< Psalms 97 >
1 Olúwa jẹ ọba, jẹ́ kí ayé kí ó yọ̀ jẹ́ kí inú ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ erékùṣù kí ó dùn.
Yahweh he reigns let it be glad the earth let them rejoice islands many.
2 Ojú ọ̀run àti òkùnkùn yíká òdodo àti ìdájọ́ ni ó ṣe ìpilẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ìtẹ́ rẹ̀.
Cloud and thick darkness [are] around him [is] righteousness and justice [the] foundation of throne his.
3 Iná ń jó níwájú rẹ̀. Ó sì ń jó àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀ yíkákiri.
Fire before him it goes and it may burn up all around opponents his.
4 Ìmọ́lẹ̀ rẹ̀ tàn ó sì kárí ayé ayé rí i ó sì wárìrì.
They light up lightning flashes his [the] world it sees and it trembled the earth.
5 Òkè gíga yọ́ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìda níwájú Olúwa, níwájú Olúwa gbogbo ayé.
Mountains like wax they melt from to before Yahweh from to before [the] lord of all the earth.
6 Àwọn ọ̀run ròyìn òdodo rẹ̀, gbogbo ènìyàn sì rí ògo rẹ̀.
They declare the heavens righteousness his and they see all the peoples glory his.
7 Gbogbo àwọn tí ń sin ère fínfín ni ojú yóò tì, àwọn tí ń fi ère gbéraga, ẹ máa sìn ín, gbogbo ẹ̀yin ọlọ́run!
Let them be ashamed - all [those who] serve an image those [who] boast in worthless idols bow down to him O all gods.
8 Sioni gbọ́, inú rẹ̀ sì dùn inú àwọn ilé Juda sì dùn, nítorí ìdájọ́ rẹ, Olúwa.
It hears and it rejoiced - Zion and they were glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your O Yahweh.
9 Nítorí pé ìwọ, Olúwa, ni ó ga ju gbogbo ayé lọ ìwọ ni ó ga ju gbogbo òrìṣà lọ.
For you O Yahweh [are] most high over all the earth exceedingly you are exalted above all gods.
10 Jẹ kí gbogbo àwọn tí ó fẹ́ Olúwa, kórìíra ibi, ó pa ọkàn àwọn ènìyàn mímọ́ rẹ̀ mọ́ ó gbà wọ́n ní ọwọ́ àwọn ènìyàn búburú.
O [you who] love Yahweh hate evil [he is] protecting [the] lives of faithful [people] his from [the] hand of wicked [people] he delivers them.
11 Ìmọ́lẹ̀ tàn sórí àwọn olódodo àti ayọ̀ nínú àlàyé ọkàn.
Light [is] sown for the righteous and for [people] upright of heart joy.
12 Ẹ yọ̀ nínú Olúwa, ẹ̀yin tí ẹ jẹ́ olódodo, kí ẹ sì yin orúkọ rẹ̀ mímọ́.
Rejoice O righteous [people] in Yahweh and give thanks to [the] remembrance of holiness his.
