< Psalms 63 >

1 Saamu ti Dafidi. Nígbà tí ó wà nínú aginjù Juda. Ọlọ́run, ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run mi, nígbà gbogbo ni mo ń ṣàfẹ́rí rẹ, òǹgbẹ rẹ ń gbẹ ọkàn mi, ara mi fà sí ọ, ní ilẹ̀ gbígbẹ àti ilẹ̀ tí ń ṣàárẹ̀ níbi tí kò sí omi.
A Psalme of David. When he was in the wildernesse of Judah. O God, thou art my God, earely will I seeke thee: my soule thirsteth for thee: my flesh longeth greatly after thee in a barren and drye land without water.
2 Èmi ti rí ọ ní ibi mímọ́, mo rí agbára àti ògo rẹ.
Thus I beholde thee as in the Sanctuarie, when I beholde thy power and thy glorie.
3 Nítorí ìfẹ́ rẹ dára ju ayé lọ, ètè mi yóò fògo fún ọ.
For thy louing kindnesse is better then life: therefore my lippes shall prayse thee.
4 Èmi ó yìn ọ́ níwọ̀n ìgbà tí mo wà láààyè, èmi ó gbé ọwọ́ sókè, èmi ó sì pe orúkọ rẹ.
Thus will I magnifie thee all my life, and lift vp mine hands in thy name.
5 A ó tẹ́ ọkàn mi lọ́rùn bí ọlọ́ràá oúnjẹ; pẹ̀lú ètè ìyìn, ẹnu mi yóò yìn ọ́.
My soule shalbe satisfied, as with marowe and fatnesse, and my mouth shall praise thee with ioyfull lippes,
6 Nígbà tí mo rántí rẹ lórí ibùsùn mi; èmi ń ronú rẹ títí ìṣọ́ òru.
When I remember thee on my bedde, and when I thinke vpon thee in the night watches.
7 Nítorí ìwọ ni ìrànlọ́wọ́ mi, mo kọrin níbi òjìji ìyẹ́ apá rẹ.
Because thou hast bene mine helper, therefore vnder the shadow of thy wings wil I reioyce.
8 Ọkàn mí fà sí ọ: ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ gbé mi ró.
My soule cleaueth vnto thee: for thy right hand vpholdeth me.
9 Àwọn tí ó ń wá ọkàn mí ni a ó parun; wọn ó sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí ìsàlẹ̀ ilẹ̀ ayé.
Therefore they that seeke my soule to destroy it, they shall goe into the lowest partes of the earth.
10 Wọn ó ti ọwọ́ idà ṣubú wọn ó sì di jíjẹ fún kọ̀lọ̀kọ̀lọ̀.
They shall cast him downe with the edge of the sword, and they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 Ṣùgbọ́n ọba yóò yọ̀ nínú Ọlọ́run ẹni tí ó fi orúkọ Ọlọ́run búra yóò ṣògo ṣùgbọ́n ẹnu àwọn òpùrọ́ la ó pamọ́.
But the King shall reioyce in God, and all that sweare by him shall reioyce in him: for the mouth of them that speake lyes, shall be stopped.
