< Psalms 62 >
1 Fún adarí orin. Fun Jedutuni. Saamu Dafidi. Nínú Ọlọ́run nìkan ni ọkàn mi ti rí ìsinmi; ìgbàlà mi ti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀ wá.
To the Chief Musician. On Jeduthun—A Melody of David. Surely, towards God, silence [becometh] my soul, From him, is my salvation:
2 Òun nìkan ní àpáta mi àti ìgbàlà mi; Òun ni ààbò mi, a kì yóò sí mi ní ipò padà.
Surely, he, is my rock and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be greatly shaken!
3 Ẹ̀yin ó ti máa kọ́lú ènìyàn kan pẹ́ tó? Gbogbo yín ni ó fẹ́ pa á, bí ògiri tí ó fẹ́ yẹ̀, àti bí ọgbà tí ń wó lọ?
How long will ye shout at a man? Ye shall be crushed all of you, —Like a wall that bulgeth, —a fence pushed in!
4 Kìkì èrò wọn ni láti bì ṣubú kúrò nínú ọlá rẹ̀; inú wọn dùn sí irọ́. Wọ́n ń fi ẹnu wọn súre, ṣùgbọ́n wọ́n ń gégùn ún nínú ọkàn wọn. (Sela)
Surely, from his elevation, they have taken counsel to thrust him down, They accept falsehood, —With his mouth, they each of them bless, But, inwardly, they revile. (Selah)
5 Nínú Ọlọ́run nìkan ni ìsinmi wà, ìwọ Ọlọ́run mi. Ìrètí mi wá láti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ.
Surely, towards God, be thou silent, my soul, For, from him, is mine expectation:
6 Òun nìkan ní àpáta àti ìgbàlà mi; Òun ni ààbò mi, a kì yóò ṣí mi ní ipò.
Surely, he, is my rock, and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be shaken!
7 Ìgbàlà mi àti ògo mi dúró nínú Ọlọ́run; Òun ní àpáta ńlá mi, àti ààbò mi.
Upon God, [depend] my salvation and mine honour, My rock of strength, my refuge, are in God.
8 Gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ní gbogbo ìgbà, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn; tú ọkàn rẹ jáde sí i, nítorí Ọlọ́run ni ààbò wa.
Trust ye in him all ye assembly of the people, Pour out, before him, your heart, God, is a refuge for us. (Selah)
9 Nítòótọ́, asán ni àwọn ọmọ ènìyàn, èké sì ni àwọn olóyè, wọ́n gòkè nínú ìwọ̀n, lápapọ̀ wọ́n jẹ́ èémí.
Surely, vanity, are men of low degree, Deception, men of high degree, —In the balances, they go up, They, are [made] of vanity, altogether.
10 Má ṣe gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ìnilára, tàbí gbéraga nínú olè jíjà, nítòótọ́ bí ọrọ̀ rẹ̀ ń pọ̀ sí i, má ṣe gbẹ́kẹ̀ rẹ lé wọn.
Do not trust in extortion, Nor, with robbery, become vain, As for wealth, when it beareth fruit, Do not set [thereon your] heart.
11 Ọlọ́run ti sọ̀rọ̀ lẹ́ẹ̀kejì, ni mo gbọ́ èyí pé, “Ti Ọlọ́run ni agbára,
One thing, hath God spoken, Two things, [there are] which I have heard, That, power, belongeth unto God;
12 pẹ̀lúpẹ̀lú, Olúwa, tìrẹ ni àánú; nítorí tí ìwọ san án fún olúkúlùkù ènìyàn gẹ́gẹ́ bí iṣẹ́ rẹ̀.”
And, thine, O My Lord, is lovingkindness, —For, thou, wilt pay back unto every man—according to his deed.
