< Zechariah 13 >
1 “Ní ọjọ́ náà ìsun kan yóò ṣí sílẹ̀ fún ilé Dafidi àti fún àwọn ará Jerusalẹmu, láti wẹ̀ wọ́n mọ́ kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ àti àìmọ́ wọn.
In that day, there will be a fountain open to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for the washing of the transgressor and of the defiled woman.
2 “Yóò sì ṣe ní ọjọ́ náà ni Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun wí, ni èmi ó gé orúkọ àwọn òrìṣà kúrò ni ilẹ̀ náà, a kì yóò sì rántí wọn mọ́, àti pẹ̀lú èmi ó mú àwọn wòlíì èké àti àwọn ẹ̀mí àìmọ́ kúrò ni ilẹ̀ náà.
And this shall be in that day, says the Lord of hosts: I will disperse the names of the idols from the earth, and they will not be remembered any longer. And I will take away the false prophets and the unclean spirit from the earth.
3 Yóò sì ṣe, nígbà tí ẹnìkan yóò sọtẹ́lẹ̀ síbẹ̀, ni baba rẹ̀ àti ìyá rẹ̀ tí ó bí í yóò wí fún un pé, ‘Ìwọ ki yóò yè, nítorí ìwọ ń sọ ọ̀rọ̀ èké ni orúkọ Olúwa.’ Àti baba rẹ̀ àti ìyá rẹ̀ tí o bí í yóò gun un ni àgúnpa nígbà tí ó bá sọtẹ́lẹ̀.
And this shall be: when any devotee will continue to prophesy, his father and his mother, who conceived him, will say to him, “You shall not live, because you have been speaking a lie in the name of the Lord.” And his father and his mother, his own parents, will pierce him, when he will prophesy.
4 “Yóò sì ṣe ní ọjọ́ náà, ojú yóò tí àwọn wòlíì èké olúkúlùkù nítorí ìran rẹ̀, nígbà tí òun ba tí sọtẹ́lẹ̀; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọn kì yóò sì wọ aṣọ wòlíì onírun rẹ̀ tí o fi ń tan ní jẹ.
And this shall be: In that day, the prophets will be confounded, each one by his own vision, when he will prophesy. Neither will they be covered with a garment of sackcloth in order to deceive.
5 Ṣùgbọ́n òun o wí pé, ‘Èmi kí í ṣe wòlíì, àgbẹ̀ ni èmi; nítorí tí a ti fi mí ṣe ìránṣẹ́ láti ìgbà èwe mi wá.’
But he will say, “I am not a prophet; I am a man of agriculture. For Adam has been my example from my youth.”
6 Ẹnìkan ó sì wí fún un pé, ‘Ọgbẹ́ kín ní wọ̀nyí ni ẹ̀yìn rẹ?’ Òun o sì dáhùn pé, ‘Wọ̀nyí ni ibi tí a ti sá mi ní ilé àwọn ọ̀rẹ́ mi.’
And they will say to him, “What are these wounds in the middle of your hands?” And he will say, “I was wounded with these in the house of those who love me.”
7 “Dìde, ìwọ idà, sí Olùṣọ́-àgùntàn mi, àti sí ẹni tí í ṣe ẹnìkejì mi,” ni Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun wí: “Kọlu Olùṣọ́-àgùntàn, àwọn àgùntàn a sì túká: èmi o sì yí ọwọ́ mi sí àwọn kéékèèké.
Awake, O spear, against my shepherd and against the man that clings to me, says the Lord of hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn my hand to the little ones.
8 Yóò sì ṣe, ni gbogbo ilẹ̀,” ni Olúwa wí, “a ó gé apá méjì nínú rẹ̀ kúrò yóò sì kú; ṣùgbọ́n apá kẹta yóò kù nínú rẹ̀.
And there will be in all the earth, says the Lord, two parts in it will be scattered and will pass away, and the third part will be left behind.
9 Èmi ó sì mú apá kẹta náà la àárín iná, èmi yóò sì yọ́ wọn bí a ti yọ́ fàdákà, èmi yóò sì dán wọn wò, bi a tí ń dán wúrà wò: wọn yóò sì pé orúkọ mi, èmi yóò sì dá wọn lóhùn: èmi yóò wí pé, ‘Àwọn ènìyàn mi ni,’ àwọn yóò sì wí pé, ‘Olúwa ni Ọlọ́run wa.’”
And I will lead the third part through fire, and I will burn them just as silver is burned, and I will test them just as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will heed them. I will say, “You are my people.” And they will say, “The Lord is my God.”
