< Psalms 65 >

1 Fún adarí orin. Saamu ti Dafidi. Orin. Ìyìn ń dúró dè ọ́, Ọlọ́run, ní Sioni; sí ọ ni a ó mú ẹ̀jẹ́ wa ṣẹ.
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm. A Song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
2 Ìwọ tí ó ń gbọ́ àdúrà, gbogbo ènìyàn yóò sì wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ.
O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
3 Ọ̀ràn àìṣedéédéé borí mi bí ó ṣe ti ìrékọjá wa ni! Ìwọ ni yóò wẹ̀ wọ́n nù kúrò.
Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
4 Ìbùkún ni fún àwọn tí o yàn tí o mú wa láti máa gbé àgọ́ rẹ! A tẹ́ wá lọ́rùn pẹ̀lú ohun rere inú ilé rẹ, ti tẹmpili mímọ́ rẹ.
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, the holy place of thy temple.
5 Ìwọ dá wa lóhùn pẹ̀lú ohun ìyanu ti òdodo, Ọlọ́run olùgbàlà wa, ẹni tí ṣe ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé gbogbo òpin ayé àti àwọn tí ó jìnnà nínú òkun,
By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation; thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
6 ìwọ tí ó dá òkè nípa agbára rẹ, tí odi ara rẹ ní àmùrè agbára,
Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded about with might:
7 ẹni tí ó mú rírú omi òkun dákẹ́, ríru ariwo omi wọn, àti ìdágìrì àwọn ènìyàn.
Which stilleth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples.
8 Àwọn tí ó ń gbé òkèrè bẹ̀rù, nítorí àmì rẹ wọ̀n-ọn-nì; ìwọ mú ìjáde òwúrọ̀ àti ti àṣálẹ́ yọ̀, ìwọ pè fún orin ayọ̀.
They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
9 Ìwọ bẹ ayé wò, o sì bomirin; ìwọ mú un ọ̀rọ̀ púpọ̀. Odò Ọlọ́run kún fún omi láti pèsè ọkà fún àwọn ènìyàn, nítorí ibẹ̀ ni ìwọ ti yàn án.
Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, thou greatly enrichest it; the river of God is full of water: thou providest them corn, when thou hast so prepared the earth.
10 Ìwọ fi bomirin sí aporo rẹ̀ ìwọ tẹ́ ògúlùtu rẹ̀; ìwọ fi òjò mú ilẹ̀ rẹ̀ rọ̀, o sì bùkún ọ̀gbìn rẹ̀.
Thou waterest her furrows abundantly; thou settlest the ridges thereof: thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof.
11 Ìwọ fi oore rẹ dé ọdún ní adé, ọ̀rá ń kán ní ipa ọ̀nà rẹ.
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
12 Pápá tútù ní aginjù ń kan àwọn òkè kéékèèké fi ayọ̀ di ara wọn ní àmùrè.
They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the hills are girded with joy.
13 Agbo ẹran ni a fi wọ pápá tútù náà ní aṣọ; àfonífojì ni a fi ọkà bò mọ́lẹ̀, wọ́n hó fún ayọ̀, wọ́n ń kọrin pẹ̀lú.
The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
