< Zechariah 11 >

1 Ṣí àwọn ìlẹ̀kùn rẹ sílẹ̀, ìwọ Lebanoni, kí iná bá lè jẹ igi kedari rẹ run.
Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
2 Hu, igi junifa; nítorí igi kedari ṣubú, nítorí tí a ba àwọn igi tí o lógo jẹ́: hu, ẹ̀yin igi óákù tí Baṣani, nítorí gé igbó àjàrà lulẹ̀.
Howl, O fir tree, for the cedar is fallen, because the goodly ones are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest is come down.
3 Gbọ́ ohun igbe àwọn olùṣọ́-àgùntàn; ògo wọn bàjẹ́; gbọ́ ohùn bíbú àwọn ọmọ kìnnìún nítorí ògo Jordani bàjẹ́.
A voice of the howling of the shepherds! for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions! for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
4 Báyìí ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi wí: “Bọ́ ọ̀wọ́ ẹran àbọ́pa.
Thus said the LORD my God: Feed the flock of slaughter;
5 Tí àwọn olúwa wọn ń pa wọ́n, tí wọn kò sì ka ara wọn sí pé wọn jẹ̀bi: àti àwọn tí ń tà wọ́n wí pé, ‘Ìbùkún ni fún Olúwa, nítorí tí mo dí ọlọ́rọ̀!’ Àwọn olùṣọ́-àgùntàn wọn kò sì ṣàánú wọn.
whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty; and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD, for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
6 Nítorí èmi kì yóò ṣàánú fún àwọn ara ilẹ̀ náà mọ́,” ni Olúwa wí, “Ṣí kíyèsi í, èmi yóò fi olúkúlùkù ènìyàn lé aládùúgbò rẹ̀ lọ́wọ́, àti lé ọwọ́ ọba rẹ̀, wọn yóò sì fọ́ ilẹ̀ náà, èmi kì yóò sì gbà wọ́n lọ́wọ́ wọn.”
For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
7 Èmi yóò sì bọ́ ẹran àbọ́pa, àní ẹ̀yin òtòṣì nínú ọ̀wọ́ ẹran. Mo sì mu ọ̀pá méjì sọ́dọ̀; mo pè ọ̀kan ni Oore-ọ̀fẹ́, mo pè èkejì ni Àmùrè; mo sì bọ́ ọ̀wọ́ ẹran náà.
So I fed the flock of slaughter, verily the poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 Olùṣọ́-àgùntàn mẹ́ta ni mo sì gé kúrò ní oṣù kan. Ọkàn mi sì kórìíra wọn, ọkàn wọn pẹ̀lú sì kórìíra mi.
And I cut off the three shepherds in one month; for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me.
9 Mo sì wí pé, “Èmi kì yóò bọ́ yin: èyí ti ń ku lọ, jẹ́ kí òkú o kú; èyí tí a o ba sì gé kúrò, jẹ́ kí a gé e kúrò; ki olúkúlùkù nínú àwọn ìyókù jẹ́ ẹran-ara ẹnìkejì rẹ̀.”
Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let them which are left eat every one the flesh of another.
10 Mo sì mu ọ̀pá mi, ti a ń pè ní Oore-ọ̀fẹ́, mo ṣẹ́ si méjì, ki èmi bá lè da májẹ̀mú mi tí mo tí bá gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn náà dá.
And I took my staff Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.
11 Ó sì dá ni ọjọ́ náà, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn òtòṣì nínú ọ̀wọ́ ẹran náà tí ó dúró tì mí mọ̀ pé, ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa ni.
And it was broken in that day: and thus the poor of the flock that gave heed unto me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
12 Mo sì wí fún wọn pé, “Bí ó bá dára ní ojú yin, ẹ fún mi ni owó ọ̀yà mi; bí bẹ́ẹ̀ kọ́, ẹ mú un lọ́wọ́.” Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọ́n wọn ọgbọ̀n owó fàdákà fún iye owó ọ̀yà mi.
And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my hire; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my hire thirty [pieces] of silver.
13 Olúwa sì wí fún mi pé, “Sọ ọ sí amọ̀kòkò.” Iye dáradára náà, tí wọn yọ owó mi sí. Mo sì mu ọgbọ̀n owó fàdákà náà, mo sì sọ wọ́n sí àpótí ìṣúra ní ilé Olúwa.
And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter, the goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them unto the potter, in the house of the LORD.
14 Mo sì ṣẹ́ ọ̀pá mi kejì, àní Àmùrè, sí méjì, kí èmi lè ya ìbátan tí ó wà láàrín Juda àti láàrín Israẹli.
Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 Olúwa sì wí fún mi pé, “Tún mú ohun èlò aṣiwèrè olùṣọ́-àgùntàn kan sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀.
And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 Nítorí Èmi o gbé Olùṣọ́-àgùntàn kan dìde ni ilẹ̀ náà, tí kí yóò bẹ àwọn tí ó ṣègbé wò, ti kì yóò sì wá èyí tí ó yapa; tí kì yóò ṣe ìtọ́jú èyí tí a pa lára tàbí kí ó bọ́ àwọn tí ara wọn dá pépé: Ṣùgbọ́n òun yóò jẹ ẹran èyí tí ó ni ọ̀rá, àwọn èyí tiwọn fi èékánná wọn ya ara wọn pẹ́rẹpẹ̀rẹ.
For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek those that be scattered, nor heal that that is broken; neither shall he feed that which is sound, but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and shall tear their hoofs in pieces.
17 “Ègbé ni fún olùṣọ́-àgùntàn asán náà, tí ó fi ọ̀wọ́ ẹran sílẹ̀! Idà yóò gé apá rẹ̀ àti ojú ọ̀tún rẹ̀: apá rẹ̀ yóò gbẹ pátápátá, ojú ọ̀tún rẹ̀ yóò sì fọ́ pátápátá!”
Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock, the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
