< Psalms 77 >
1 Fún adarí orin. Fún Jedutuni. Ti Asafu. Saamu. Mó kígbe sí Ọlọ́run fún ìrànlọ́wọ́; mo kígbe sí Ọlọ́run láti gbọ́ tèmi.
To the Chief Musician. On "Jeduthun." Asaph’s, a Melody. With my voice—unto God, will I make outcry, With my voice unto God, and he will give ear unto me;
2 Nígbà tí mo wà nínú ìpọ́njú, mo wá Olúwa; ní òru ni mo na ọwọ́ mi jáde ní àìkáárẹ̀ ọkàn mí sì kọ̀ láti tù ú nínú.
In the day of my distress—unto My Lord, will I seek, My hand, by night, hath been outstretched and never once became slack, My soul, hath refused to be consoled;
3 Èmi rántí rẹ, Ọlọ́run, mo sì kẹ́dùn; mo ṣe àròyé, ẹ̀mí mi sì rẹ̀wẹ̀sì. (Sela)
I remember God and I murmur, I muse, and my spirit swooneth. (Selah)
4 Ìwọ kò fẹ́ kí èmi fi ojú ba oorun, mo dààmú tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí ń kò le sọ̀rọ̀.
Thou hast held, watching, mine eyes, I was driven to and fro, and could not speak;
5 Mo ronú nípa ọjọ́ ìgbàanì; ọdún pípẹ́ sẹ́yìn;
I reasoned, Of the days of aforetime, Of the years of by-gone ages;
6 mo rántí orin mi ní òru. Èmi ń bá àyà mi sọ̀rọ̀, ọkàn mi sì ń ṣe àwárí jọjọ.
I remember my song in the night, —With my own heart, I commune, And my spirit, maketh search: —
7 “Olúwa yóò ha kọ̀ títí láé? Ki yóò ha ṣe ojúrere rẹ̀ mọ́?
For ages, will My Lord reject? And, not again, grant acceptance any more?
8 Ṣe ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ àti àánú rẹ̀ ti kú lọ láéláé? Ìlérí rẹ̀ ha kùnà títí ayé?
Hath his lovingkindness, come to a perpetual end? Hath his word failed to generation after generation?
9 Ọlọ́run ha gbàgbé láti máa ṣàánú? Ní ìbínú rẹ̀, ó ha sé ojúrere rẹ̀ mọ́?” (Sela)
Hath GOD, forgotten to show favour? Or hath he shut up, in anger, his compassions? (Selah)
10 Èmi wí pé, “Èyí ní ẹ̀dùn ọkàn mi, pé ọwọ́ ọ̀tún Ọ̀gá-ògo jùlọ ti yípadà”.
Then said I—An affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.
11 Èmi ó rántí iṣẹ́ Olúwa: bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, èmi ó rántí iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ̀ ọjọ́ pípẹ́.
I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;
12 Èmi ṣàṣàrò lórí iṣẹ́ rẹ gbogbo, pẹ̀lú, ènìyàn sì máa sọ̀rọ̀ gbogbo iṣẹ́ agbára rẹ.
And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse: —
13 Ọlọ́run, ọ̀nà rẹ jẹ́ mímọ́. Ọlọ́run wo ni ó sì tóbi bí Ọlọ́run wa?
O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way, —Who is a great GOD like Elohim?
14 Ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run tó ń ṣe ìyanu; ìwọ fi agbára rẹ hàn nínú àwọn ènìyàn.
Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully, —Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;
15 Pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ agbára rẹ ni ìwọ ra àwọn ènìyàn padà, àwọn ọmọ Jakọbu àti Josẹfu. (Sela)
Thou didst redeem, with thine arm—Thy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Nígbà tí àwọn omi rí Ọlọ́run, nígbà tí àwọn omi rí ọ, ẹ̀rù bà wọ́n, nítòótọ́ ara ibú kò balẹ̀.
The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;
17 Àwọn ojú ọ̀run tú omi sílẹ̀, àwọsánmọ̀ fi àrá dáhùn; ọfà rẹ̀ ń tàn sẹ́yìn àti síwájú.
The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;
18 Àrá rẹ̀ ni a gbọ́ nínú ìjì, ìmọ́lẹ̀ rẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀ sí gbogbo ayé; ayé bẹ̀rù, wọ́n sì wárìrì.
The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;
19 Ipa rẹ̀ gba Òkun, ọ̀nà rẹ̀ ń bẹ nínú Òkun, ọ̀nà la omi alágbára kọjá ipa rẹ̀ ń bẹ nínú líla omi alágbára kọjá, nítòótọ́ a kò rí ojú ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀.
In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:
20 Ó tọ́ àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀wọ́ ẹran nípa ọwọ́ Mose àti Aaroni.
Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
