< Psalms 66 >

1 Fún adarí orin. Orin. Saamu. Ẹ hó ìhó ayọ̀ sí Ọlọ́run, ẹ̀yin ilẹ̀ gbogbo!
To the Chief Musician. A Melodious Song. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;
2 Ẹ kọrin ọlá orúkọ rẹ̀; ẹ kọrin ìyìnsí i.
Praise ye in song the glory of his Name, Celebrate the glory of his praise:
3 Ẹ wí fún Ọlọ́run pé, “Ìwọ ti ní ẹ̀rù tó nínú iṣẹ́ rẹ! Nípa ọ̀pọ̀ agbára rẹ ni àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ yóò fi sìn ọ́.
Say unto God—How fearful in thy doings, Through the abounding of thy power, shall thy foes come cringing unto thee;
4 Gbogbo ayé ń wólẹ̀ fún ọ; wọn ń kọrin ìyìn sí ọ, wọ́n ń kọrin ìyìn sí orúkọ rẹ.” (Sela)
All the earth, shall bow themselves down to thee, And sing praises unto thee, Shall praise in song thy Name. (Selah)
5 Ẹ wá wo ohun tí Ọlọ́run ṣe, iṣẹ́ rẹ̀ ti ní ẹ̀rù tó sí àwọn ọmọ ènìyàn!
Come and see the doings of God, —Fearful in deed toward the sons of men:
6 Ó yí òkun padà sí ilẹ̀ gbígbẹ, wọ́n fi ẹsẹ̀ rin inú omi kọjá, níbẹ̀ ni àwa yọ̀ nínú rẹ̀.
He turned the sea into dry land, Through the stream, crossed they over on foot, There did we rejoice in him:
7 Ó ń jẹ ọba títí láé nípa agbára rẹ̀, ojú rẹ̀ ń wo orílẹ̀-èdè kí àwọn ọlọ̀tẹ̀ má ṣe gbé ara wọn ga. (Sela)
Who ruleth, in his might, unto times age abiding, His eyes, over the nations, keep watch, The rebellious, let them not exalt themselves. (Selah)
8 Ẹ yin Ọlọ́run wa, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn, jẹ́ kí a mú ni gbọ́ ohùn ìyìn rẹ̀;
Bless our God, O ye peoples, And cause to be heard, the sound of his praise; —
9 Ó ti dá ààbò bo ẹ̀mí wa, kò sì jẹ́ kí ẹsẹ̀ wa kí ó yẹ̀.
Who hath set our soul among the living, And hath not suffered, our foot, to slip.
10 Nítorí ìwọ, Ọlọ́run, dán wa wò; ìwọ dán wa bí a tí ń dán fàdákà wò.
For thou didst prove us, O God, Thou didst refine us, according to the refining of silver:
11 Ìwọ mú wa wá sínú ẹ̀wọ̀n o sì di ẹrù lé ẹ̀yìn wa.
Thou didst bring us into the hunter’s net, Thou didst lay a load upon our loins;
12 Ìwọ mú àwọn ènìyàn gún wá ní orí àwa la iná àti omi kọjá ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ mú wa dé ibi ọ̀pọ̀.
Thou didst let men ride at our head; We went into fire and into water, But thou didst bring us forth into freedom.
13 Èmi ó wá sí tẹmpili rẹ pẹ̀lú ọrẹ ẹbọ sísun, kí n sì mú ẹ̀jẹ́ mi ṣẹ sí ọ,
I will enter thy house with ascending-sacrifices, I will pay unto thee my vows,
14 ẹ̀jẹ́ tí ètè mi jẹ́, tí ẹnu mi sì sọ nígbà tí mo wà nínú ìṣòro.
Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, in my distress.
15 Èmi ó rú ẹbọ sísun ọlọ́ràá sí ọ, àti ẹbọ ọ̀rá àgbò; èmi ó rú akọ màlúù àti ewúrẹ́. (Sela)
Ascending-sacrifices of fatlings, will I cause to ascend unto thee, With the perfume of rams, I will offer bulls, with he-goats. (Selah)
16 Ẹ wá gbọ́ gbogbo ẹ̀yin tí ó bẹ̀rù Ọlọ́run; ẹ jẹ́ kí n sọ ohun tí ó ṣe fún mi.
Come! hearken—that I may recount, all ye reverers of God, What he hath done for my soul: —
17 Mo fi ẹnu mi kígbe sókè sí i, ìyìn rẹ̀ wà ní ẹnu mi.
Unto him—with my mouth, did I cry, And high praise was under my tongue.
18 Bí èmi bá gba ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ní àyà mi, Olúwa kì yóò gbọ́ ohùn mi;
If, iniquity, I had cared for in my heart, My Lord, had not heard me!
19 ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run gbọ́ nítòótọ́ ó ti gbọ́ ohùn mi nínú àdúrà.
But in truth, God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Ìyìn ni fún Ọlọ́run ẹni tí kò kọ àdúrà mi tàbí mú ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi!
Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his own lovingkindness from me.
