< Song of Solomon 7 >
1 Báwo ni ẹsẹ̀ rẹ ti ní ẹwà tó nínú bàtà. Ìwọ ọmọbìnrin ọba! Oríkèé itan rẹ rí bí ohun ọ̀ṣọ́ iṣẹ́ ọlọ́gbọ́n oníṣọ̀nà
Thy steps are beautiful in shoes, O daughter of the prince: the joints of [thy] thighs are like chains, the work of the craftsman.
2 Ìdodo rẹ rí bí àwo tí kì í ṣe aláìní ọtí, ìbàdí rẹ bí òkìtì alikama tí a fi lílì yíká.
Thy navel is [as] a turned bowl, not wanting liquor; thy belly is [as] a heap of wheat set about with lilies.
3 Ọmú rẹ rí bí abo egbin méjì tí wọ́n jẹ́ ìbejì àgbọ̀nrín.
Thy two breasts are as two twin fawns.
4 Ọrùn rẹ rí bí ilé ìṣọ́ eyín erin. Ojú rẹ rí bí adágún ní Heṣboni ní ẹ̀bá ẹnu ibodè Bati-Rabbimu. Imú rẹ rí bí ilé ìṣọ́ Lebanoni tí ó kọ ojú sí Damasku.
Thy neck is as an ivory tower; thine eyes are as pools in Esebon, by the gates of the daughter of many: thy nose is as the tower of Libanus, looking toward Damascus.
5 Bí òkè Karmeli ṣe ṣe adé yí àwọn òkè ká, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni irun orí rẹ ṣe adé yí orí rẹ ká a fi àìdi irun rẹ mú ọba ní ìgbèkùn.
Thy head upon thee is as Carmel, and the curls of thy hair like scarlet; the king is bound in the galleries.
6 Báwo ni ẹwà rẹ ti pọ̀ tó báwo ni o sì ti dára tó ìwọ olùfẹ́ mi nínú ìfẹ́?
How beautiful art thou, and how sweet art thou, [my] love!
7 Ìdúró rẹ rí bí igi ọ̀pẹ, àti ọmú rẹ bí ìdì èso àjàrà.
This is thy greatness in thy delights: thou wast made like a palm tree, and thy breasts to cluster.
8 Mo ní, “Èmi yóò gun igi ọ̀pẹ lọ, èmi yóò di ẹ̀ka rẹ̀ mú.” Kí ọmú rẹ rí bí ìdì èso àjàrà, àti èémí imú rẹ bí i ápù.
I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of its high boughs: and now shall thy breasts be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose of apples;
9 Àti ìfẹnukonu rẹ rí bí ọtí wáìnì tí ó dára jùlọ. Olólùfẹ́ Tí ó kúnná tí ó sì dùn, tí ń mú kí ètè àwọn tí ó sùn kí ó sọ̀rọ̀.
and thy throat as good wine, going well with my kinsman, suiting my lips and teeth.
10 Ti olùfẹ́ mi ni èmi í ṣe, èmi sì ni ẹni tí ó wù ú.
I am my kinsman's, and his desire is toward me.
11 Wá, olùfẹ́ mi, jẹ́ kí a lọ sí ibi pápá, jẹ́ kí a lo àṣálẹ́ ní àwọn ìletò.
Come, my kinsman, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.
12 Jẹ́ kí a lọ sínú ọgbà àjàrà ní kùtùkùtù láti wo bí àjàrà rúwé bí ìtànná àjàrà bá là. Àti bí pomegiranate bá ti rudi, níbẹ̀ ni èmi yóò ti fi ìfẹ́ mi fún ọ.
Let us go early into the vineyards; let us see if the vine has flowered, [if] the blossoms have appeared, if the pomegranates have blossomed; there will I give thee my breasts.
13 Àwọn èso mándrákì mú òórùn wọn jáde ní ẹnu-ọ̀nà wa ni onírúurú àṣàyàn èso, èso tuntun àti ọjọ́ pípẹ́ tí mo ti kó pamọ́ fún ọ, olùfẹ́ mi.
The mandrakes have given a smell, and at our doors [are] all kinds of choice fruits, new and old. O my kinsman, I have kept [them] for thee.
