< Psalms 85 >
1 Fún adarí orin. Ti àwọn ọmọ Kora. Saamu. Ìwọ fi ojúrere hàn fún ilé rẹ, Olúwa; ìwọ mú ohun ìní Jakọbu bọ̀ sí ipò.
Unto the end. A Psalm to the sons of Korah. O Lord, you have blessed your land. You have turned aside the captivity of Jacob.
2 Ìwọ dárí àìṣedéédéé àwọn ènìyàn rẹ jì ìwọ sì bó ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn mọ́lẹ̀. (Sela)
You have released the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sins.
3 Ìwọ fi àwọn ìbínú rẹ sápá kan ìwọ sì yípadà kúrò nínú ìbínú gbígbóná rẹ.
You have mitigated all your wrath. You have turned aside from the wrath of your indignation.
4 Yí wa padà, Ọlọ́run ìgbàlà wa, kí o sì yí ìbínú rẹ̀ padà kúrò lọ́dọ̀ wa.
Convert us, O God, our Savior, and turn your anger away from us.
5 Ìwọ yóò ha máa bínú sí wa títí láé? Ìwọ yóò ha mú ìbínú rẹ pẹ́ yí gbogbo ìran ká?
Will you be angry with us forever? And will you extend your wrath from generation to generation?
6 Ìwọ kì yóò ha sọ wá jí padà mọ́, pé kí àwọn ènìyàn rẹ lè yọ nínú rẹ?
O God, you will turn back and revive us. And your people will rejoice in you.
7 Fi ìfẹ́ rẹ tí kò le è kùnà hàn wá, Olúwa, kí o sì fún wa ní ìgbàlà rẹ.
O Lord, reveal to us your mercy, and grant to us your salvation.
8 Èmi ó gbọ́ ohun tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yóò wí; ó ṣèlérí àlàáfíà fún àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, àní ẹni mímọ́ rẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n má ṣe jẹ́ kí wọn padà sí àìmoye.
I will listen to what the Lord God may be saying to me. For he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those who are being converted to the heart.
9 Nítòótọ́ ìgbàlà rẹ̀ súnmọ́ àwọn tí ó bẹ̀rù rẹ̀, pé kí ògo rẹ̀ kí ó lè gbé ní ilẹ̀ wa.
So then, truly his salvation is near to those who fear him, so that glory may inhabit our land.
10 Ìfẹ́ àti òtítọ́ parapọ̀; òdodo àti àlàáfíà fẹnu ko ara wọn.
Mercy and truth have met each other. Justice and peace have kissed.
11 Òtítọ́ ń sun jáde láti ilẹ̀ wá òdodo sì bojú wolẹ̀ láti ọ̀run.
Truth has risen from the earth, and justice has gazed down from heaven.
12 Olúwa yóò fi ohun dídára fún ni nítòótọ́, ilẹ̀ wa yóò sì mú ìkórè rẹ̀ jáde.
For so will the Lord give goodness, and our earth will give her fruit.
13 Òdodo síwájú rẹ lọ o sì pèsè ọ̀nà fún ìgbésẹ̀ rẹ̀.
Justice will walk before him, and he will set his steps upon the way.
