< Psalms 84 >

1 Fún adarí orin. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ti gittiti. Ti àwọn ọmọ Kora. Saamu. Ibùgbé rẹ̀ ti lẹ́wà tó, Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun!
To the Chief Musician. On "the Gittith." For the Sons of Korah. A Melody. How lovely are thy habitations, O Yahweh of hosts!
2 Ọkàn mi ń ṣàfẹ́rí nítòótọ́ ó tilẹ̀ pòǹgbẹ fún àgbàlá Olúwa àyà mi àti ara mi ń kọrin ayọ̀ sí Ọlọ́run alààyè.
My soul, longeth—yea even languisheth—for the courts of Yahweh, —My heart and my flesh, shout aloud for a Living GOD.
3 Nítòótọ́ ológoṣẹ́ ri ilé, ẹyẹ alápáǹdẹ̀dẹ̀ tẹ́ ìtẹ́ fún ara rẹ̀, níbi tí yóò máa pa ọmọ rẹ̀ mọ́ sí: ibùgbé ní tòsí pẹpẹ rẹ̀, Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun, ọba mí àti Ọlọ́run mi.
Even the sparrow, hath found a home, And, the swallow, a nest for herself, where she hath laid her young, Thine altars, O Yahweh of hosts, My king and my God!
4 Ìbùkún ní fún àwọn tí ó ń gbé inú ilé rẹ; wọn ó máa yìn ọ́ títí láé.
How happy are they who abide in thy house, —Still are they praising thee. (Selah)
5 Ìbùkún ni fún àwọn tí agbára wọn wà nínú rẹ àwọn tí wọ́n gbé ọkàn lé bíbẹ ibi mímọ́ wò.
How happy the men whose strength is in thee, Festive processions are in their heart.
6 Àwọn tí ń la àfonífojì omijé lọ wọn sọ ọ́ di kànga àkọ́rọ̀ òjò sì fi ìbùkún bò ó.
Passing through the balsam-vale, A place of fountains, they make it, Yea, with blessings, is it covered by the early rain.
7 Wọ́n ń lọ láti ipa dé ipá títí tí ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan fi farahàn níwájú Ọlọ́run ní Sioni.
They go from strength to strength, Each one appeareth before God in Zion.
8 Gbọ́ àdúrà mi, Olúwa Ọlọ́run Alágbára; tẹ́tí sí mi, Ọlọ́run Jakọbu.
O Yahweh, God of hosts, hear thou my prayer, —Give hear, thou God of Jacob. (Selah)
9 Wo asà wa, Ọlọ́run; fi ojú àánú wò àwọn ẹni àmì òróró rẹ.
Our Shield, behold thou, O God, And look upon the face of thine Anointed One.
10 Dídára ní ọjọ́ kan ní ààfin rẹ ju ẹgbẹ̀rún ọjọ́ lọ; èmi o kúkú máa ṣe aṣọ́nà nínú ilé Ọlọ́run mi jù láti gbé ní àgọ́ àwọn ènìyàn búburú.
For better is a day in thy courts, than a thousand, I choose rather to stand at the threshold in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of lawlessness.
11 Nítorí Olúwa Ọlọ́run jẹ́ òòrùn àti asà; Olúwa fún ni ní ojúrere àti ọlá; kò sí ohun rere kan tí yóò fàsẹ́yìn fún àwọn tí ó rìn ní àìlábùkù.
For, a sun and shield, is Yahweh God, —Grace and glory, will Yahweh give, He will not withhold what is good, from them who walk without blame.
12 Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun, ìbùkún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ọ.
O Yahweh of hosts! How happy the man who trusteth in thee!
