< Psalms 68 >

1 Fún adarí orin. Ti Dafidi. Saamu. Orin. Kí Ọlọ́run kí ó dìde, kí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀ kí ó fọ́nká; kí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀ kí ó sá níwájú rẹ̀.
Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2 Bí ìjì ti ń fẹ́ èéfín lọ, kí ó fẹ́ wọn lọ; bí ìda ti í yọ́ níwájú iná, kí olùṣe búburú ṣègbé níwájú Ọlọ́run.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Ṣùgbọ́n kí inú olódodo kí ó dùn kí ó sì kún fún ayọ̀ níwájú Ọlọ́run; kí inú wọn kí ó dùn, kí ó sì kún fún ayọ̀.
But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yes, let them exceedingly rejoice.
4 Ẹ kọrin sí Ọlọ́run, ẹ kọrin ìyìn sí i, ẹ la ọ̀nà fún ẹni tí ń rékọjá ní aginjù. Olúwa ni orúkọ rẹ̀, kí ẹ sì máa yọ̀ níwájú rẹ̀.
Sing to God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides on the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
5 Baba àwọn aláìní baba àti onídàájọ́ àwọn opó ni Ọlọ́run ní ibùgbé rẹ̀ mímọ́
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 Ọlọ́run gbé aláìlera kalẹ̀ nínú ìdílé, ó darí àwọn ẹlẹ́wọ̀n pẹ̀lú orin, ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ọlọ́tẹ̀ ní ń gbé nínú ilẹ̀ gbígbẹ.
God sets the solitary in families: he brings out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 Nígbà tí ìwọ bá jáde lónìí níwájú àwọn ènìyàn rẹ, Ọlọ́run, tí ń kọjá lọ láàrín aginjù, (Sela)
O God, when you went forth before your people, when you did march through the wilderness; (Selah)
8 Ilẹ̀ mì títí, àwọn ọ̀run ń rọ òjò jáde, níwájú Ọlọ́run, ẹni Sinai, níwájú Ọlọ́run, Ọlọ́run Israẹli.
The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Ìwọ fún wa ní ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ òjò, Ọlọ́run; ìwọ tu ilẹ̀ ìní rẹ̀ lára nígbà tí ó rẹ̀ ẹ́ tan.
You, O God, did send a plentiful rain, whereby you did confirm your inheritance, when it was weary.
10 Àwọn ènìyàn rẹ tẹ̀dó síbẹ̀ nínú ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ìní rẹ, Ọlọ́run, ìwọ pèsè fún àwọn aláìní.
Your congregation has dwelled therein: you, O God, have prepared of your goodness for the poor.
11 Olúwa ti pàṣẹ ọ̀rọ̀, púpọ̀ ní ogun àwọn ẹni tí ó ń ròyìn rẹ̀.
The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
12 “Àwọn ọba àti àwọn ológun yára sálọ; obìnrin tí ó sì jókòó ni ilé ní ń pín ìkógun náà.
Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
13 Nígbà tí ẹ̀yin dùbúlẹ̀ láàrín agbo ẹran, nígbà náà ni ẹ̀yin ó dàbí ìyẹ́ àdàbà ti a bò ní fàdákà, àti ìyẹ́ rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú wúrà pupa.”
Though you have lien among the pots, yet shall you be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
14 Nígbà tí Olódùmarè fọ́n àwọn ọba ká ní ilẹ̀ náà, ó dàbí òjò dídi ní Salmoni.
When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
15 Òkè Baṣani jẹ́ òkè Ọlọ́run; òkè tí ó ní orí púpọ̀ ni òkè Baṣani.
The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
16 Kí ló dé tí ẹ̀yin fi ń ṣe ìlara, ẹ̀yin òkè wúwo, òkè tí Ọlọ́run ti fẹ́ láti jẹ ọba níbi tí Olúwa fúnra rẹ̀ yóò máa gbé títí láé?
Why leap you, you high hills? this is the hill which God desires to dwell in; yes, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
17 Ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́wàá ni kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun Ọlọ́run ẹgbẹ̀rún lọ́nà ẹgbẹ̀rún; Olúwa ń bẹ láàrín wọn, ní Sinai ni ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀.
