< Revelation 22 +
1 Ó sì fi odò omi ìyè kan hàn mi, tí ó mọ́ bí kirisitali, tí ń tí ibi ìtẹ́ Ọlọ́run àti tí Ọ̀dọ́-Àgùntàn jáde wá,
And the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, issuing from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
2 ní àárín ìgboro rẹ̀, àti níhà èkínní kejì odò náà, ni igi ìyè gbé wà, tí o máa ń so onírúurú èso méjìlá, a sì máa so èso rẹ̀ ni oṣooṣù ewé igi náà sí wà fún mímú àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè láradà.
in the middle of the street of the city. On each side of the river was a Tree of life which bore twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 Ègún kì yóò sì ṣí mọ: ìtẹ́ Ọlọ́run àti tí Ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn ni yóò sì máa wà níbẹ̀; àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ yóò sì máa sìn ín.
Every thing that is accursed will cease to be. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within it, and his servants will worship him;
4 Wọ́n ó si máa rí ojú rẹ̀; orúkọ rẹ̀ yóò si máa wà ni iwájú orí wọn.
they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
5 Òru kì yóò sí mọ́; wọn kò sì ní wa ìmọ́lẹ̀ fìtílà, tàbí ìmọ́lẹ̀ oòrùn; nítorí pé Olúwa Ọlọ́run ni yóò tan ìmọ́lẹ̀ fún wọn: wọn ó sì máa jẹ ọba láé àti láéláé. (aiōn )
Night will cease to be. They have no need of the light of a lamp, nor have they the light of the sun; for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign for ever and ever. (aiōn )
6 Ó sì wí fún mi pé, “Òdodo àti òtítọ́ ni ọ̀rọ̀ wọ̀nyí: Olúwa Ọlọ́run ẹ̀mí àwọn wòlíì ni ó sì ran angẹli rẹ̀ láti fi ohun tí ó ní láti ṣẹlẹ̀ láìpẹ́ yìí hàn àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀.”
Then the angel said to me – ‘These words may be trusted and are true. The Lord, the God that inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants what must quickly take place;
7 “Kíyèsi i, èmi ń bọ̀ kánkán! Ìbùkún ni fún ẹni tí ń pa ọ̀rọ̀ ìsọtẹ́lẹ̀ inú ìwé yìí mọ́!”
and they said “I will come quickly.” Blessed will he be who lays to heart the words of the prophecy contained in this book.’
8 Èmi, Johanu, ni ẹni tí ó gbọ́ tí ó sì ri nǹkan wọ̀nyí. Nígbà tí mo sì gbọ́ tí mo sì rí, mo wólẹ̀ láti foríbalẹ̀ níwájú ẹsẹ̀ angẹli náà, tí o fi nǹkan wọ̀nyí hàn mi.
It was I, John, who heard and saw these things; and, when I heard and saw them, I prostrated myself in worship at the feet of the angel that showed them to me.
9 Nígbà náà ni ó wí fún mi pé, “Wó ò, má ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀, ìránṣẹ́ ẹlẹgbẹ́ rẹ ni èmi, àti ti àwọn arákùnrin rẹ̀ wòlíì, àti ti àwọn tí ń pa ọ̀rọ̀ inú ìwé yìí mọ́. Foríbalẹ̀ fún Ọlọ́run!”
But he said to me – ‘Forbear; I am your fellow servant, and the fellow servant of your fellow prophets, and of all who lay to heart the words in this book. Worship God.’
10 Ó sì wí fún mi pé, “Má ṣe fi èdìdì di ọ̀rọ̀ ìsọtẹ́lẹ̀ tí inú ìwé yìí, nítorí ìgbà kù sí dẹ̀dẹ̀.
Then the angel said to me – ‘Do not keep secret the words of the prophecy contained in this book; for the time is near.
11 Ẹni tí ń ṣe aláìṣòótọ́, kí ó máa ṣe aláìṣòótọ́ nì só; àti ẹni tí ń ṣe ẹlẹ́gbin, kí ó máa ṣe ẹ̀gbin nì só; àti ẹni tí ń ṣe olódodo, kí ó máa ṣe òdodo nì só; àti ẹni tí ń ṣe mímọ́, kí ó máa ṣe mímọ́ nì só.”
