And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword; and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 Nígbà tí mo rí i, mo wólẹ̀ ní ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ bí ẹni tí ó kú. Ó sì fi ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀ lé mi, ó ń wí fún mi pé, “Má ṣe bẹ̀rù. Èmi ni ẹni ìṣáájú àti ẹni ìkẹyìn.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand on me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,
18 Èmi ni ẹni tí ó ń bẹ láààyè, tí ó sì ti kú; sì kíyèsi i, èmi sì ń bẹ láààyè sí i títí láé! Mo sì ní kọ́kọ́rọ́ ikú àti ti ipò òkú lọ́wọ́. (aiōn g165, Hadēs g86)
and he that liveth; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore; and I have the keys of death and the underworld. (aiōn g165, Hadēs g86)
19 “Kọ̀wé nítorí náà ohun tí ìwọ ti rí, àti ti ohun tí ń bẹ, àti ti ohun tí yóò hù lẹ́yìn èyí;

the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches; and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.