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
18 Ìwọ ti gòkè sí ibi gíga ìwọ ti di ìgbèkùn ní ìgbèkùn lọ; ìwọ ti gba ẹ̀bùn fún ènìyàn: nítòótọ́, fún àwọn ọlọ̀tẹ̀ pẹ̀lú, kí Olúwa Ọlọ́run lè máa bá wọn gbé.
You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have received gifts for men; yes, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
19 Olùbùkún ni Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Olùgbàlà wa, ẹni tí ó ń fi ojoojúmọ́ gba ẹrù wa rù. (Sela)
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. (Selah)
20 Ọlọ́run wa jẹ́ Ọlọ́run tó ń gbàlà àti sí Olúwa Olódùmarè ni ó ń gbà wá lọ́wọ́ ikú.
He that is our God is the God of salvation; and to GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.
21 Ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run yóò tẹ orí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀, àti agbárí onírun àwọn tó ń tẹ̀síwájú nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn
But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goes on still in his trespasses.
22 Olúwa wí pé, “Èmi ó mú wọn wá láti Baṣani; èmi ó mú wọn wá láti ibú omi Òkun,
The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
23 kí ẹsẹ̀ rẹ kí ó le pọ́n ní inú ẹ̀jẹ̀ àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ, àti ahọ́n àwọn ajá rẹ ní ìpín tiwọn lára àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ.”
That your foot may be dipped in the blood of your enemies, and the tongue of your dogs in the same.
24 Wọ́n ti rí ìrìn rẹ, Ọlọ́run, ìrìn Ọlọ́run mi àti ọba mi ní ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀.
They have seen your goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
25 Àwọn akọrin wà ní iwájú, àwọn olórin wà lẹ́yìn; àwọn ọmọbìnrin tí ń lu ṣaworo sì wà pẹ̀lú wọn.
The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with tambourines.
26 Ẹ fi ìyìn fún Olúwa ní ẹgbẹgbẹ́; àní fún Olúwa ẹ̀yin tí ó ti orísun Israẹli wá.
Bless you God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.
27 Níbẹ̀ ní ẹ̀yà kékeré Benjamini wà, tí ó ń darí wọn, níbẹ̀ ni àwọn ọmọ-aládé Juda, níbẹ̀ ni àwọn ọmọ-aládé Sebuluni àti tí Naftali.
There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
28 Pàṣẹ agbára rẹ, Ọlọ́run; fi agbára rẹ hàn wá, Ọlọ́run, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìwọ ti ṣe ní ìṣáájú.
Your God has commanded your strength: strengthen, O God, that which you have worked for us.
29 Nítorí tẹmpili rẹ ni Jerusalẹmu àwọn ọba yóò mú ẹ̀bùn wá fún ọ.
Because of your temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents to you.
30 Bá àwọn ẹranko búburú wí, tí ń gbé láàrín eèsún ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn akọ màlúù pẹ̀lú àwọn ọmọ màlúù títí olúkúlùkù yóò fi foríbalẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìwọ̀n fàdákà: tú àwọn ènìyàn tí ń ṣe inú dídùn sí ogun ká.
Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter you the people that delight in war.
31 Àwọn ọmọ-aládé yóò wá láti Ejibiti; Etiopia yóò na ọwọ́ rẹ̀ sí Ọlọ́run.
Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands to God.
32 Kọrin sí Ọlọ́run, ẹ̀yin ìjọba ayé, kọrin ìyìn sí Olúwa, (Sela)
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises to the Lord; (Selah)
33 Sí ẹni tí ń gun ọ̀run dé ọ̀run àtijọ́ lókè, tó ń fọhùn rẹ̀, ohùn ńlá.
To him that rides on the heavens of heavens, which were of old; see, he does send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.
34 Kéde agbára Ọlọ́run, ọláńlá rẹ̀ wà lórí Israẹli, tí agbára rẹ̀ wà lójú ọ̀run.
Ascribe you strength to God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
35 Ìwọ ní ẹ̀rù, Ọlọ́run, ní ibi mímọ́ rẹ; Ọlọ́run Israẹli fi agbára àti okun fún àwọn ènìyàn rẹ. Olùbùkún ní Ọlọ́run!
O God, you are terrible out of your holy places: the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power to his people. Blessed be God.