Let the wrongdoer continue to do wrong; the filthy-minded continue to be filthy; the righteous continue to act righteously; and the holy-minded continue to be holy.’
12 “Kíyèsi i, èmi ń bọ̀ kánkán; èrè mí sì ń bẹ pẹ̀lú mi, láti sán fún olúkúlùkù gẹ́gẹ́ bí iṣẹ́ rẹ̀ yóò tí rí.
(“I will come quickly. I bring my rewards with me, to give to each what their actions deserve.
13 Èmi ni Alfa àti Omega, ẹni ìṣáájú àti ẹni ìkẹyìn, ìpilẹ̀ṣẹ̀ àti òpin.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the beginning and the End.”)
14 “Ìbùkún ni fún àwọn ti ń fọ aṣọ wọn, kí wọ́n lè ni ẹ̀tọ́ láti wá sí ibi igi ìyè náà, àti kí wọ́n lè gbà àwọn ẹnu ibodè wọ inú ìlú náà.
Blessed will they be who wash their robes! They will have the right to approach the Tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates.
15 Nítorí ni òde ni àwọn ajá gbé wà, àti àwọn oṣó, àti àwọn àgbèrè, àti àwọn apànìyàn, àti àwọn abọ̀rìṣà, àti olúkúlùkù ẹni tí ó fẹ́ràn èké tí ó sì ń hùwà èké.
Outside will be the filthy, the sorcerers, the impure, the murderers, the idolaters, and all who love the false and live it.
16 “Èmi, Jesu, ni ó rán angẹli mi láti jẹ́rìí nǹkan wọ̀nyí fún yin ní tí àwọn ìjọ. Èmi ni gbòǹgbò àti irú-ọmọ Dafidi, àti ìràwọ̀ òwúrọ̀ tí ń tàn.”
“I, Jesus, sent my angel to bear testimony to you about these things before the churches. I am the Scion and the Offspring of David, the bright star of the Morning.”
17 Ẹ̀mí àti ìyàwó wí pé, “Máa bọ!” Àti ẹni tí ó ń gbọ́ kí ó wí pé, “Máa bọ̀!” Àti ẹni tí òǹgbẹ ń gbẹ kí ó wá, àti ẹni tí o bá sì fẹ́, kí ó gba omi ìyè náà lọ́fẹ̀ẹ́.
“Come,” say the Spirit and the Bride; and all who hear, say “Come.” All who thirst, come; anyone who wants, take the water of life freely.
18 Èmi kìlọ̀ fún olúkúlùkù ẹni tó ń gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ ìsọtẹ́lẹ̀ inú ìwé yìí pé, bí ẹnikẹ́ni ba fi kún wọn, Ọlọ́run yóò fi kún àwọn ìyọnu tí a kọ sínú ìwé yìí fún un.
I declare to all who hear the words of the prophecy contained in this book – “If anyone adds to it, God will add to his troubles the curses described in this book;
19 Bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá sì mú kúrò nínú ọ̀rọ̀ ìwé ìsọtẹ́lẹ̀ yìí, Ọlọ́run yóò sì mú ipa tirẹ̀ kúrò nínú ìwé ìyè, àti kúrò nínú ìlú mímọ́ náà, àti kúrò nínú àwọn ohun tí a kọ sínú ìwé yìí.
and if anyone takes away any of the words in the book containing this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of life, and in the Holy City – as described in this book.”
20 Ẹni tí ó jẹ́rìí nǹkan wọ̀nyí wí pé, “Nítòótọ́ èmi ń bọ̀ kánkán.” Àmín. Máa bọ̀, Jesu Olúwa!
He whose testimony this is says – “Assuredly I will come quickly.” “Amen, come, Lord Jesus.”
21 Oore-ọ̀fẹ́ Jesu Olúwa kí ó wà pẹ̀lú gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn mímọ́. Àmín.
May the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ, be with his people.
