< Psalms 46 >

1 Fún adarí orin. Ti àwọn ọmọ Kora. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ti alamoti. Orin. Ọlọ́run ni ààbò àti agbára wa ó jẹ́ olùrànlọ́wọ́ ní ìgbà ìpọ́njú.
To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.
2 Nítorí náà àwa kì yóò bẹ̀rù, bí a tilẹ̀ ṣí ayé ní ìdí, tí òkè sì ṣubú sínú Òkun.
Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.
3 Tí omi rẹ̀ tilẹ̀ ń hó tí ó sì ń mì tí àwọn òkè ńlá tilẹ̀ ń mì pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ agbára rẹ̀. (Sela)
Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. (Selah)
4 Odò ńlá kan wà tí ṣíṣàn rẹ̀ mú inú ìlú Ọlọ́run dùn, ibi mímọ́, níbi ti Ọ̀gá-ògo ń gbé.
Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.
5 Ọlọ́run wà pẹ̀lú rẹ̀, kò ní yẹ̀: Ọlọ́run yóò ràn án lọ́wọ́ ní kùtùkùtù òwúrọ̀.
God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.
6 Àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè ń bínú, àwọn ilẹ̀ ọba ṣubú, ó gbé ohun rẹ̀ sókè, ayé yọ̀.
When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.
7 Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun wà pẹ̀lú wa, Ọlọ́run Jakọbu ni ààbò wa.
The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)
8 Ẹ wá wo iṣẹ́ Olúwa irú ahoro tí ó ṣe ní ayé.
Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 O mú ọ̀tẹ̀ tán de òpin ilẹ̀ ayé ó ṣẹ́ ọrun, ó sì gé ọ̀kọ̀ sí méjì ó fi kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun jóná.
He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.
10 Ẹ dúró jẹ́ẹ́, kí ẹ sì mọ̀ pé èmi ní Ọlọ́run. A ó gbé mi ga nínú àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, a ó gbé mi ga ní ayé.
Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.
11 Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun wà pẹ̀lú wa; Ọlọ́run Jakọbu sì ni ààbò wa.
The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)
