فَوَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَقَتَلْتُهُ لِأَنِّي عَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ لَا يَعِيشُ بَعْدَ سُقُوطِهِ، وَأَخَذْتُ ٱلْإِكْلِيلَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَٱلسِّوارَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَى ذِرَاعِهِ وَأَتَيْتُ بِهِمَا إِلَى سَيِّدِي هَهُنَا».
فَوَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَقَتَلْتُهُ، لأَنَّنِي أَدْرَكْتُ أَنَّهُ مَيْتٌ لَا مَحَالَةَ بَعْدَ سُقُوطِهِ، فَأَخَذْتُ الإِكْلِيلَ الَّذِي فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ وَالسُّوَارَ الَّذِي عَلَى ذِرَاعِهِ وَأَتَيْتُ بِهِمَا إِلَى سَيِّدِي».

માટે તેની પાસે ઊભા રહીને મેં તેને મારી નાખ્યો, કેમ કે હું જાણતો હતો કે પડી ગયા પછી તે જીવવાનો નથી. તેના માથા પરનો મુગટ તથા તેના હાથ પરના કડાં લઈ લીધાં. તે અહીં તમારી પાસે લાવ્યો છું, મારા માલિક.”
