The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 ẹni tí ó jẹ́rìí ohun gbogbo tí ó rí, èyí ì ni ọ̀rọ̀ Ọlọ́run, àti ẹ̀rí ti Jesu Kristi.
Who bare record of the word (logos) of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words (logos) of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 Johanu, Sí àwọn ìjọ méje tí ń bẹ ní Asia: Oore-ọ̀fẹ́ fún yín, àti àlàáfíà, láti ọ̀dọ̀ ẹni tí ó ń bẹ, tí ó sì ti wà, tí ó sì ń bọ̀ wá; àti láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ẹ̀mí méje tí ń bẹ níwájú ìtẹ́ rẹ̀;
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits (pneuma) which are before his throne;

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the First-Born of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
7 “Kíyèsi i, o ń bọ̀ nínú àwọsánmọ̀, gbogbo ojú ni yóò sì rí i, àti àwọn tí ó gún un ní ọ̀kọ̀ pẹ̀lú”; àti gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè ayé ni “yóò sì máa pohùnréré ẹkún nítorí rẹ̀.”
Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all families of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 “Èmi ni Alfa àti Omega,” ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run wí, “ẹni tí ó ń bẹ, tí ó ti wà, tí ó sì ń bọ̀ wá, alágbára.”
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
9 Èmi, Johanu, arákùnrin yín àti alábápín pẹ̀lú yín nínú wàhálà àti ìjọba àti sùúrù tí ń bẹ nínú Jesu, wà ní erékúṣù tí a ń pè ní Patmo, nítorí ọ̀rọ̀ Ọlọ́run, àti nítorí ẹ̀rí Jesu Kristi.
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word (logos) of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 Mo wà nínú Ẹ̀mí ní ọjọ́ Olúwa, mo sì gbọ́ ohùn ńlá kan lẹ́yìn mi, bí ìró ìpè,
I was in the Spirit (pneuma) on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Ó ń wí pé, “Kọ́ ìwé rẹ̀, ohun tí ìwọ rí, kí ó sí fi ránṣẹ́ sí àwọn ìjọ méje; sí Efesu, àti sí Smirna, àti sí Pargamu, àti sí Tiatira, àti sí Sardi, àti sí Filadelfia, àti sí Laodikea.”
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
12 Mo sì yí padà láti wo ohùn tí ń bá mi sọ̀rọ̀. Nígbà tí mo yípadà, mo rí ọ̀pá fìtílà wúrà méje,
And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 àti láàrín àwọn ọ̀pá fìtílà náà, ẹnìkan tí ó dàbí “ọmọ ènìyàn,” tí a wọ̀ ní aṣọ tí ó kanlẹ̀ dé ẹsẹ̀, tí a sì fi àmùrè wúrà dì ní ẹ̀gbẹ́.
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the breast with a golden girdle.
14 Orí rẹ̀ àti irun rẹ̀ funfun bí ẹ̀gbọ̀n òwú, ó funfun bí yìnyín; ojú rẹ̀ sì dàbí, ọwọ́ iná.
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 Ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ sì dàbí idẹ dáradára, bí ẹni pé a dà á nínú ìléru; ohùn rẹ̀ sì dàbí ìró omi púpọ̀.
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 Ó sì ní ìràwọ̀ méje ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀; àti láti ẹnu rẹ̀ wá ni idà olójú méjì mímú ti jáde. Ojú rẹ̀ sì dàbí oòrùn tí ó ń fi agbára rẹ̀ hàn.
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.
17 Nígbà tí mo rí i, mo wólẹ̀ ní ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ bí ẹni tí ó kú. Ó sì fi ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀ lé mi, ó ń wí fún mi pé, “Má ṣe bẹ̀rù. Èmi ni ẹni ìṣáájú àti ẹni ìkẹyìn.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 Èmi ni ẹni tí ó ń bẹ láààyè, tí ó sì ti kú; sì kíyèsi i, èmi sì ń bẹ láààyè sí i títí láé! Mo sì ní kọ́kọ́rọ́ ikú àti ti ipò òkú lọ́wọ́. (aiōn , Hadēs )
I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. (aiōn , Hadēs )
19 “Kọ̀wé nítorí náà ohun tí ìwọ ti rí, àti ti ohun tí ń bẹ, àti ti ohun tí yóò hù lẹ́yìn èyí;
Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
20 ohun ìjìnlẹ̀ tí ìràwọ̀ méje náà tí ìwọ rí ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún mi, àti ọ̀pá wúrà fìtílà méje náà. Ìràwọ̀ méje ni àwọn angẹli ìjọ méje náà: àti ọ̀pá fìtílà méje náà ní àwọn ìjọ méje.
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.
