനാശം വരുത്താനും യഹോവ നിർണയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Áp-sa-lôm và mọi người nói: “Mưu của Hu-sai hay hơn kế của A-hi-tô-phe,” vì Chúa Hằng Hữu đã làm cho mưu của A-hi-tô-phe bị bác bỏ để giáng họa lên Áp-sa-lôm.
