< Zechariah 4 >
1 Angẹli tí ó ń bá mi sọ̀rọ̀ sì tún dé, ó sì jí mi, bí ọkùnrin tí a jí lójú oorun rẹ̀,
And the aungel turnede ayen, that spak in me, and reiside me, as a man that is reisid of his sleep.
2 ó sì wí fún mi pé, “Kí ni ìwọ rí?” Mo sì wí pé, “Mo wò, sì kíyèsi i, ọ̀pá fìtílà tí gbogbo rẹ̀ jẹ́ wúrà, pẹ̀lú àwokòtò rẹ̀ lórí rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú fìtílà méje rẹ̀ lórí rẹ̀, àti ẹnu méje fún fìtílà méjèèje, tí ó wà lórí rẹ̀.
And he seide to me, What seest thou? And Y seide, Y saiy, and lo! a candilstike al of gold, and the laumpe therof on the heed therof, and seuene lanternes therof on it, and seuene vessels for to holde oyle to the lanternes, that weren on the heed therof.
3 Igi olifi méjì sì wà létí rẹ̀, ọ̀kan ní apá ọ̀tún àwokòtò náà, àti èkejì ní apá òsì rẹ̀.”
And twei olyues there onne, oon of the riythalf `of the laumpe, and `an other on the left half therof.
4 Mo sì dáhùn mo sì wí fún angẹli tí ó ń bá mi sọ̀rọ̀, pé, “Kín ni wọ̀nyí, olúwa mi?”
And Y answeride, and seide to the aungel that spak in me, and Y seide, What ben these thingis, my lord?
5 Angẹli tí ó ń bá mi sọ̀rọ̀ dáhùn ó sì wí fún mi pé, “Ìwọ kò mọ ohun tí àwọn wọ̀nyí jásí?” Mo sì wí pé, “Èmi kò mọ̀ ọ́n, olúwa mi.”
And the aungel that spak in me, answeride, and seide to me, Whether thou woist not what ben these thingis? And Y seide, No, my lord.
6 Ó sì dáhùn ó sì wí fún mi pé, “Èyí ni ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa sí Serubbabeli tó wí pé: ‘Kì í ṣe nípa ipá, kì í ṣe nípa agbára, bí kò ṣe nípa Ẹ̀mí mi,’ ni Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun wí.
And he answeride, and seide to me, and spak, This is the word of the Lord, seiynge to Sorobabel, Not in oost, nether in strengthe, but in my spirit, seith the Lord of oostis.
7 “Ta ni ìwọ, ìwọ òkè ńlá? Ìwọ yóò di pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ níwájú Serubbabeli: òun yóò sì fi ariwo mú òkúta téńté orí rẹ̀ wá, yóò máa kígbe wí pé, ‘Ọlọ́run bùkún fun! Ọlọ́run bùkún fun!’”
Who art thou, greet hil, bifore Sorobabel in to pleyn? and he schal lede out the firste stoon, and schal make euene grace to grace therof.
8 Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa sì tọ̀ mí wá, wí pé:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
9 “Ọwọ́ Serubbabeli ni a ti ṣe ìpìlẹ̀ ilé yìí, ọwọ́ rẹ̀ ni yóò sì parí rẹ̀; ìwọ yóò sì mọ̀ pé, Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun ni ó rán mi sí i yín.
and seide, The hondis of Sorobabel foundiden this hous, and the hondis of hym schulen perfourme it; and ye schulen wite, that the Lord of oostis sente me to you.
10 “Ṣùgbọ́n ta ni ha kẹ́gàn ọjọ́ ohun kékeré? Nítorí wọn ó yọ̀ nígbà ti wọ́n bá rí okùn ìwọ̀n nì lọ́wọ́ Serubbabeli. “(Àwọn méje wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ojú Olúwa, tí ó ń sáré síyìn-ín sọ́hùn-ún ní gbogbo ayé.)”
Who forsothe dispiside litle daies? and thei schulen be glad, and schulen se a stoon of tyn in the hond of Sorobabel. These ben seuene iyen of the Lord, that rennen aboute in to al erthe.
11 Mo sì béèrè, mo sì sọ fún un pé, “Kí ni àwọn igi olifi méjì wọ̀nyí jásí, tí ó wà ní apá ọ̀tún fìtílà àti ní apá òsì rẹ̀?”
And Y answeride, and seide to hym, What ben these tweyne olyues on the riythalf of the candilstike, and at the lift-half therof?
12 Mo sì tún dáhùn, mo sì sọ fún un pé, “Kí ni àwọn ẹ̀ka méjì igi olifi wọ̀nyí jásí, tí ń tú òróró wúrà jáde nínú ara wọn láti ẹnu ọ̀pá oníhò wúrà méjì.”
And Y answeryde the secounde tyme, and seide to hym, What ben the tweyne eeris, ether ripe fruyt, of olyues, that ben bisidis the twei bilis of gold, in whiche ben oile vesselis of gold?
13 Ó sì dáhùn, ó wí fún mi pé, “Ìwọ kò mọ ohun tí àwọn wọ̀nyí jásí?” Mo sì wí pé, “Bẹ́ẹ̀ kọ́, olúwa à mi.”
And he seide to me, and spak, Whether thou woost not what ben these thingis?
14 Ó sì wí pé, “Àwọn méjì wọ̀nyí ni àwọn tí a fi òróró yàn, tí ó dúró ti Olúwa gbogbo ayé.”
And Y seide, No, my lord. And he seide, These ben twei sones of oile of schynyng, whiche stonden nyy to the lordli gouernour of al erthe.
